Female politicle leaders have written a few autobiographies but their autobiographies are interesting and stunning. Benazir Bhutto and Abida Hussain are too prominent figure of Pakistani politics. No full textThis research paper is Allama Iqbal's point of view about Islamic culture, compared with western cultural thoughts with particular reference of Spengler and T.S. Eliot. The main theme is taken from Iqbal's fifth lecture "The spirit of Muslim Culture". This article brings a great difference between Islam and western world in this regard. Iqbal condemns their misconception about Islam and expressed with logic that the spirit and mysticism of Islamic culture is never ever borrowed from other civilizations and religions. But it is pure intellect and religious philosophy, higher Sufism, the ideal reversed in the possession and enjoyment of the infinite. No full textMusharraf Alam Zauqi's novel "Pokemon ki Duniya" brings forth the conflict between the traditionally established structure of social values and the current metamorphosis of the moral codes affected by neo-imperialism, consumerism, media, globalization, internet, chatting and junk food etc. This novel, in the perspective of Hindustan, discusses the cultural and the civilization degeneration of the third world countries with the special focus on the changing attitudes towards gender issues. This attitudinal shift causes a "future shock" in that it, despite having a rapport with progressive and social process, is rooted in the consequences of consumerism and globalization. "Pokemon ki Duniya" triggers a debate on the above mentioned transformation and its consequences. This article puts on the thematic variants, their basis, scope and the variegated artistic techniques used in this novel

Faiz was no doubt a magnificent poet but it is a hard fact that his unique and non- traditional criticism was undermined under his popularity as a poet not only in his times but even today. His unique diction, style, balance and straight forward opinions are very rare and exceptional in the field of literary criticism. His firmness with his ideology that literature is a product of collective thoughts of the society is conceived from evolutionary ideas of Karl Marx. His reforms in the field of literature are an asset not only to unveil his own poetry but to understand the real philosophy and approach of progressive movement. However, his remarkable work was criticized by contemporary critics. In spite of all opposition his criticism is by and large free from partiality and misbalance. His thought provoking essays need to be explored to realize the importance of collective conscience of masses. In the present hours of turbulence and instability it is essential to reaffirm his ideology to make literature more beneficial for the common people

Dr. Anwar Sadid extended work in this direction in the form of various Schools. i .e . School of Lahore and school of Karachi. Hafiz Mehmood Sherani has also contributed in this regard .At the time, the research work in pakistan is greately tied with theses written for the partial fulfillment of M. Phil and Ph.D Programs in Urdu. There is need to strengthen these means to promote quality research in this insatiable area
