Creative literature written in the technique of letters is called epistolary. The firstattempt in this regard is the novel Cárcel de Amor (1492) by the Spanish writer Diegode San Pedro. While James Howell's novel Familiar Letters is predominant inEnglish, this technique gained popularity following the publication of SamuelRichardson's novel Pamela (1740). The first Urdu novel, Joya Haq published in 1917,1919, 1921. After him, Qazi Abdul Ghaffar, Majnoon Gorakhpuri, M. Aslam andMustansir Hussain Tarar have used this technique in some of their novels. Literature in general and fiction in particular presents and uses the sociological and historical details of the external world. The detail sometimes helps the writer to construct the fictional world and in other times the writer presents an alternative image of the contemporary wold. Angan, a renowned novel, constructs its narrative with the prevalent political and historical situation. The narrative reflects upon the prejudices, biases and shallowness of the contemporary political culture in an alternative perspective which helps the reader to revisit and see the picture of political movements in the mirror of a family. This article analyses the novel and argues that literature can be an alternative narrative of the history

Capitalism is part of the Continuity of the feudal system. This system is
directly realted to the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution. The
Bolshevik movement served as oxygen in the pursuit of the rights of
workers and peasants. He did a lot of work on workers and peasants,
which also had an impact on world literature. Regular Russian ideology
was propagated under the influeuce of the peogressive movement in the
1936. Poets of the subcontinent played and important role in the
promotion of Marxist and socialist ideologies, among which the names of
Sajjad zaheer, Ali Sardar Jafri, Faiz, Sahir and Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi are
prominent. MD Taseer's name is charecteristically not eworthy. This

Ajmal Kamal is publishing a renowned quarterly literary journal 'Aaj' from Karachi (Pakistan) since 1989. This journal is celebrated for its translations of fiction from English, Arabic, French, Hindi, Persian amp; German language. Ajmal Kamal as editor selects world's best literature for his journal's readers and get it translated in Urdu. His selection is from different genres of literature but he prefers stories whether it is short-story or novel. 'Aaj' has also given a vital movement to a considerably new genre of Urdu poetry named as "Nasri Nazm" and introduced the great literary works of poets like Afzal Hussain Syed, Zeeshan Sahil amp; Azra Abbas in this regard. Besides all this, very notable, well written and significant literary criticism has also been published in 'Aaj'. Critical essays of celebrated writers on fiction, poetry, language amp; linguistics, religion, social sciences and reviews of different books have been published in different issues. Distinguished critics of "Aaj" from Urdu world are Nayyer Masood, C.M. Naim, M. Khalid Akhtar, Shamsur Rehman Farooqi, Ajmal Kamal, Fehmeeda Riaz, Arjumand Ara, Bakht Bedar and Muzzafar Ali Syed. In the decade of 1960s from " Halqa e Arbab e Zoq" a new trend of poetry emerged as a revolt against prevelant linguistic principles. In this context new poets presented the theory of " Nae Lisani Tashkilat" which totally changed syntax of urdu language. That's how the structure of modern urdu verse was devised and 'words’ were given the status of 'Thing' through new metaphorical symbols, rules and personification, so new urdu verse was bestowed complexity. In this regard modern poets introduced this form of new poetry into their verse. This article presents a study of above said literary movement and analyses the all aspects of new poets who personified the new verse

Ghazal is the most popular genre of poetry. Besides basic topics of ghazal. Some traditional topics also became a part of it. The transienty nature of the world is one of them. Under the influence of religious values and mysticism this topic was introduced in modern urdu and punjabi ghazal after the creation of Pakistan, with the tradition of classical ghazal. With the help of this traditional topic positive and negative effects can be witnessed on human temperament in modern ghazal. It highlights true meaning of human life and a man tries to make his brief span of life memorable through his actions. In this research paper, the continuity of the usage of this traditional topic in modern urdu and punjabi ghazal will be analysed. Furthermore, this topic will be compared to the ghazals of both the languages to highlight its intellectual harmony to demonstrate that ghazal is still depicting true ideology of human life
