    The writer of this article has presented a critical study of Arsh Siddiqui's poetry. He has pinpointed those tendencies and attitudes of Arsh Siddiqui which have acquainted him with perception of conscious, humanism, broadmindedness and a jovial society. The writer counts Arsh Siddiqui as the first poet in Multan who has evolved a synthesis of (old and modern of east and west) literature in the tradition of poetry in Multan. He has presented the modern poetic tendencies with concious literary theories. He does not belong to a movement. He has his own theory based on scientific consciousness. He has adopted modernism on the basis of this theory. His theory is free from all the impurities. It emulates balance in life, broadmindedness, joviality and humanism. From this perspective Arsh Siddiqui is the first realistic, conscious and theoretic modern poet in Multan

    The erudite North African Ahmad Zarruq (d. 899/1493) authored the Qawaid al-Tasawwuf. This landmark of Sufi literature imparts Sufi ideology and ritual in a distinctive aphoristic style designed to appeal to the highly educated reader. The work is concisely structured, using terse language that reveals the writer’s familiarity with a wide array of Islamic sciences. My essay proposes to investigate the style and sources of the Qawaid in order to understand its nature and methodology, and to identify its proper place in the literature of Sufism

The agenda of this movement includes acting as a platform to counter the social inequality and challenge the political structure, dominant power holders and traditional beliefs or practices. The theme of this article revolves around the analysis of feminist movement with respect to the folk culture and traditions.
