    Improving Community Welfare through the Hopeful Family Program

    The purpose of this study is to define and analyze the implementation of the Family Hope Program policy in Teluk Pandan District, East Kutai Regency, based on Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 101/HUK/2022. In addition, the report endeavors to characterize and analyze the factors that support and impede the policy's implementation. This study employed a descriptive-qualitative methodology based on the theory of public policy implementation for data collection by means of in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, as well as for data analysis by means of data condensation techniques, data presentation, and concluding/verifying. The implementation of the Family Hope Program policy in Teluk Pandan District, East Kutai Regency was termed "successful" despite the presence of impeding factors, according to the findings of this study. The implementation of the policy is hindered by the following internal factors: information about the policy was not uniformly disseminated, so it did not reach remote areas; human resources in terms of quantity and quality are inadequate; operational facilities are inadequate; budgetary resources are still limited; the provision of incentives for executors is not yet feasible; and the level of participation among beneficiary families is still low. The distance between the assistance disbursement site and the beneficiary family's domicile is an external factor that hinders the success of the Family Hope Program

    Study of Implementation Effectiveness of Urban Green Open Space Management

    The existence of free space is crucial to the functioning of a society. Individuals can utilize the open space to facilitate interactions with other citizens. In addition to fostering social interaction in a region, open space plays a crucial role in sustaining the environment's ecological system and fostering the formation of aesthetic elements of the environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 1 of 2007 on the Arrangement of Green Open Space in Urban Areas in Probolinggo Regency, as well as to describe and analyze the factors that support and hinder the implementation of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 1 of 2007 on the Arrangement of Green Open Space in Urban Areas in Probolinggo Regency. This research employed a qualitative methodology. The results showed that implementing the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 1 of 2007 concerning arranging green open spaces in urban areas in Probolinggo Regency, especially in processing green open spaces, went well. Implementing the urban green open space arrangement policy in Probolinggo Regency runs by referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 1 of 2007 in Probolinggo Regency. The driving factors in implementing urban green open space arrangement policies in Probolinggo Regency based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 1 of 2007 in the form of internal driving factors include; Human resources and the legal basis. At the same time, external driving factors include; Involvement of the private sector. The inhibiting factors in implementing urban green open space arrangement policies in Probolinggo Regency based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 1 of 2007 in the form of internal inhibiting factors include; socialization and infrastructure.     The major goal of MGNREGA is to act as an engine of rural development via building up rural infrastructure and promoting employment opportunities in rural areas. The program aims to target inclusive growth along with sustainable development and improvement in agricultural productivity. The employment created under this program benefits the villagers by enhancing and upgrading village infrastructure and environment. The present study is relevant as it aims to reveal the effective role which MGNREGA can play in the current scenario of this Tamil Nadu which has led to large scale reverse migration of labour from cities to villages in the short run there has surely been an increase in the rural workforce owing to reverse migration amidst recent periods. MGNREGA if implemented effectively can certainly transform the outlook of agricultural sector MGNREGA can help prevent labour shortage in rural areas through provision of work close to home and creation of effective and durable public assets MGNREGA can surely act as a tool for post-COVID rural recovery along with balancing the uncontrollable influx of labour from rural to urban areas

    This study aims to analyze the extent of community participation in Deli Serdang district in the implementation of the 2018 regional head election and to analyze the factors that encourage and hinder or become obstacles for the community in Deli Serdang Regency in carrying out or participating, in using their voting rights in regional head elections. The method used in studying the phenomenon of community participation (phenomenological) is a qualitative research method. The results of this study are first, the public perceives regional elections as rah-rah (spending funds); no benefit; not thinking about the fate of the people; and people's aspirations are not accommodated, tend to be manipulative. Second, background and basic considerations used as justification for people's attitude not to proceed in Pilkada or not to vote alias Gol-Put is because they do not know the candidates closely; socialization that was less than optimal and he called the Pilkada as something oriented solely to position, while their aspirations were never accommodated and their aspirations paid attention to over the entire Pilkada process

    An Analysis of Indicators of Quality Education in Low-Fee Paying Private High Schools: A Case Of Mabelreign/Warren Park District in Harare, Zimbabwe

    The study aimed to evaluate the indicators of quality education in low-fee paying private high schools in the Mabelreign/Warren Park district in the Harare Metropolitan Province of Zimbabwe. A clear evaluation of indicators of quality education was essential to bridge the knowledge gap on the quality of education in low-fee paying private high schools. Essentially, this study was unique as it evaluated the indicators of quality education in low-fee paying private high schools in an education system where there was a sharp increase in the number of low-fee paying private high schools. The study was guided by the systems theory which looks at the phenomenon at hand through the lens of interrelatedness of elements in the low-fee paying private high schools’ systems. The study adopted a qualitative method research approach, interpretivism paradigm and a case study design which enabled the researcher and the participants to be co-constructors of knowledge. More so, the sample for the study was 50 participants which was participants from 3 low-fee paying private high schools in Mabelreign/Warren Park district. Convenience sampling technique was adopted to select  fifteen (15) interviewees which was made up of twelve (12) teachers  and three (3) school heads. In addition,  the number of twelve (12) teachers interviewed were reached based on the saturation point principle. This study used content analysis technique to analyse data. The major findings are that teacher qualifications, and experience, pupil-textbook ratio, teacher-pupil ratio, and teaching and learning resources are the major indicators of quality education. The study recommended that entrepreneurs in low-fee paying private high schools should purchase hardcopy textbooks and even e-textbooks such that they leave their message to the target market of a textbook-pupil ratio of 1:1

    Digital marketing and customer satisfaction in the Garment industry during Post COVID 19 Pandemic in Zimbabwe

    Consumer purchasing in Zimbabwe has always been dominated by Bricks and Mortar shops with few online stores. When COVID 19 set in the paths of consumers in March 2019 with restrictions on movement but with needs and wants to be met, many firms were forced to re think their marketing strategies which saw a rise in digital marketing in Zimbabwe. Consumers are always seen as savvy animals with ever changing needs and wants, all to be met by the firms through the supply of goods and services. The rise in consumer needs, competition and declining income levels during and after COVID 19 made firms to blend their marketing strategies and encompass the recent digital marketing strategies. This was the optional marketing strategy firms were left to embrace as Zimbabwe has a 90% mobile phone ownership per household (Maphosa, 2021). The study was informed by Theory of planned behaviour. The target population for the study was low to medium income segment of the market mainly comprising of university students. Convenience sampling technique was used and the interviewer used respondents that were easy to reach and the planned number of interviews was 25, however 18 interviews were conducted, data saturation (Kumar, 2011) was reached and no further data was gathered. The study results showed differed perceptions from consumers based on their technological knowledge towards ICT but mainly many consumers showed willingness to embrace digital purchasing in the 21St century although many challenges included fear of cyber crimes, poor network, cost of data, age of the consumer and social networks influence. The results from the study will help many organisations in drafting their digital marketing strategies using consumer based perceptions

    Implementation of Traditional Sports Development coaching policies at the East Kutai Regency's

     In the experience of the life of the Indonesian nation, today there have been symptoms of inequality of opportunity and ability to utilize the right to exercise at all levels of society. The causes are strung together in a multi-complex network of problems. According to Mahendra (2008: 2), these problems can be seen at the level of government bureaucracy, community level, and individual level. This study aims to describe and analyze the East Kutai Regent Regulation Number 22 of 2023's implementation of traditional sports coaching policies at the East Kutai Regency's Youth and Sports Office, as well as to describe and analyze the factors that support and hinder policy implementation. Data gathering methods included interviews, observations, and documentation; data analysis methods included data condensation, data presentation, and concluding/verification. Researchers utilized a descriptive-qualitative methodology. The findings of this study suggest that the East Kutai Regency Youth and Sports Service's traditional sports coaching policies, which are based on East Kutai Regent Regulation Number 22 of 2023, have been implemented in the best possible way in terms of communication, resources, commitment, and bureaucratic structure. Inhibiting forces are still present, though. Internal impediments to the implementation of these policies include the existence of insufficient human resources, the existence of informational resources in the form of regulations, the contents of which are still not fully outlined, and external impediments, namely the lack of significant support from local business owners

    Urban Area Spatial Planning and Zoning for Blitar City, Indonesia

     Blitar City Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) is one of the pioneers of detailed spatial planning in East Java, which functions to plan and control regional urban planning within 20 years. After running for five years according to the initial policy planning period from 2017 – 2022, various development phenomena and spatial policies have occurred, leading to new technical regulations in forming the Regional RDTR in 2021. as a master plan. This study uses an ongoing evaluation type of policy evaluation, which intends to look at the journey side of the Blitar City RDTR policy during the first five years. The research design uses qualitative and quantitative through the matic analysis and the Likert scale, which assesses and evaluates the suitability of the Blitar City RDTR policy. The results of this research found that, in general, the Blitar City RDTR Policy is no longer relevant to be used. This is based on conformity with laws and regulations in the new technical guidelines to conformity with the realization of government programs in the last five years. For this reason, it is necessary to revise the policy formulation of Detailed Spatial Planning in Blitar City, which is more adaptive to new policy phenomena and development patterns

Kerala is one of the highest numbers of women emigrating states in India. The focal point of this study is to find out both the social and economic problems faced by women emigrants from Kerala due to Covid-19. To find out these problems, primary data were collected from women emigrants from Neendoor panchayat in Kottayam district in Kerala through snowball sampling technique. Since the problems faced by women emigrants in Gulf and developed countries are not the same due to this pandemic, this study also examines this difference

    Actor Relationship Model in Empowering Local Farmers Community Base Sustainable Development to Increase Productivity: Study of Social Interaction Between Field Extension Officers and Farmers in Rubaru District, Sumenep Regency

    This study aims to explore, analyze and describe the social interactions of empowering farmers, as well as models of actor relations in social interactions between field extension officers and farming communities in Rubaru District, Sumenep Regency in increasing their productivity. In general, the communication of empowering farmers with field extension workers has layers of problems both socially and culturally. The research provides recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of social interaction and empowering local farmers to achieve better community-based sustainable development in the Rubaru District. Furthermore, focusing on research questions a) How is the social interaction of empowering farmers in Rubaru District, Sumenep Regency in encouraging farmer productivity?; b) What is the model of actor relations in social interaction between field extension workers and farming communities in Rubaru District, Sumenep Regency in increasing their productivity?In more detail, it can be reduced to the focus of research by emphasizing a) social interactions empowering local farmers in community-based sustainable development in Rubaru District, Sumenep Regency; b) map of Community Base Sustainable Development relations; c) model of actor relations in social interaction in increasing the productivity of local farmers. This study uses the main theory of community empowerment, and supporting theories including social interaction theory, knowledge construction theory, and community awareness theory. Meanwhile, the relevant social theory in this study is the theory of social behaviors, social exchange, and social communication. The research method used is qualitative. The research location is in Rubaru District, Sumenep Madura Regency. The research informants involved were 13 people for in-depth interviews, FGDs, and observations, consisting of shallot farmers, rice farmers, farmer groups, field extension officers, agencies, and community leaders. The process of power collection and analysis includes a) data condensation, b) data presentation, c) conclusions, and d) triangulation. This research resulted in several conceptual findings, including a) Social interaction empowering local farmers in sustainable development emphasizing the concept of transfer of knowledge that is appropriate to the values of local wisdom, and self-sufficiency in farmer groups. This creates an effective multi-directed development of social communication which has an impact on increasing crop productivity. b) The model of actor relations in sustainable development underlines the empowerment of farmers through social communication based on local wisdom and Kyai patrons, facilitating the exchange of information and experiences, opening farmers' access to information, and harvest productivity development networks. The construction of knowledge and behavior in farmers creates opportunities and encourages community-based change, with supporting and inhibiting factors depending on the quality of communication between the Poktan community, PPL, and Kyai. Theoretical implications include contextual knowledge transfer of local wisdom, promotion of social communication and policies referring to patrons, integration of experience and empowerment of farmers, and information on community networks. While the practical implications are strengthening local knowledge, participatory approaches, cooperation networks, effective social communication, and increased productivity
