Political Empowerment of Women in Punjab: A Case Study of General Elections 2013 And 2018
Nearly half of the world’s population is women. Only 15% of women are represented in the legislature. Only 12 countries have women holding 33% or more of the seats in parliament (UNDP Report). Punjab is the most populous province in Pakistan. Compared with other provinces, women’s participation in the political process is relatively high. The main purpose of this research is to analyze in detail the changing nature of women's politics in the traditional society of Punjab, Pakistan in the last two general elections in 2013 and 2018.There was an increase in the number of women contesting for general seats in the 21st century, particularly in the 2013 and 2018 General Elections. Women play major roles as Speaker of the National Assembly, Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, a woman minister presenting the yearly budget, Ambassador, and so on. The single component of the general elections in 2013 and 2018, the story was refuted domestically and globally, that either women are hesitant to enter mainstream politics or are not taking on electoral politics obligations at the local, provincial, or national levels. Gender equality and women's political involvement, on the other hand, are still necessary internationally on the basis of equality with males. It will take time to transform the political structure of a society that follows centuries-old customs and patterns, as it does in Pakistan. However, the good aspect is that in Pakistan, the process of political reform in terms of women's participation in state activities has already begun

HUNDUTVA POLITICS AND GUJARAT MASSACRE
The "Hindustainsm" or "Hindu nationalism" is based on the Hundutva (Hinduness) idelogy, which is the quest for transforming the nature, makeup and basic ethos of the Indian society, under the supremacy of Hinduism. It emphasizes that the national identity of every Indian citizen, irrespective of his/her religion or faith is inseparable from the core Indian religious identity, exclusively based or Hinduism. In other words, Hindu philosophy etymologically connects words Hindu and India. A person is not a Hindu until he believes in India as a holy land. It maintains that every Indian is a Hindu because Hinduism or Hindu culture is the common thread running through the Indian society. The Hindutva philosophy automatically excludes all minorities and thus generates hatred against the non-Hindus

Its own settlers were bestowed with all basic necessities and economicresources and did not need to cross their boundaries and invade the region beyond it. Though Central Asia was poor in economic resources till Russian imperialism but it appeared as a strong political power that conquered the world in all direction, North, South, East and West, and established their strength all over the neighborhood such as India, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, China, Mongolia, and even Europe. So it was from ancient times that Central Asiaestablished its relation over middle of the portion of the globe connecting south, east, west Asia and Europe and left its socio-cultural and economic impact on the world. The object of this paper is to analyze the impact of Central Asian Muslim rulers on the Indian sub-continent particularly with reference to their socio-cultural and economic impact. Factors Shaping Pakistan-Iran Relations: Past, Present and Prospects for Future
Iran and Pakistan enjoyed cordial relations before the Islamic revolution in Iran,Iran and Iraq War and Soviet led invasion of Afghanistan. Today both countriesare not at daggers drawn with each other but relations between them have beenmarked by mistrust, competition and even hostility at times. This is owing todivergent interests of Pakistan and Iran in the region, cross border terrorism, sectarianism, varying economic interests, and conflicting partners in international domain. The future of Pakistan’s relation with Iran would continue to be influenced by the regional and international scenario. The relations between both neighbors can deepen and solidify if Pakistan tries to balance its relation with Saudi Arabia and Iran as both countries continue to be of utmost importance for Pakistan. In doing so, an effort should be made on the part of Pakistan to refrain from entering the conflicts which have been initiated and supported by these rival countries. Cooperation in trade and energy has the potential to improve the relations between Pakistan and Iran. Iran and Pakistan relations are likely to increase in the future because of their geographical proximity, cultural and religious values
