    Community Participation in Village Development: Social Reality Study in the Village Development Process in Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency

    The aim of this research is as follows: To describe and analyze community participation in the context of community social reality in the process of planning, implementing, utilizing and evaluating/reporting village development in Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency and to describe and analyze the factors that supporting and inhibiting community participation in the context of community social reality in the process of planning, implementing, utilizing and evaluating/reporting village development in Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency. This research uses qualitative and descriptive research methods. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation and verification (drawing conclusions). Research findings show that active community participation is the key to the success of effective and sustainable village development, in accordance with the needs and aspirations of residents. In Wandanpuro Village, participation in the Village Deliberation forum and Village Development Planning Deliberation shows the importance of community involvement in decision making, benefit generation and evaluation. This participation increases accountability, transparency and quality of development. Supporting factors for community participation include government support, financing institutions, infrastructure, strong local leadership, community awareness, local resources, and social cohesion. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of socialization, transparency, information, involvement of community leaders, coordination, budget, training, incentives, and access to information and technology. Internal factors that hinder include low awareness, interest, sense of belonging, paternalistic culture, education, skills, and the community's economic preoccupation

    Influence of Type of Marriage and Gender on Marital Satisfaction among Couples in Kumasi Metropolis, Ghana

    This study aimed at investigating the influence of type of marriage and gender on marital satisfaction among couples in Ghana. The study applied the cross-section design, and used the stratified sampling and simple random, the lottery procedure to select 576 participants for the study. The Marital Satisfaction Inventory (MSI) developed by Essuman (2010) was used to collect data on marital satisfaction and structural equation modelling was used to analyse the data collected. The study revealed that inter-ethnic marriages were more satisfied than those in intra-ethnic marriages were. Also, it was found that female spouses in inter-ethnic marriages were more satisfied than females in intra-ethnic marriages. Based on the results, it was concluded that spouses in inter-ethnic marriages enjoy satisfaction in their marriages than those in intra-ethnic. It is therefore, recommended that marriage counsellors in collaboration with pastors in the various religious organizations such as churches and mosques should focus on such variables in their pre-marital counselling and during the spouses’ marriage counselling sessions to help spice up their marriages to bring about marital satisfaction

    The Influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), Education Health, and Unemployment on The Poverty Rate in Regencies/Cities of East Nusa Tenggara Province

    This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (RGDP), length of schooling (education), life expectancy (health), and unemployment rate on the poverty rate in regencies or cities of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The method used is panel data regression, combining time series data from 22 regencies/cities and cross-sectional data from 2011 to 2022. There are three models in panel data regression: Pooled Least Squares (PLS), Fixed Effects Model (FEM), and Random Effects Model (REM). Based on the Hausman test, the model used in this research is the Random Effects Model (REM). The results of the research show that simultaneously, RGDP, education, health, and unemployment significantly influence the poverty rate. Partially, the RGDP variable and life expectancy (health) have a negative effect, while unemployment has a positive effect on the poverty rate. However, the length of schooling variable (education) does not have an influence on the poverty rate

    The Value of Inclusive Leadership, Corporate Culture, and Employee Performance in the Public Sector in Lumajang Regency of Indonesia

    The aim of this research is to describe inclusive leadership, organizational culture, and performance of civil servants in Lumajang Regency. Based on the Slovin formula with an error rate of 7%, a sample size of 179 samples was obtained. The data analysis technique is a descriptive analysis used to determine the characteristics of respondents as measured by several stated indicators (questionnaire). Frequent and average (mean) values for each indicator will be produced using descriptive analysis. The frequency values displayed include amounts and percentages. The software used for descriptive analysis is IBM Statistics SPSS 20. The research results show that leaders with openness, availability, and accessibility reflect the inclusive Leadership of Civil Servants in the Lumajang district. Organizational culture includes innovation, taking into account risks, paying attention to details, being results-oriented, team-oriented, aggressive in work, and steadiness/stability. Employee performance is reflected by quantity, quality, time, and costs. The results of this research can be used to develop knowledge in human resources in building leadership and employee performance as a basis for further research on inclusive Leadership org, organizational culture, and performance through organizational commitment

    The process of carrying out an interracial marriage often requires a process in which couples from different cultures attempt to incorporate elements of their respective cultures into their marriage. There are also social changes in marriage from various aspects in society, namely traditional norms, religious values, cultural traditions, cultural commitment and communication between nations. This research aims to describe and analyze the culture of interracial marriage in the Gampong Iboih community, Suka Makmue District, Sabang City and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of the traditional marriage culture of the Gampong Iboih community, Suka Makmue District, Sabang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-qualitative methods and case studies. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation of data sources, methods and theories. The results of this research show that the cultural processes resulting from marriage between nations are in the form of customary norms, religious values, cultural traditions, cultural commitment and communication between nations. Traditional norms are seen from the rules in society and daily life within social groups. Then religious values ??can be seen from converting to Islam before marrying into the Acehnese people. Cultural traditions in marriages between tribes are seen from habits such as mutual cooperation, clothing and food. Cultural commitment in marriage between nations, namely the agreement in marriage to make each other happy and create a harmonious family. Communication between nations in marriage is understanding the character of the couple and good communication in the household. The supporting factors for marriage between nations include openness, tolerance between both parties, flexibility, education and social support. Apart from that, several factors inhibit marriage between nations, namely different values ??and norms between husband and wife, citizenship and legal issues, and language differences

    Perum BTU Malang City is a portrait and representation of the existence of low-income people who live in residential areas with characteristics urban community, various professions and ethnicity, religion and culture/SARA identities, as well as differences in levels of preference culture and lifestyle. Usually, people with low incomes prefer to live and live in suburban villages that hold strong social ties and the values ??of mutual cooperation. However, the Perum BTU community has developed a different and unique character in realizing their socio-economic independence, through collaboration to raise Jimpitan Winih's social capital. This research seeks to explore Jimpitan Winih's contributions to socio-economic independence using a qualitative-inductive approach. The results of the research provide an overview, namely: 1) Jimpitan Winih was able to build food security and community initiatives in designing social institutions; 2) Jimpitan Winih is able to elevate the status of low-income communities and increase the added value of residential areas both in terms of social, economic and environmental responsibility even though the housing is located on the outskirts of the city; 3) Jimpitan Winih is able to bridge other social capital through increasing solidarity and social awareness and improving social relations in urban communities

    The Ie Jeulanga Gampong-Owned Enterprise (BUMG) in this case as the party that manages the Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) production business and the Jeulanga Mata Ie Gampong Government as the capital owner certainly requires in-depth research regarding the governance of the feasibility of the business or business being run so that the AMDK business development process can run effectively and can be useful for the development of the village economy. However, the implementation of BUMG is not without obstacles, there are still several problems in its implementation. Apart from that, the lack of capacity or ability of BUMG managers means that BUMG Ie Jeulanga's institutional system is not running optimally and is dependent on government assistance so there is no spirit of independence. The research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of BUMG Ie Jeulanga governance policies based on Regent Regulation Number 30 of 2020 and to determine the factors that support and hinder the governance of BUMG Ie Jeulanga. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research was carried out to find information on the impact of empowerment strategies, obstacles and solutions for BUMG Ie Jeulanga in improving the economy of the village community in Bandar Dua District, Pidie Jaya Regency. This model system regarding BUMG governance includes work plans, management aspects, business capital, human resources, and supporting and inhibiting factors for BUMG Jeulanga Mata Ie. In this research, BUMG policy implementation uses policy implementation formulated by Van Meter and Van Horn. Based on the results of data analysis, field findings, propositions and linked to theoretical studies, it can be concluded that BUMG Ie Jeulanga has significant potential for growth and development, but also faces challenges such as administrative management that has not been managed well, existing financial resources are still inadequate. fulfill the implementation of the BUMG program and so far, the human resource potential of BUMG managers is still very lacking, likely, the level of education and expertise of the staff is not in line with the job description of the AMDK production business because the majority of the residents of Gampong Jeulanga Mata Ie make their living as farmers/planters and casual daily laborers and with the establishment of the AMDK business unit by BUMG Ie Jeulanga, it is hoped that there will be employment absorption, because the level of production capacity is still limited, on average marketing is still carried out in the sub-district area

    This research is motivated by the implementation of public policy in the Outpatient Installation at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar, which was implemented to meet public health service needs. It aims to facilitate public access to services and speed up patient treatment time. They are guided by the regulations of East Java Province Regional Regulation No. 14 of 2016 concerning public services involving the community, medical personnel, and health workers in hospitals, where regulations that have been established relating to public services must be fulfilled. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Public Service Policy based on East Java Provincial Regulation Number 04 of 2016 concerning Public Services in Outpatient Installations at dr. Saiful Anwar. The second objective is to describe and analyze factors that support and hinder the implementation of the Public Service Policy based on East Java Provincial Regulation Number 04 of 2016 concerning Public Services at Outpatient Installations at dr.Saiful Anwar. Meanwhile, researchers used George Edward III's theory using indicators of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure for the theoretical basis. As an analysis step, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods. The research results show the implementation of East Java Provincial Regulation Number 04 of 2016 concerning Public Services in Outpatient Installations at Dr. RSUD. Saiful Anwar has implemented it. Its implementation shows that the communication and coordination carried out are in accordance with established procedures. The budget allocation has considered equal distribution of each required program. The readiness of resources to carry out their duties can be proven through the suitability of their performance with the primary duties and tasks that have been assigned. As well as technical socialization of activities, it has also been received by all service implementation units in outpatient installations

The object of the dispute above is two certificates of ownership rights, which cause legal uncertainty regarding the object of the dispute. Based on Article 163 of the Herziene Inland Regulations regarding the burden of proof for the party who presents an incident or denies an incident, that party must prove the incident or its denial at trial. Evidence is carried out by the parties to convince the judge of the truth of the arguments put forward. This writing aims to analyze the judge's considerations regarding the law in Decision Number 5/Pdt.G/2019/PN. Pol and legal consequences of the strength of the evidence of the disputing parties in this case. This research is normative juridical research using a statutory, conceptual, and case approach. The results of this research add to the judge's considerations. In his considerations, the judge was not yet complete regarding the strength of the parties' evidence, if seen from the land registration system by looking at the publication system. Concerning Certificates of Ownership Rights, which do not have the right to be canceled based on a final decision. Cancellation can be made based on the final decision by requesting the National Land Agency to declare the certificate number as having no legal force

    Promotion of Reproductive Tourism through Websites in India

    Reproductive tourism as one of the subsets of medical tourism is attracting substantial attention in Indian milieu and academic discourses. There are bundle of reasons for development of this particular spatial mobility wherein stakeholders have a crucial role to play. Role of every associated stakeholder in development of reproductive tourism is different in nature. Within this premise, service provider as one of the stakeholders, operating in the form of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) clinics has a pivotal part. These clinics market their services through websites and persuade prospective service users by presenting attractive tailor-made content. Role of these clinics’ websites functional in India has received less emphasis and the present study seeks to fill this academic void. Through content analysis of selected 87 ART clinics and surrogacy clinics’ websites, the present study will underline the role of websites in promotion of reproductive tourism in India. The analysis pointed that information of various nature is being displayed on the website wherein service provider views their target population in a dual patient-tourist identity. Moreover, these websites tactfully present the content having greater potential for tapping the service users and thus, contribute significantly in attracting reproductive tourists in the country
