The Determinants of Success in the Implementation of Information Technology in Moroccan Companies: Exploratory Case Study
The study, which is being conducted in the context of the widespread use of information technology in Moroccan companies, focuses on examining the success factors of IT implementation. This is a crucial step in maximizing the value of information technology investments. The goal is to address concerns regarding the delay in digital transformation and the role of information technology in establishing a sustainable and irreplaceable competitive advantage. The research methodology utilizes a qualitative approach, specifically a single case study with semi-structured interviews for data collection. The theoretical framework incorporates the resource-based view (RBV) and contingency theories. The key findings of the study emphasize the challenges encountered during information technology implementation, especially concerning the complementarity of organizational and human resources with information technology resources. Based on these challenges, the factors contributing to successful information technology implementation are categorized into three groups: pre-implementation phase, alignment of information technology strategy, and collaboration and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the implementation process

Navigating the Digital Frontier: A Literature Review on Business Digitalization
The rise of digital technology has compelled organizations to undergo significant changes or, at the very least, reassess their operational strategies. Many major corporations have poured significant financial resources into what is commonly referred to as "Digitalization." Digital transformation has become an imperative for businesses that want to survive and thrive in an ever-changing world. Faced with the rise of digital technology, organizations must imperatively adapt their processes, products and services to meet new customer expectations and remain competitive. Digitalization, the integration of digital technologies into various aspects of life and business, has revolutionized industries across the globe. Key components of this transformation include big data, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning (ML) ,but even if Digitalization offers numerous benefits, including increased efficiency, innovation, and improved customer experiences, it also presents challenges such as security risks, the digital divide, technological dependency, and ethical considerations. Addressing these limitations is crucial to harnessing the full potential of digital technologies for positive societal impact. The objective of our article is to present a literature review on digitalization and provides an overview of the notable constraints and obstacles associated with digitalization and its advancement. It delves into the challenges related to the demand for digital resources, as well as the efficient and effective utilization thereof
Spatial and Temporal Analysis: A GIS-Based Application Tool for Crime Monitoring and Clustering in Malawi
For the purposes of monitoring, evaluating, and conducting a geographical analysis of crime-related data, the study used geospatial technology to collect crime data based on spatial location and the Malawi Police Data Digest of 2019 and 2020. In a more generic sense, knowing the geographic patterns of crime in Malawi using GIS technology can help determine how to make and implement important decisions to reduce crimes in Malawi. The Malawi Police Service has established a number of database management systems to help with crime monitoring. Notwithstanding, it has not yet fully integrated Geographic Information Systems across all jurisdictions. Maps showing crime locations and crime hotspot zones are therefore not included in the crime data and statistics report provided by the Malawi Police Service. In this light, a lot of people have become victims of various forms of crimes in areas where those crimes are also prevalent. To collect, track, and analyze crime data in Malawi for this study, Geographical Information System (GIS) particularly network analysis techniques were used. Network Analysis was used to identify crime hotspots by analyzing crime data as a network of interconnected events and locations. The rationale behind this was to treat each crime event as a node in the network and the spatial relationships between the crimes as edges. By analyzing this network, patterns and relationships between crime events were revealed, allowing for the identification of crime hotspots. The study found that Lilongwe in the central region and the capital city registered the highest number of crimes seconded by Blantyre in the southern region and followed by Mangochi. Mzimba recorded high crimes in the northern region. In Malawi, the traditional systems of intelligence and criminal record keeping have failed to satisfy the demands of today's crime situation. Manual methods neither give accurate, dependable, or complete data 24 hours a day nor do they help in trend forecasting and decision assistance. It also leads to poorer productivity and inefficient workforce use. The appropriate application of information technology is the solution to this ever-increasing challenge

The Strategic Role of the Third Mission in Universities A Concrete Case Study
Purpose - In addition to teaching and research, the universities aim to contribute to the development of civil society by promoting the direct application, valorisation and use of knowledge. In reality, it is a widespread and shared opinion that it is no longer enough to carry out research within the university perimeter and publish subsequent works in scientific journals, nor can we be satisfied only with teaching children in university courses.
Design/ methodology / approach - The methodology used is qualitative as the research question essentially was: how was the Third Mission (TM) included in the strategic choices of the Universities? In light of the new methods of evaluating universities, how can we highlight what they have done in terms of the third mission? Are organizational solutions possible in the approach to TM?
Findings - The objective was to verify what the impact and future development of the Third Mission in the Universities will be. In light of its inclusion among the evaluation criteria of universities and teachers, the third mission represents the new frontier of the future in terms of local and national openness and development, as well as their economic and financial sustainability. To this end, the analysis of a case is proposed, as a best practice, and in particular the case of the Department of Business and Legal Sciences of the University of Calabria is presented.
Originality / value – The application and implementation of rules and regulations is always difficult in any case and in any field, let's imagine in public administration and universities, bureaucratically "plastered" and not very inclined to change and innovation, especially regarding performance evaluation
This study aims to evaluate the toxicity of the aqueous extract of Sida acuta, a plant widely used in traditional medicine by West African and particularly Ivorian populations. The interest given to the said study is due to the need to guarantee populations a plant-based therapy without risk of toxicity or harmful effects. The qualitative phytochemical analysis was carried out by the tube staining method and the evaluation of the toxicity of the aqueous extract on white mice following OECD Guideline 423, modified in 2008. Doses 300, 1000, 2000 and 5000 mg/kg body weight were administered by gavage to the four experimental batches. Only the control batch received distilled water. Phytochemistry simultaneously revealed steroids and terpenes for aqueous and the 70% ethanolic extract while alkaloids, polyphenols, and flavonoids were revealed exclusively in the 70% ethanolic extract. The maximum dose of 5000 mg/kg body weight recorded no deaths. Therefore, the aqueous extract of Sida acuta remains safe for oral use in traditional medicine
A Comprehensive Review of the Three Main Topic Modeling Algorithms and Challenges in Albanian Employability Skills
Today’s jobseekers face many obstacles while trying to find a career that aligns with their interests, employability soft skills, and professional experience. In Albania, jobseekers frequently initiate their job search by actively exploring job vacancies listed on various online job portals. The analysis of job vacancies posted online provides an added advantage to the labour market actors compared to traditional survey-based analyses. This is because it enables a faster analytical process, promotes decision-making based on accurate data, and should be carefully considered by every country when formulating their Labor Market Policies. Since the data posted online are unlabelled, it has been proven that the potential of unsupervised learning techniques, more precisely the Topic Modelling algorithms, is outstanding when applied to analysing job vacancies, mainly with regard to assessing employability soft skills. Algorithms in topic modelling are essential for uncovering hidden patterns in texts, facilitating the extraction of important data, generating document summaries, and enhancing content comprehension. This paper analyses and compares the three primary methodologies and algorithms used in topic modelling, which can be applied to analyse employability soft-skills: Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA), Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), and BERTopic. At the end of the paper, conclusions are drawn regarding superior performance and optimal algorithm applicability, challenges, and limitations through a review of studies conducted in the Albanian job market
