The Dynamics of Fiscal Policy Measures on Manufacturing Sector Growth: Evidence from Nigerian Economy
Get PDFThis study investigates the dynamics of fiscal policy measures on manufacturing sector output growth: evidence from Nigeria economy for the period 1981 to 2021 using the estimation technique of the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The research utilized an ex-post facto design and collected time series data from Central bank of Nigeria and National Bureau of Statistics on manufacturing sector output growth rate, economic growth rate, company income tax, tariff and government expenditure on infrastructure. The findings indicated that a negative and significant relationship exist between company income tax, tariff and the manufacturing output growth rate while a positive and significant relationship exist between government expenditure on infrastructure and manufacturing output growth rate in the long run. A positive and significant relationship exists between manufacturing output growth rate and economic growth rate. The Toda-Yamamoto causality test showed a uni-directional relationship between company income tax, government expenditure on infrastructure and manufacturing output growth . Based on this finding, the study made the following recommendation: the Federal Inland Revenue Service may consider carefully evaluating the current company income tax structure. A reduction in company income tax rates or the implementation of incentives for businesses particularly the infant industries could stimulate manufacturing growth over the long term. The federal ministry of trade and industry should assess the impact of existing trade policies. A gradual reduction in tariff rates or the implementation of trade policies that encourage manufacturing activities may contribute to long-term growth. Government should prioritize infrastructure development projects as a means to support and sustain the manufacturing sector. Policymakers should continue to support policies that promote a robust and dynamic manufacturing industry since its growth subsequently affects the economy's overall growth positively

Get PDFThe aim of this research is to analyze and describe the implementation of the DPRK's supervisory policy on the realization of the BLT program in Lhoong sub-district, Aceh Besar district and to analyze and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the DPRK's supervisory role on the realization of the BLT program in Lhoong sub-district, Aceh Besar district. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data analysis techniques using an interactive analysis process model. The results of this research indicate that the process of implementing DPRK supervision of the realization of the BLT program in Lhong District, Aceh Besar Regency prioritizes local wisdom so that the process can run well. However, regarding the supervision procedures of the Aceh Besar DPRK, it seems that this is still not the case because the mechanism is tentative and preventive because it is only carried out during initial planning and is not accompanied by a standard schedule
Impact of Non-Performing Assets on Profitability of Indian Banks- An Empirical Analysis
Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between rising non-performing assets and profit rate of banks by conducting an empirical estimation of the factors influencing the profitability of Indian scheduled commercial banks for the period 2004-05 to 2021-22. A collection of macroeconomic and bank-specific explanatory variables have been used to determine the profitability determinants. The current paper employs panel regression model for three ownership banks—public sector banks, private sector banks, and foreign banks in India—for analytical purposes. Based on the assessment of panel data from all public, private, and foreign sector banks, we discovered that the rate of profit is negatively impacted by the rise in non-performing assets. Profitability is also found to be inversely correlated with bank size, inflation rate, and operating efficiency. The panel regression model's estimates indicate that the GDP growth rate, interest rate, net-interest margin, secured advances, capital adequacy, interest rate, and diversification of income have all favourably impacted Indian banks' profit rates during the study period

The implementation of Zoning-Based Student Admissions (PPDB Zonasi) at SMA Negeri 3 Malang significantly impacts four educational participant quadrants: school management, teachers, students, and parents. This policy challenges and opportunities across educational, economic, and sociocultural aspects. School management must adapt policies, emphasizing character building and academic mentoring programs. Teachers face diverse academic competencies, requiring personalized and reward-based approaches. Students experience increased academic competition and sociocultural diversity, necessitating adaptation and support. Parents benefit from reduced transport costs but face financial and social concerns. Overall, a holistic, adaptive approach is essential to ensure equitable, quality education for all students

Sustainability is much more important at present to save the natural resources of the planet. Sustainable agriculture is nothing but a successful supervision of resources to satisfy the changing human requirements by enhancing the quality of environment and conserving natural resources. Davinder Singh, et al (2018) defined “ Organic farming as a system of production that trusts on animal manures, organic wastes, crop rotations, legumes and aspects of biological pest control that are not strange to agriculture systems including the traditional agricultural practices. However, uses of pesticides and fertilizers impede the growth and development of organic production system. It is the management production system that promotes and improves biodiversity, biological cycles and biological activity of the soil. Thus, making the soil capable of supplying all the essential nutrients to the crop for its proper growth and development.
Organic farming is a production system which avoids or largely excludes the use of synthetic fertilizers and growth regulators. To the maximum extent, viable organic farming systems rely on crop rotations, crop residues, animal manures, legumes, green manures, off farm organic wastes and aspects of biological pest control. These practices result in maintaining soil productivity and in supplying plant nutrients and controlling insect pest diseases and weeds. Thus, the organic farming implies recycling of waste and residue to the local soil itself, replenishing the nutrients exhausted from the soil during the crop growth by encouraging the development of microorganisms. So, it helps in maintaining soil health by balancing soil moisture and soil aeration as well as in ensuring soil fertility by firmly binding the nutrient elements in compound organic molecules
Correlation of Administrative Services and Pharmacy Services to BPJS Patient Satisfaction
Get PDFIntroduction: According to Director Decree No. 4 Year 2009 the Hospital requires high support and commitment to achieve quality primary care for BPJS health patients. One way to assess the success of a hospital with good quality is to increase patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction of BPJS patients with health services, especially in administration and pharmacy waiting time. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach, especially an observational analytical design to investigate the hypotheses formulated and identify potential relationships between variables this study design uses sectional scores with questionnaires of 103 respondents who are members of BPJS Health patients. Results: Based on the satisfaction the level of BPJS patient satisfaction in each dimension of reliability was 70.4%, comprehension was 71.6%, the guarantee was 73.6%, physical evidence was 69.4%, and empathy was 73.8%. Conclusion: patient satisfaction in hospital health services in terms of administrative services was 89.3%, BPJS patient services in terms of pharmacy 89.1%, and those who stated relatively fast waiting time 64.1%

However, over the past 50 years, sporting events have increasingly become targets for terrorist attacks, posing significant security challenges. To explore this issue, we conducted an integrative review, viewing terrorism at sporting events as an ecosystem with various elements and interactions. Our goals were threefold: to evaluate terrorist attacks at major sporting events since the 1972 Olympics, analyzing terrorists' communication strategies, and to identify trends for detecting and preventing terrorism. Our findings contribute to unraveling the complexities surrounding the motivations of perpetrators, the vulnerabilities of the sporting environment, and the effectiveness of counterterrorism measures. In essence, it is a comprehensive examination that seeks to enhance knowledge, inform policy, and contribute to the development of strategies aimed at ensuring the safety and security of sporting events

Within the scope of the Indonesian National Army, the Indonesian state army commander as leader issued indonesian state army Commander Regulation Number 65 of 2019 concerning the construction of an Integrity Zone Towards RegionCorruption Free and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area within the Indonesian state army. All units must implement this policy under the authority of the Indonesian state army Commander. Air Squadron 32 is the unit that participates in implementing this policy. This research explains and analyzes the policy implementation process of Indonesian state army Commander Regulation Number 65 of 2019 within the 32nd Air Squadron environment, along with the influencing factors and efforts to overcome the obstacles. This research is descriptive qualitative research, carried out in several stages, supported by four main factors: competency and ability of personnel, infrastructure, systems and organizational culture. The research results show that the policy implementation process at Air Squadron 32 refers to high standards of integrity, provides a clear, directed, structured framework, and is a standard that must be adhered to to build an environment free from corruption, collusion and nepotism. By paying comprehensive attention to supporting and inhibiting factors, Air Squadron 32 can overcome obstacles and strengthen supporting factors in implementing the Development of the Integrity Zone, thereby creating a clean, transparent and integrity environment. Efforts to overcome obstacles include carrying out additional training and collaborating with educational institutions to increase personnel resource capabilities, as well as collaborating with several agencies to procure infrastructure that is deemed inadequate
Formulation of Non-Penal Policy in Handling Narcotics Crimes

The rise in deviant behavior in the younger generation could endanger the survival of this nation in the future. The type of research is normative legal research with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The types of legal materials used are primary and secondary legal materials. The research results show that prevention through non-penal channels focuses more on preventive properties before a crime occurs. Efforts to combat crime through non-penal channels are more of a preventive measure against crime, so the main target is to address the factors conducive to crime. In efforts to prevent narcotics crimes, it is necessary to intensify education about the dangers of narcotics through mass media such as newspapers, magazines, the internet, social networks (Facebook, Twitter) and others so that community members are aware of the great dangers of narcotics, so that every family can make prevention efforts within the family. In this case, in the last few years, Indonesia has taken steps towards both penal and non-penal approaches in dealing with narcotics problems. However, the implementation and effectiveness of this policy still require further evaluation to ensure that it is successful in the long term
Typeface Design of Watu Krus in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara
Get PDFIndonesia is a country rich in culture. This culture becomes a habit that sticks and is passed down from generation to generation. The inherent culture forms an identity or identity for the Indonesian people. East Nusa Tenggara is one of the regions in Indonesia, especially the eastern part. One of the districts in East Nusa Tenggara is Sikka District. Sikka Regency has a capital city, Maumere. Sikka Regency is famous for various cultural tourism, religious tourism and marine tourism. Of the many tourist attractions in Sikka Regency, spiritual tourism is one of the tourist choices. One of the famous religious attractions is Watu Krus or what is often called the cross stone. One effort to preserve culture related to the Watu Krus or Cross Stone symbol can be through exploring the shape of the letters. In this design, the focus is on display typefaces or displays so that in the future the typeface will be more suitable for use as the main presentation. Based on the background that has been found, the problem formulation in designing this typeface adapts the Watu Krus symbol into a new typeface that carries the spirit of the archipelago. Designing this typeface opens up opportunities for widespread application of typefaces in supporting media such as posters, books, etc
