The purpose of the described research was to identify the impact of different types of environmental innovations on sustainable organizational performance of companies operating in Denmark. The research considered four types of environmental innovations: process, product, organizational and marketing and sustainable performance in three areas: economic, social, and environmental. The research methodology involved a survey of 338 Danish companies, using a validated questionnaire, which provided data on their implementation of different types of environmental innovations and their sustainable performance in three basic areas: economic, environmental, and social. Three regression models were built to verify the theoretical relationship between different types of environmental innovations and sustainable performance. The results showed that all four types of environmental innovations have a positive impact on sustainable performance. Detailed analysis showed that organizational innovations as well as process innovations support organizational performance in all three areas. The article also pointed out the limitations of the research conducted and directions for future research. The purpose of the described research was to identify the impact of different types of environmental innovations on sustainable organizational performance of companies operating in Denmark. Przebieg i wyniki prac kodyfikacyjnych w II Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej nad ochroną autorskich praw osobistych, w tym po śmierci twórcy

The author first presents the history of the codification of copyright in the Second Republic of Poland, a task entrusted to the Codification Commission and then further work on the Act in the Sejm and the Senate. These resulted in the Act of 29 March 1926 on copyright, based on the dualist theory, according to its original formulation by the main author of the Act, Professor Fryderyk Zoll junior of the Jagiellonian University. In the article, the focus is on the essence of the construction of moral rights in the Polish Act. It is highlighted that it applies the French model, in which the author’s moral right exists in perpetuity, different from the German model, based on the assumption that moral rights expire with the expiration of the author’s economic right (monistic theory). Another important feature of the French model, which was adopted by the Polish legislator, was the inalienability of the author’s moral rights, having in the Germanic model a significant deviation in terms of inheritance law. The premise of the 1926 Copyright Act was also the impossibility of waiving author’s moral rights, although an exception to this was admitted by Frederick Zoll in the doctrine. The position of the Polish Act was thus characterised in this respect as different from the legislation allowing for the waiver of moral rights, which does not result in the divestment of a personal copyright, but only makes it unenforceable. One of the most disputed issues during the work on the Act in the Codification Committee of the Second Republic of Poland, which had its finale in the amendment of the Copyright Act of 1935, was the protection of the author’s moral rights after the author’s death. This is an interesting research problem, all the more so because the Polish projects were pioneering in this respect in the international arena. Against the background of the general concept of moral rights, the author presents the polemics waged by Polish scholars-codifiers on moral rights after the death of the author. He points out the originality of the developed juridical solutions and some of their weaknesses, mainly related to the evolution of views among the codifiers

Wykroczenia przeciw mieniu na przykładzie Prawa o wykroczeniach z 1932 roku w świetle orzecznictwa Sądu Najwyższego

The article presents a dispute over the model of codification of misdemeanor law in Poland in the interwar period in the Criminal Law Section of the Codification Commission. It indicates that the 1932 misdemeanor law was a compromise solution, covering the most common misdemeanors, subjected in the first instance to the jurisdiction of authorized administrative bodies. Its Chapter VI covered offenses against property. They had a modern, synthetic character. Using them as an example, the role of the Supreme Court’s jurisprudence in correctly qualifying the perpetrator’s behavior as either a misdemeanor or a misdemeanor against property from the Criminal Code was demonstrated. This is because the Supreme Court assessed in cassation proceedings whether the perpetrator’s behavior exhausted the elements described in Articles 54–63 of the Misdemeanor Law or fell under the relevant provision of the Penal Code

The article presents Martial’s epigrams nos. 4.4 and 6.93, which form a mini-cycle. They share a common topic, the same motifs and an analogical form of a priamel. In both poems the bad scent of the protagonist (Bassa and Thais) is compared to other unpleasant smells. Among these comparisons there are certain recurring odours: sulphur, fish, goat, leather, dyed material and bad breath. The epigram 4.4 is built as a synthetic priamel, 6.93 is an analytical one. The comparison of this pair of epigrams with another mini-cycle 3.65 and 11.8 lead the author the conclusion that Martial imitates his earlier poems in the ones written later. This phenomenon may be called a peculiar imitatio et aemulatio. The article presents Martial’s epigrams nos. 4.4 and 6.93, which form a mini-cycle. „Czu d[er] towfil”. More about the Annunciation with the Unicorn Polyptych from the St. Elisabeth’s Church in Wrocław, its foundation and creators

The article discusses the circumstances of the commissioning and execution of an altarpiece for the St. Elisabeth’s Church in Wroclaw, identified with the Annunciation with the Unicorn Polyptych, on the basis of assumptions formulated in the previous literature on the subject. Basing on archival records in the form of accounts kept during the fundraising, the author attempts to reconstruct the chronology and method of financing the commission and to identify those involved in the undertaking. In order to complete the picture of the processes accompanying collective commissions, the conclusions of this analysis are juxtaposed with the results of research on contracts for the creation of altar retables from the second half of the 15th c., preserved in Silesia. The question of the identity of the group of founders, whose anonymous images were placed on one of the painted sections of the retable, and the question of the ideological function of their anonymous collective portrait are also addressed

In the 21st century, within Slovenian culture, new phenomena such as “Balkan culture” and the “čefur” subculture have emerged, which are also reflected in film. In Slovenian film production of the last two decades, there is a noticeable presence of a certain form of “Balkanness”, which essentially stems from Yugoslav and post-Yugoslav relations. The creators of Slovenian films of the years 2000–2020 not only integrate and build upon the components of this new Slovenian “Balkan culture” but also establish its canon. This article attempts to identify the phenomenon of this specific “Balkanness” in Slovenian narrative film of the first two decades of the 21st century
