The antiquity of the Caribbean natives prior to the discovery of the New World was rooted to the earth, sea and sky in an organic topography specific to each family, tribe or nation. In their own geographical environments, the natives lived an economy of security within their laws and communities, as absolute owners integrated in a thaumaturgical and spiritual brotherhood. In a short period of decades, that original environment which contributed to the perfection of their mythological, cultural treasures and cosmovision entered into a significant danger from which numerous communities had no escape. That tragic historical period started a massive cultural and personal suicide of the Caribbean natives. During that first decade, the mythology and worldview of the natives was narrated by the hermit of the order of San Jerónimo, Fray Ramón Pané, cementing the history, origin and native Caribbean heritage. The Caribbean, Yucatan, Florida, Central America and northern South America share ancestral similarities in their mythology, cosmovision, suicides and sacrificial deaths in accordance with their traditions and customs
Biosynthesis of Silver Nanoparticles using Ajuca ive Leaf Extract and Assessment of their Activity on E. coli and Streptococcus bacteria
Silver nanoparticle synthesis from plant extracts has been widely used in medicine, particularly as an antibacterial agent. In the present study, Ajuca ive leaf extract was performed using an aqueous solution tested for its phytochemical components. The results of the phytochemical analysis of Ajuca ive leaf extract had alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins, flavonoids, phenols, saponins, and coumarins. Synthesis of silver nanoparticles was performed using Ajuca ive leaf extract with a 1 mM solution of silver nitrate. The synthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized with UV-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), and Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectrum. SEM analysis revealed the size of the AgNPs of 36 nm, 55 nm, 70 nm, 100, and 300 nm. The EDX study showed that the optical absorption peak was detected at 3 keV, the characteristic peak for the absorbed metallic silver nanoparticles. FTIR analysis identified the possible functional group involved in reducing silver metal ions into silver nanoparticles. In addition, the antibacterial activity of synthesized silver nanoparticles was also examined and the results showed good antibacterial activities against E. coli and Streptococcus bacteria
Deeply anchored in Ivorian culture, traditional medicine is of capital importance within the national health system. Thus, this study is committed to identifying practitioners, medications, methods of producing remedies and evaluating their impact. To do this, a survey sheet intended to collect information on the participants (PMT) as well as on the medical means used in traditional treatments of conditions was developed. This sheet is composed of a pre-established anonymous questionnaire whose target population was composed of all practitioners of Traditional Medicine operating in Côte d'Ivoire. This questionnaire consisted of two sections with a total of thirty-seven (37 questions). It appears that 89% of the practitioners were Ivorian. This population was predominantly men with a rate of 83.5%. Most were aged between 30 and 59 (76%), with formal education (84%) and benefiting from knowledge passed down within their family (65%). However, a significant proportion do not master Good Manufacturing and Hygiene Practices (40.5%). These practitioners immediately favor the direct collection of raw materials and mainly use the decoction to treat chronic conditions and common infections. In short, these results highlight the urgent need for training to improve the quality and safety of traditional medicine practices in Côte d'Ivoire
The aim of this study is to find out what motivates some young graduates to take up salaried employment in order to explain their persistence. A qualitative approach (thematic content analysis) was used, involving semi-directive interviews with 36 students enrolled in a Master's year from 9 faculties. Participants in the study were selected using a multiple-case sampling technique. The results reveal that 08 sub-categories of reasons were found to explain students' motivations for taking up paid employment. 78 % of these reasons were given by those who had chosen to work for a company as a professional career and 22 % by those who had opted for an entrepreneurial career. The results show that in this case, it is cognitive attitudes and then personality traits that predominate in students' choice of salary career. As a result, decision-makers and specialists working in the field of professional integration must take an interest in the individual dispositions and mental and social representations of students with regard to salaried employment. Achieving a change in thinking about salaried employment would not only enable states to rebalance the balance of career guidance but also enable young graduates to emerge as quickly as possible from the long search for work and unemployment

In the Ihorombe region, pastoral fires or grazing fires are intentionally set by livestock farmers to regenerate pastures. If these fires are not controlled, they cause damage that is difficult to manage. This article aims to analyze the perception of pastoral fires in the Ihorombe region. This region is home to various populations from different ethnic groups in Madagascar, with the Bara being the native ethnic group, generally known as zebu herders. The methodology adopted in this study was a survey using a questionnaire administered to 120 randomly selected individuals from various villages in the Ihorombe region. The data obtained were then processed using the XLSTAT software. The analysis of local perceptions revealed that: among the five causes of savanna fires, uncontrolled grazing fires are the primary cause mentioned by the population; the number of fire points varies according to the number of cattle, meaning there is a correlation between herd size and the existence and quantity of fire points in this region; the practice of grazing fires is an unavoidable habit among the Bara ethnic group, and it is also a process of land appropriation; more than 50% of respondents recognize the importance of using fire on grazing land to promote new growth after rainfall. They perceive the necessity of fire use for pasture improvement; Heteropogon contortus is the zebus' preferred plant and is also the one that thrives best after repeated fires. Thus, there is a similarity between the preferred plant and the one that develops best after repeated fires; five types of disadvantages of grazing fires were identified according to popular perception, with drought and reduced rainfall being cited by the majority (66% and 41% of respondents, respectively). The population also perceives climate change; seven types of adaptation strategies to combat uncontrolled grazing fires were identified, with setting fires in the evening around 7 PM and calling for help to extinguish the fire being the most well-known among the local population

Freedom of Religion and Belief in International Documents and National Legislation
Human rights are protected by various international documents, reinforced by numerous legal acts and national legislation, underscoring their importance for individuals and, more broadly, for the development of each state. The extent to which human rights are effectively ensured, realized, and exercised within a state is directly linked to the degree of its democracy. Freedom of belief, religion, and conscience is among the most fundamental rights upon which the concept of a legal and democratic state is built. This right plays a crucial role in establishing religious and, more generally, democratic pluralism, which is essential for maintaining public peace and harmony. Therefore, this paper focuses on examining freedom of religion and belief as reflected in international documents and national legislation
