    Heidelberg has a unique history of Literature and Culture. Significant Literature has been written and collected in Heidelberg. Heidelberg and its romantic silence has strong impact on creative artists. Allama Mohammad Iqbal spent few months in Heidelberg during 1907. Although Atiya Faizi has written about Iqbal's social life but Iqbal's real artistic approach of Heidelberg is in the poems that he wrote during his stay at Heidelberg. "Akhtar e Subh" is one of these poems. This paper deals with Iqbal's hand written script of this poem as well as with published form. This paper also explores the various literary aspects of the poem

    In the sub-continent, British rule compelled the locals to think and act differently due to its cruel policies and exploiting behavior with the inhabitants of the soul. All the nations, especially Muslims, due to Hindu-British nexus felt highly discriminated in all fields of life.So, the Muslim intellectuals adopted many ways and initiated different movements for Muslim renaissance in sub-continent. Revival through literary activities was a great step taken by some Muslim Literateurs in this regard. The novel was one of the most popular genres of literature, which was adopted to highlight social issues. Through historical novels, efforts were made to awaken the Muslims. In this perspective, the novelistic style of Sirah writing was adopted by some writers to promote the teachings of the Holy Prophet PBUH and to solve social issues and problems faced by the Muslim society. Maulana Abdul Halim Sharar, Aftab Ahmed Siddiqui sardhanvi, Mihir-al-Qidri and Ihsan B.A were among those writers who wrote the life of the Holy Prophet PBUH by adopting the said pattern.Novel writing, after its huge admiration in Europe, was much popular in the sub-continent. Muslim writers were inspired by this style of writing, so they considered this genre of literature much useful to highlight the issues.     Fort William College was established at Calcutta, the capital of the British East India Company occupied territory, in 1800 AD for the purpose to taught local languages, history, etc. to new comer European officers in India. Dr. John Gilchrist was appointed the professor of Hindustani or Urdu language. In his patronage many prominent Urdu writers wrote a large number of Urdu Prose (and some poetic) books which have a great historical and literary importance. Some of those books were made published by the College. Aside a number of research books and various writings on Fort William College, there is less, rather nothing any information and research study about the first publication of Fort William College belongs to Hindoostanee or Urdu.     Kanwar Oodhy Bhaan, is a tale written by Sayyed Insha Ullah Khan Insha. This tale is a fine piece of modernity. It was compiled in 1803. This tale was completed out side in the Fort William College. It was written in an era when the prose movement of Fort Willian College was on the extreme. Sayyed Insha has not used even a single word of Arabic and Persian in it. Many editors have completed this tale among them the names of Molvi Abdul Haq, Molana Imtiaz Ali Khan Arshi, Intizar Hussain, Dr. Abdul Sattar Delvi, Sayyed Qudrat Naqvi, Dr. Sulaiman Hussain, Dr. Shareef Ahmed Qureshi and Ikram Chughtai are included.     This article discusses nineteenth-century mode of thinking of Chishti Sufis in Punjab and its representation in the cultural products and artworks such as painting, architecture, calligraphy, and taghziya. Chishti Sufis based their understanding of the Universe on Ibn-al Arabi’s ideas of Symbolism. By attaching primacy to the interpretation of artwork, Sufis linked craft practices with their ideas of wajud and insane-e-kamil. Oral traditionsof artisan-builders and craftsmen suggest that they borrowed these ideas from Sufis to make sense of their cultural products, thus establishing a close relationship between artisanal practices and nineteenth-century Sufi ideas

    In the sixties, renowned critic Saleem Ahmed wrote two very important articles onmodern Urdu poetry and called the modern creative trends of Urdu poetry unpopularand half-expressed poetry. Urdu critics did not pay any special attention to thisargument of Saleem Ahmed. There has come no change in the popularity of AzaadNazm. Azaad Nazm has become more popular than ever and the most effectiveplatform in presenting today's creative issues.Saleem Ahmed borrowed the concept ofthe imperfect man from Freud and tried to examine Urdu modern poetry in the contextof the ideological debate of Hasan Askari's "Riwayat" in the field of unpopularpoetry. It was Ludicrous that he himself too was a poet with significant stylistic andthematic deviations in Urdu Nazm and ghazal, but he continued to call modern Poemdeviating from tradition. In this article, Saleem Ahmed's point of view has beendiscussed. This is probably the first critical article in which an attempt has been madeto give a reasoned answer to Saleem Ahmed's objections and his position has not beenagreed upon.
