Principles and procedure of advertising in the context of Shariah

The paper looks at the principles and practices of advertisement in the light of Shariah, stressing that its ethical limits must be honored according to the Islamic law. It acknowledges the media as a potent tool for advertising businesses but also considers its potential ill effects on society. Shariah does allow advertising as a means to increase trade, but it has to be within the limits of ethics and not against the religious boundary lines. Some of such issues which have appeared in modern-day advertisement include exaggeration, lying, advertisement of obscenity, and advertising unlawful or harmful products. The paper argues that exaggeration of the characteristics of a commodity misled the consumer and violates principles of Islam. Claims about the attributes of a commodity, which are often deceitful in advertisement, are consequently furthered as something unethical because they will disrupt the basis of trust and harm the social fabric. Moreover, advertisement contents using obscene imagery have been criticized for especially ruining the moral fabric of society, especially among young people. The paper also condemns promoting forbidden things in Islam, such as gambling and liquor, even when referred to as cooperation with sin. The Quranic authoritative book strictly forbids any involvement in such practices. Shariah-compliant advertising promotes restraint and has a minimalist approach, with no intention of advancing luxury and decadence. The lavished expense on advertisements is also subject to scrutiny since it would inflate the prices and consequently burden the consumer. So, ethical advertisements in consonance with Islamic practice should promote products truthfully and avoid obscenity and well-being of community. It concludes with a call to those in the advertising industry to uphold moral responsibility, as, while promoting business is required, it shall be performed within the boundaries of Shariah so as not to harm the society and have spiritual consequenc

Allah Almighty has sent man to this world for testing. When man is born, he is very weak and devoid of knowledge of everything. As time goes on he understands things and he learns from his parents and society. The responsibility of tomorrow\u27s society will fall on the shoulders of today\u27s children. As children are trained, tomorrow they will become members of the same society. The future of the society and the Muslim Ummah depends on the good training of children. They will be obedient to their parents, will be their good support and will continue to be a charity. Just as a field or a tree is cared for, so a crop or fruit bears. This is how training children works. If the children are well trained, they will become good and useful members of the society. If they are not properly trained they will not prove to be good members of the society but at the same time they will be no less of a problem for their parents. Parents must educate their children according to Islamic principles. In this day and age, everyone wants their children to be good and noble, but there is a dearth of those who strive for it or train them accordingly. Due to blind love of children, parents neglect good training due to idleness. Their religious and moral training is ignored. They are happy to include their children in today\u27s modern society. Ignore the deterioration of the offspring from the beginning. Later it becomes impossible to correct. Training children is an important duty of parents. Good children are a great blessing and trust of Allah Almighty. Islam places great emphasis on the training of children. Much guidance has been given in the Qur\u27an and the sayings and biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding the training of children. The life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is a great example for training children. By training children in the light of Seerat-un-Nabavi, good people of the society and the best people of the Muslim Ummah can be produced. This article is written about the training of children in the light of Islamic teachings especially Seerat -ur-Rasool

This article revolves around the inspiration from Literary Heritage in the novel "Sajjad Ajami" (2013) by the Syrian author of the new generation, Shahla Al-Ujaili. It is a heritage-inspired novel from the Abbasid era, highlighting the achievements and prosperity of Muslims during that period. The research begins with an introduction emphasizing the importance of the topic, as it urges modern readers to familiarize themselves with the authenticity of heritage language and to use its ancient style instead of the modern and foreign features that have increased in the novel over time, distancing the readers from the authentic Arabic sources flowing from Al-Qur\u27an, the Hadith, and Arabic poetry. The research also presents the definitions and theoretical types of inspiration. The following pages delve into the study of inspiration through the insertion of poetry and the quotation of religious texts within narrative models, followed by the most important research findings

اسلام کے نظام طہارت میں تیسیر :احادیث مبارکہ کی روشنی میں: EASINESS IN ISLAM\u27S SYSTEM OF PURIFICATION: IN THE LIGHT OF THE AHADITH

    No full text
Islam has provided its adherents with several directives for guidance, but it has also provided different means of carrying out these directives. Islam has commanded Muslims to follow the simplest path in both religious and worldly matters and has made the implementation of religious commandments subject to their power and capacity. It also forbids working in a restricted and rigorous manner. Many compromises have been made, particularly in the area of achieving purity, as every Muslim must achieve purity for their five daily prayers. To ensure that Muslims do not experience hardship or inconvenience when adhering to religious orders, numerous accommodations and exemptions have been granted in matters of purity throughout the Quran and Hadith, where it is mandated to attain and maintain purity. Being friendly and easy going with the people was something the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) himself enjoyed doing, and he also taught his companions to do the same. The identical Shariah rights that Islam has granted its adherents have been examined in this essay

The evolution of currency systems has been integral to human civilization, initially rooted in the exchange of goods and gradually transitioning to the introduction of currency for facilitating trade. This transition was driven by the necessity to fulfill basic needs efficiently. However, various challenges led to the emergence of metallic currencies, notably coins, as a preferred medium of exchange. Gold and silver coins gradually became prevalent, yet in some regions, certain commodities retained their status as quasi-currencies. Subsequently, the dominance of coins waned as paper currency emerged, initially coexisting with coins but eventually supplanting them due to various factors. Today, fiat currency reigns supreme globally, owing to its ease of exchange. The control and issuance of currency are crucial responsibilities, but the question arises: who holds the authority, the government or the broader society? This article examines this question from an Islamic perspective, incorporating insights from scholars to shed light on the matter. Overall, this research explores the historical trajectory of currency systems, from barter to fiat, and delves into the Islamic viewpoint regarding currency control and issuance, contributing to a deeper understanding of this critical aspect of economic systems
