Increasing Community Satisfaction through the Free School Transport Subsidy Program
One form of public service the community needs is transportation services. However, public transportation (city transportation) tends to be abandoned by the public due to the minimal service provided by city transportation operators. Seeing the low and uneven condition of city transportation services influences students who prefer private vehicles to go to school rather than city transportation. Many underprivileged school students need the means to use private vehicles. Besides that, the high use of private vehicles, especially motorbikes, causes increasingly high traffic violations and accidents. Responding to this phenomenon, the Pasuruan Regency Government and the Pasuruan Regency Transportation Service provided free school transportation facilities. In implementing the free school transportation service, its effectiveness needs to be measured using indicators from Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 29 of 2015, which consist of security, safety, comfort, affordability, and equality. , and regularity. Therefore, this research raises a problem formulation regarding the effectiveness of free school transportation services by the Pasuruan Regency Transportation Service. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, and it was conducted at Free School Transport using questionnaire, observation, and interview data collection techniques. The sampling technique used in this research was incidental. The sample used was 201 free school transportation passengers. Data analysis techniques used in this research include qualitative and descriptive data analysis. From the results of this research, it was concluded that the free school transportation service by the Pasuruan Regency Transportation Service was running well. However, improvements were needed in several aspects that were deemed to be lacking in service

Counterfeit and Substandard Medical Products: Zambia’s Legal Response
The presence of counterfeit and substandard Medical Products is a problem of growing concern in African countries, and Zambia has not been spared. Their use causes medical complications among patients and in some cases, death. They also add to the challenges faced by an already burdened health care system. This article explores Zambia’s regulatory framework for the control of Counterfeit and Substandard Medical Products. This study examines the extent to which the Zambian law, namely, the Medicines and Allied Substances Act, protects the general public from Substandard and Falsified Medical Products. Further, it identifies the challenges faced by the Zambian regulatory authority for pharmaceutical products, the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA), in controlling of the import, manufacture and sell of Counterfeit and Substandard Medical Products. The study adopted a qualitative research approach through a systematic review of literature. This was done by following a key word search on literature that is relevant or related to regulation of counterfeit and substandard products. The study found that the Medicines and allied Substances Act has empowered ZAMRA to protect the Zambian public from counterfeit and substandard medical products. However, it faces various challenges which include an insufficient availability of financial resources and low staffing levels. The study recommends that the Zambian government should provide incentives and policies to support investment in the pharmaceutical industry. It also recommends for an increase in the financial and human resources availed to ZAMRA, in order to solve the challenges that it faces

The Dynamics and Constraints of Regional House of Representative Councils in Implementing their Supervisory Functions
The journey of the Regional House of Representative Councils (Indonesian: Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah, abbreviated DPRD, from now on referred to as council) has gone through some dynamics in carrying out its duties and functions, along with the development of society, the government system, and the political system in Indonesia. As part of the Regional Government, DPRD has three functions: legislative function, budgetary function, and supervisory function. Supervision is the function that is most likely to be carried out optimally because the council has full authority and does not depend on other parties, such as the executive or regional head. During its implementation, the council's supervisory function experienced ups and downs. In early Indonesia’s reformation era, the council’s supervisory function was used as a means of pressure on regional heads. This could happen because, at that time, the regional head had to be responsible to the council. Based on this condition, the council's position greatly determined the regional head's sustainability. Meanwhile, as for now, the council's supervisory function is only limited to the implementation of regional legal products, which include regional regulations and regulations issued by the regional head, as well as other regulations related to the implementation of regional government. Additionally, it encompasses monitoring follow-up actions resulting from financial audit reports by the Audit Board, the consequences of which do not impact the continuity of the regional head's position. The focus of this study is limited to the dynamics of the council in carrying out its supervisory function and the obstacles it faces. This study results from normative legal research using the statute and conceptual approaches. The expected contribution of this study is, theoretically, for the advancement of legal science, particularly in the areas of constitutional law and administrative law. Also, it aims to provide insights into the components of regional governance, specifically for regional heads or regional government and particularly for DPRD. In addition, it is also expected to contribute to the provision of legal source materials, especially those related to the council's function for other researchers
