Get PDFA proverb is a language that conveys an ancient meaning. This proverb has been in vogue since the time of Tholkappiar. The proverb is the language of experience of the ancients. Such experiences are acquired in abundance in the countryside. The experiential languages thus obtained are capable of interpreting the literal meaning of words according to the situation. Kanmani Gunasekaran has used proverbs wherever necessary so that too much narration does not come in the way of the flow of the story. The use of proverbs shows the economy of words of the people. In some places, the proverb goes along with the spoken language in his short stories. There is no literature of the present day without a mixture of words from other languages. Kanmani Gunasekaran, like other writers, has used words from other languages in the middle of the story. However, in his short stories, there is a significant use of foreign words. The use of foreign words is very helpful in understanding the literacy of the living people. The author did not impose foreign words on his style. The language of his short stories, therefore, is more or less similar to that of the folk people. In this way, the author has recorded the words of other languages spoken in his short stories. Sangam Era Marriage in Anthropological Perspective

Therefore, only explanations given by grammar and literature cannot provide sufficient information while studying the life of human beings in society. It can be known by understanding the people of the Sangam period that the Sangha people lived the life of an ethnic group. However, they do not follow the ritual system of marriage. It was only after the arrival of the Aryans that the system of marriage came into existence. They divided it into eight numbers. Ilampuranar suggests that among them Gandharva marriage is for Tamil people. Answers and proofs for this are available in Sangam literary hymns when studying the evolution of man through anthropology. It can be seen from the outside that certain rituals were followed in the wars. Therefore, Sangam people who shaped their lifestyles based on internal life rather than war, were either married, robbed or chastised. Tirukkural explains the basic qualities necessary for humans to live harmoniously in their inner lives and to live with pleasure, harmony, and well-being in their outer lives. Similarly, the verrumai urupu is an important element in Tamil grammar. Tolkappiyar defines verrumai urupu as eight. In such verrumai urupu, the third verrumai urupu has five terms. Its karutta or karuvipporul consists of two terms, al and an. Both are synonymous. The Utanikalccip consists of three terms, oṭu, ōṭu and uṭaṉ. All three give the same meaning. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to identify and explain the use of different forms of oṭu and ōṭu in tirukkural. This study was carried out with a qualitative approach. In this way, this research has been carried out in a descriptive approach using books, and research articles suitable for library research. All information has been analyzed based on the objective of the study. The research data has been classified according to the purpose of the study and analyzed in the text analysis method. Based on that, 1330 tirukkural 24 kural oṭu and ōṭu found An explanation is also given for the eight kural selected in it.
