Urdu and Sindhi are linguistically unite and supportive languages. Both languages belong to the Indo-Aryan family of languages. Both languages were born and flourished in the same region, the Indian subcontinent. Sindhi Muslims also supported Urdu in the well-known linguistic conflict of the subcontinent (Urdu, Hindi conflict). Before the formation of Pakistan, there was no quarrel between Urdu and Sindhi. In the first constitution of the Pakistan, When Urdu was declared as the only national language The Sindhis felt that their mother tongue was being pushed aside for the sake of national language and this caused great grief and anger for the Sindhis. Sindhi writers, intellectuals, teachers and the people protested against this. The Sindhis began to feel that Sindhi, the ancient and developed or conquered language of the subcontinent, was being neglected in schools, colleges and official correspondence, thus increasing the hatred among the Sindhis against the Urdu-speaking class. “Sindhi Language Day” was also a series of demonstrations which were celebrated all over Sindh on 9th November 1962. 7th July 1972 is an important day in the history of Sindh because the law of teaching, promotion and use of Sindhi language was passed in the Sindh Assembly on that day

The leaven of the novel is formed by reality and imagination. A novelist completes the distance from the past to the present and from the present to the future, embracing modern consciousness. The main character in Waheed Ahmed's novel "Zeno" was a mathematician and philosopher in ancient Greece who was born around 490 BC. The novelist has had this dialogue with the heads of the modern KG countries. Zeno presents to these chiefs the same position he had before Darius and Alexander in ancient times. The plot of the novel seems to be complex as well as giving the impression of magical realism technique. The story of the novel does not seem to stop anywhere and the process of one movement continues every moment. From the beginning to the end of the novel the world is different. It seems to be in the grip of wealth. It seems that it is not up to man to get out of this circle of time
