Tematyka wypowiedzi informacyjno-sprawozdawczych w rosyjskojęzycznych listach przesyłanych na okolicznościowych kartach pocztowych w drugiej połowie XX wieku
In this article I aim to analyze Russian informative and reporting utterances which were used in the texts sent on postcards in the second half of the 20th century. Descriptive statements accompanying Russian wishes sent on postcards have not been the subject of comprehensive linguistic studies so far, therefore their examination may contribute to supplementing the knowledge about short epistolary texts, in particular about the topics covered in this type of correspondence in the analyzed period. The research concerns the location of the descriptive statements in the structure of letters as well as their subject matter and functions. The study leads to the conclusion that some of the observed phenomena may have a cultural, psychological and/or sociolinguistic background.
Analiza językowa i źródłowa pomorskich druków ulotnych z lat 1945–1948 dotyczących gastronomii
In the aftermath of the Second World War the re-emerging food service industry relied on leaflets and other ephemeral prints to reach out to its clients. They utilized various linguistic, graphical and typographic means of persuasion. The article presents the results a liguistic and source-based analysis of the postwar leaflets, posters and invitations used in the food service and entertainment industries. The research encompassed the ways of depicting space, time, the sender and the most frequently utilized lexemes that impacted on the persasiveness of the messages. The analysis shows that the manufacturers of the prints did not rely solely on their pre-war experience in the field, but also strived for new ways of attracting their recipients. In 1947 the authorities began to shut down private ownership, and thus advertising was replaced with propaganda.

Essential elements of a city offer addressed to digital nomads: The perspective of territorial marketing
The digital nomad lifestyle has become one of the fastest-growing trends in the labor market in recent years. Digital nomads, people settling in a city as its residents for several months before changing their location again, are active consumers of the city’s offer, which profits the host territorial unit. This specific group of customers requires designing a separate communication of the city offer, increasing the probability of choosing a given city as the next destination. The article aims to identify the significant elements of the city’s offer from the perspective of digital nomads. These data were collected based on the literature (scoping review method) and then summarized. The author identified key aspects related to the expectations of nomads towards the destination and the barriers encountered during the stay. The digital nomad lifestyle has become one of the fastest-growing trends in the labor market in recent years. Strengthening digital transformation in adult education organisations
Social inclusion is an important aspect of any society as it helps to create a sense of belonging and togetherness. It allows individuals to form meaningful relationships with others, while enabling them to make a meaningful contribution to their local communities. Social inclusion has many benefits that can help improve the well-being of both the included and the excluded. One of the benefits of social inclusion is increased access to resources such as education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and other basic needs that may be difficult or impossible for some people to access without community or peer support.
By providing these resources through community programmes like mentoring initiatives or job training, individuals are more likely to succeed than if they were left on their own without the help of others. Additionally, this support often leads to improved mental health outcomes due to increased self-esteem. Another benefit associated with social inclusion is the reduction of stigma around certain problems, such as poverty or homelessness, by promoting understanding between different social groups. When members of marginalised groups are able to participate fully in mainstream activities, they feel accepted despite their differences from the majority of society, leading to greater empathy on both sides.
This article presents experiences from the project Empower adult educators to support digital social inclusion 2022-1-PL01-KA220-ADU-000088404 [DigIN Project], which aims to improve the capacity of educators and adult education organisations to support them in becoming active users of technology.Social inclusion is an important aspect of any society as it helps to create a sense of belonging and togetherness. Kodeks Duński króla Chrystiana V („Danske Lov”) z 1683 roku. Jego miejsce w dziejach europejskich kodyfikacji czasów nowożytnych
The Code of King Christian V (Danske Lov) issued in 1683 definitively abolished the previous particularism, introducing unity of law throughout the Danish monarchy. Many historians argue that the creation of the DL represented the greatest and most permanent work of the absolute Danish monarchy, introduced at the beginning of the second half of the 17th century. Until then, Denmark had no uniform law, which was getting increasingly burdensome. For this reason, King Frederick III, when implementing the actual changes to the political system and establishing the new legal principles for the organisation of the state, was forced to make efforts to transform the existing judicial law, limiting in particular the privileged positions of the nobility in this area. The DL was based almost exclusively on the domestic legal tradition, although in isolated cases it is possible to speak of borrowings from foreign laws, including Swedish, Norwegian, German, French, and Roman law. The DL was therefore an excellent basis for the further development of Danish law. Furthermore, its value can be evidenced by the fact that most of its provisions remained in force for roughly 200 years and a number of them remain in force today and are applied by Danish courts. In many respects, King Christian V’s Danish Code was ahead of its time, introducing principles that were not popularised in Europe until the codifications of the Age of Enlightenment. The unification of law throughout the state, the pursuit of comprehensiveness (hence, inter alia, the high regard in which the DL was held by the founder of the modern concept of codification, Jeremiah Bentham), the break with the relics of statehood in criminal law and the adoption of the principle of equality of all before the law, the guarantee of personal liberty to the Danes, its humanitarian character in comparison with other laws of the time, and the considerable shortening and acceleration of procedural proceedings constitute only some of the features of this outstanding monument to Danish legal thought. A point that is often made is that the DL was drafted in simple, clear language that everyone could understand, so that everyone could read it without difficulty. This made the applicable law more accessible, providing an additional guarantee of legal security.
The interest in and high approval of the Code, also outside Denmark, can be evidenced by attempts to use some of its provisions as models for the development of domestic law, including in Russia, Prussia, and Poland
“Des peines en général” in the French “Code pénal” of 1791
The publication is a continuation of the author’s studies on the history of judicial law of revolutionary France, with the author seeking to shed light on the sometimes underestimated first French criminal codification, adopted by the National Assembly in 1791. The researcher’s interests focus on the regulations determining the system of penalties adopted in the codification. Although the author’s dominant research method is exegesis of the normative text in the formal-dogmatic convention, the instruments of comparative legal studies have been used as well. Confronting the provisions of the code with the doctrinal assumptions and demands of the Enlightenment, the author seeks to show the complexity of multifaceted issues and specificity of the realities of revolutionary legislators, which necessitated compromises that are controversial for some researchers. Regardless of the critical remarks that have often been made about the French legislators, it is impossible to underestimate the crucial importance of the Code for the development of a European legal culture, which the author has tried to demonstrate by emphasising the pioneering nature of the law from the point of view of the development of new legal institutions
Interwencja, edukacja, demokracja – krytyka teatralna dwudziestolecia międzywojennego
The article focuses on three figures important for theatrical criticism of the interwar period: Witold Wandurski, Józef Jarema, and Adam Polewka. They were not only creators of important dramatic and theatrical projects of the 1920s and 1930s, but also authors who actively participated in the contemporary theater criticism discussions. Their critical-theatrical statements allow us to perceive a very characteristic and hitherto undescribed convergence of avant-garde projects and those stemming from the idea of democratizing art. Observations regarding the interventionist and educational potential of drama and theater during the interwar period lead to the conclusion that the center of thinking about the democratization of theatrical art lay not in the subject matter or presentation style, but in the project of a new spectator.Ośrodkiem artykułu są trzy postacie środowiska teatralnego dwudziestolecia międzywojennego: Witold Wandurski, Józef Jarema i Adam Polewka.
