    Akhtar Usman is a renowned name of modern Urdu poem. He is a representative of classical traditions and also a guardian and bearer of new style. He is aware of the art of protecting himself from the flaws and shortcomings of the modern style because of his study about classical traditions of poetry. Due to deep insight of classic, Akhtar’s intellectual structure is energetic and stable. He successfully saves the ground from the process of poetry destruction in the name of innovation. Even if he composes a poem on a traditional topic, he maintains innovation and presents it in such a way that traditionalism does not overwhelm the subtlety of the poem. “Malhaar” is a traditional topic of Urdu and Hindi poetry. The tendency to create poems on the themes of ragas and raginis, combining the imaginative system of poems and songs with the visual perception of ragas is observed in Akhtar’s poetry that shows his musicology. Poetry and music are quite similar to each other in terms of their artistic compositional elements. Akhtar presents music in poetry in a unique style that is a combination of tradition and modernity. His poem under the title of “Malhaar” is an example of such poetry. This article is based on the stylistics used in “Malhaar”. The article compresses the tone of the poem, its lyrics and comprehension under the consequences of stylistics

    Relationship Between the Anthropometric Measurements and Flexibility among Adolescent Cricket and Football Sport Participants

    Anthropometric parameters are the quantitative methods that are more commonly applied to measure, record, and analyze a wide range of human structural measurements for establishing the size, form, proportion, and composition of humans. Flexibility is one of the important factors of healthful living and also a basic constituent of athletic performance. Understanding this relationship helps in tailoring training programs to enhance performance and reduce injury risks in young athletes. The present study explains the relation between anthropometric measurements. A sample of 94 adolescent sports participants were approached from which 30 football players and 64 cricket players were considered for the research study. The statistical technique correlation determined the association of the variables. The coefficient of correlation indicates a negative association between all anthropometric measurements with the sit and reach test, except for abdominal circumference, which is not significantly related. Shoulder hyperextension exhibits a negative insignificance with trunk length and a positive insignificance with other anthropometric measurements. Trunk hyperextension flexibility exhibits a non-significant negative correlation with all anthropometric parameters, except for trunk length, which demonstrates a substantial association with Arm length. All anthropometric measurements, except abdomen circumference, show a negative correlation with the sit-and-reach test, while shoulder hyperextension negatively correlates with trunk length but positively correlates with other measures, and no significant correlation exists between trunk length and other anthropometric measurements except for its negative association with trunk hyperextension flexibility

    "The Spiritual Discipline of Fasting: A Comparative Exploration in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam"

    Fasting is considered an important worship ritual in Abrahamic religions which teaches moral discipline, sacrifice, repentance and devotion to God. This study highlights the objectives as well as historical, ritualistic and theological aspects of fasting. It also explores the similarities and differences among these traditions in order to observe this practice. Torah and rabbinic tradition provide the foundations of fasting in Judaism. These teachings highlight repentance and communal mourning by significant fasts like Yom Kippur. Christianity connects fasting to solidarity with Christ’s AS suffering and spiritual preparation, mostly prominently observed during Lent. In Islam, fasting primarily observed in the month of Ramadan along with voluntary fasting which can be observed throughout the year excluding Eid days. The objective of fasting in Islam is to develop spiritual purity, community solidarity, physical discipline and charity. This is a qualitative research which is based on secondary sources; books, articles and online sources. A comparative analysis highlights the shared themes, spiritual renewal and empathy. It also highlights the comprehensiveness of Islamic fasting and its global impact. Fasting helps people to develop piousness, empathy with poor and sacrifice of wishes for the sake of God in Abrahamic faiths

    Islam is a law and code of living for His servants from the Creator and Master of this universe. Islam offers solutions to the problems faced by humans in life. It is an inspired system in terms of social, political and government. Along with this system, the orders and principles are derived from the book revealed by Allah Almighty, the Holy Qur\u27an, and the Sunnah and Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Islam is the best rule of life and a torch for the people who will come to doomsday. The principles of leadership laid down by Islam are the best principles in this world. Leadership is a great responsibility for the rights and service of the people under it. It is the responsibility of the leadership to face the problems and challenges and find the solution strategically. Take care of the safety and needs of its subordinates. Sincere, competent and true leadership plays a fundamental role in development and prosperity. How should a leader be and what qualities should he have and what are the responsibilities of a leader? All this has been openly and clearly stated by Islam.       Research-based review   of the development and promotion of Islamic jurisprudence (Ilm al-Fiqh) in   Balochistan during the twentieth century   reveals that this century was truly a golden era for the growth and advancement of Islamic Fiqh. During this period, Fiqh achieved remarkable progress in the   fields of teaching, education, research, and writing. The Fuqaha of this century wrote invaluable books on Fiqh, produced detailed   commentaries and annotations   on classical juristic texts, and compiled   comprehensive collections of legal verdicts (Fatawa). These efforts not only fulfilled the   religious needs of Muslim society, but also greatly contributed to the   promotion of Islamic sciences and religious literature in local languages. The jurists of this era left behind numerous   manuscripts and scholarly works   that now stand as a   lasting intellectual and juristic heritage, forming a rich source of knowledge. it remains our   religious and national duty   to introduce, preserve, and disseminate it. The Ulama wrote important works in   Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Pashto, Balochi, and Brahui   on a variety of subjects and disciplines.     A well-functioning family comprises of the husband\u27s parents and blood relatives in addition to the couple and their offspring, according to this definition of a family. The fact that a strong family structure is necessary for the existence of a robust social structure suggests the importance of the home. Any nation\u27s progress is dependent on this institution. A weakened family structure can lead to the disappearance of human conduct, social responsibility consciousness, and belief in one\u27s place in society. Marriage is regarded as both a holy institution and a complex legal structure governed by a range of customs and laws in many cultures and religions. Marriage is viewed under Muslim law as a civic contract between a male and a female. We\u27ll look at Muslim law\u27s current perspectives on second marriages and whether they are permissible. In Islam, the subject of second marriage is intricate and steeped in history. The legal processes pertaining to women\u27s rights in divorce and remarriage safeguard.     The relationship between husband and wife is such a beautiful bond that was first formed not only on the earth but on heaven. From which many relationships were born. Ever since this relationship has appeared in the world, it has to face many ups and downs. A new relationship emerges from the union of two different families. In which both husband and wife have to face a lot of patience and tolerance. This point of married life sometimes goes up and down while correcting the eyelid because it is said that there is a fight, there is also love. The silence of the husband and wife makes and spoils this relationship. Our poets have also tried their best to convey the tension in this relationship to the reader in terms of humor, thanks to these active members of the society. The interlude in the book makes the readers happy as well as thought-provoking. Despite being monotonous, it exudes an element of charm.     Zahida Hina is a renowned Urdu fiction writer who has carved out a distinctive place for herself in contemporary literature. She has successfully shielded her work from the negative influences often associated with modern Urdu fiction while deftly incorporating the global and domestic contexts of her time into her short stories. She focus on history and politics in her fictions speacilly she made major part of her conscience to world politics.  Her literary contributions extend beyond mere storytelling; her works serve as a mirror reflecting the tumultuous and often harsh realities of her time. Her stories frequently explore existential themes such as helplessness, despair, loneliness, fear, non-identity, anxiety, and death. This is largely because, from a young age, she was exposed to her elders\u27 accounts of significant historical events such as the two world wars, the French Revolution, the Partition of India, and 9/11. These experiences profoundly influenced her, leading to the emergence of existential philosophy in her short stories.     Most people do not know that before the British East India Company took over, India was the economically strongest country in the world during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir (1616-1707). India used to generate a one fourth of the world\u27s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while Britain\u27s share was just 2% during the same period. The lands of India were fertile and rich in all types of resources. Indian people were skilled and hardworking. Cotton cloth and muslin were in demand all over the world. Whereas India had no equal in the steel and shipbuilding industries. But the entire senenario changed after the Battle of Plassey and when the British left India in 1947, unlike Alexander, their cradles were full and India\u27s hands were empty. The occupation of Bengal by the British after the Battle of Plassey, was actually the beginning of the industrial revolution which changed the world scenario completely.     Exploring the Abyss: A Study on Secondary Schools Students’ Burnout in Rawalpindi

    This study aimed to assess the levels of burnout among secondary school students, focusing on emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and academic efficacy sub constructs of burnout. The design of the study was descriptive and survey methos was used to collect the data. Data were collected through a seven points Likert scale questionnaire. The study found that students of 9th grade reported a consistent level of burnout, with slightly higher burnout in academic efficacy than emotional exhaustion. cynicism had the lowest mean score, indicating lower disinterest in studies. These findings suggest that early intervention and support for secondary school students may be necessary to mitigate potential burnout and its effects on academic performance and well-being
