With the development of digitization and online platforms, short videos have become one of the ways to spread traditional Chinese culture. The success of Grandpa Aki’s short videos is a model of cross-cultural transmission of traditional Chinese culture, especially craftsmanship, via short videos. However, few scholars have talked about the implications of cross-cultural transmission of Chinese excellent traditional culture brought by Grandpa Aki’s short video series. The paper analyses the implication of cross-cultural transmission of traditional Chinese culture from the success of Grandpa Aki’s short video series by clarifying the characteristics of these videos and the reasons for the success of these videos
In Niger, the diversity of voandzou is little known but the variability is quite large when certain seed characteristics are considered. The general objective of this study is to evaluate the agro-morphological performance of six (6) morphotypes of voandzou cultivated in Niger in order to identify the most promising morphotypes on the basis of their agronomic and morphological performance (seed coloring). These morphotypes were chosen following a separation on the basis of their coloration. The morphotypes were then evaluated on the experimental site of the Faculty of Agronomy of Abdou Moumouni University, located in commune 5 of Niamey. The data were collected through an agronomic trial set up on a randomized file system with three (3) blocks, and six (6) elementary plots per block. Seven (7) agro morphological characters linked to the components of yield and seed color were studied. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that the coefficients of variation range from 6.5 to 66.3%. The analysis of variance showed significant differences between the morphotypes of the different agronomic characters. The most relevant variables that make it possible to describe the variability between the groups of the morphotypes studied are the weight of pods per plant (PG/P), the average length of seeds per plant (Lmg/P), and the average width of seeds per plant (Lamg/P). These analyzed characters can thus constitute basic criteria to differentiate the morphotypes and serve for a study of variability between the morphotypes of voandzou of Niger
The mangrove ecosystems play a vital role in sustaining the population of the Mangagoulack commune, providing essential fishery resources such as oysters, salt, and mangrove wood from the Kawawana Marine Protected Area. This study aims at stressing the socioeconomic significance of harnessing the natural resources of the Kawawana Marine Protected Area. It was conducted through agro-socioeconomic surveys involving 294 stakeholders. The findings reveal that the exploitation of natural resources linked to the socioeconomic activities of households is primarily undertaken by individuals aged between 35 and 50 (47%), with women representing 73% of this group. Mangrove rice farming emerges as the predominant activity (26.28%), followed by market gardening (21.55%). The population also engages in the exploitation of oysters (12.17%), salt (10.14%), and mangrove wood (11.40%). In terms of mangrove utilization, species such as those belonging to the genus Rhizophora and Avicennia germinans are most commonly known (35%). They are utilized for cooking (43%), constructing ceilings and fences (19%), traditional medicine (8%), and cultural practices (7%). These mangrove species are mainly exploited during March and April (24%), corresponding to the oyster harvesting season in the Tendouck bolong (44.31%). The practice of oyster peeling is more prevalent among the exploiters (67.74%), a technique that concurrently contributes to the conservation of mangroves and oysters. Respondents express that this technique ensures an abundant stock of oysters in the area (77%), with a significant proportion being large individuals (83%). Oysters are primarily commercialized in the exploiter's village (56%) by "bana-bana," whose quarterly incomes range from 50,000 to over 450,000 CFA francs. Recorded endogenous practices reveal management approaches that maintain the sustainability of mangrove resources
Study of indoor air quality in school buildings in Argolida’s Sector at the Region of Peloponnese in Greece and potential Health Risks
Aims and scope: Indoor air quality (IAQ) in schools is very important, as students spend more time in school environments besides home. Epidemiological researches have shown that indoor pollutants are associated with several health and respiratory problems. The aim of the present study was to investigate the indoor air quality (IAQ) in school buildings in the Argolida’s Sector at the Region of Peloponnese in Greece. Methods: The study was conducted in fourteen (14) classrooms in a total of seven (7) school buildings in the Argolida’s Sector at the Region of Peloponnese during March 2022 to May 2023. Physical parameters such as temperature (T) and relative humidity (RH) and air pollutants Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Particulate matters PM (PM10, PM2.5) were monitored by the series 500 Portable Air Quality Monitor AeroQual, during (1) teaching hour per day in each classroom. Due to governmental measures to protect public health against the risk of further spread of COVID-19, some windows and doors in the classrooms were opened during the samplings. Findings: Mean temperature and relative humidity inside the classrooms was 22,12 oC and 50,87% respectively. The overall mean concentrations of air pollutants recorded inside the schools were 691,35ppm CO2, 0,001ppm NO2, 9,97ppm VOC’S, 15,7μg/m3 PM10 and 11,4μg/m3 PM2.5. No indoor CO concentration (0 ppm) was detected in all classrooms. In this study: a) in all schools (100%) indoor concentration levels of CO2 were below 1000ppm, b) in five (5) of fourteen (14) classrooms (35,7%) in the school buildings were detected concentration levels of CO2 more than 700ppm. In all schools (100%) indoor concentration levels of VOC’s were more than 0,8ppm. Eight (8) classrooms (57,1%) in Argolida’s school buildings had no comfort conditions, due to the high levels of relative humidity (RH>50%). There was a statistically significant difference for temperature (p=0,001), CO2 (p<0,001), NO2 (p=0,006) and VOC’s (p=0,001) between indoor and ambient air. Conclusion: The air quality in school buildings in the Argolida’s Sector was affected by the number of students inside a classroom, the ventilation rate and school’s equipment. The location of schools near central roads and construction activities played role on the concentration of indoor air pollutants. Indoor air pollution (IAP) can lead to potential health risks. The development of monitoring systems for measuring indoor pollutants in schools as well as strategies for control and enhancement of IAQ are considered essential for Public Health
DeepLeaf: Automated Leaves Classification Using Convolutional Neural Networks
This paper presents a methodology for automated classification of leaves using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Leaf classification plays a crucial role in various domains such as agriculture, botany, and environmental science. Traditional methods for leaf classification often rely on manual feature extraction and handcrafted classifiers, which can be time-consuming and limited in their accuracy. In this work, we propose a deep learning approach that leverages the power of CNNs to automatically learn discriminative features from leaf images.
The proposed framework consists of several key stages: preprocessing, data augmentation, model architecture design, training, and evaluation. We preprocess the leaf images to enhance their quality and normalize their dimensions. Data augmentation techniques are applied to increase the diversity of the training dataset and improve the generalization capability of the model. The CNN architecture is carefully designed to effectively capture hierarchical features present in leaf images.
We train the CNN using a large dataset of labeled leaf images, employing techniques such as transfer learning to leverage pre-trained models and optimize training efficiency. The trained model is evaluated using various metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score on a separate test dataset. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in accurately classifying different types of leaves.
Overall, this study showcases the promising capabilities of deep learning techniques for automated leaf classification, paving the way for advanced applications in plant biology and agriculture
The aim of the various lihostratigraphic, granulometric and morphoscopic analyses carried out on the cuttings from boreholes in the South of Comoé, together with the logging, is to characterise the formations of the Continental Terminal. The study also aims to improve our knowledge of the study area by identifying potential aquifers. The lithostratigraphy consists of a large sandy bed interspersed with fine clay banks and topped by silt-clay sands (bar land). The granulometry of the sands reveals that the size of the quartz grains in the sandy formations is predominantly coarse. Most of these sands are moderately to poorly graded. They have a positive asymmetry and are predominantly leptokurtic. Grain size decreases from North to South of the lagoon faultorphoscopic analysis of the grains reveals a very high proportion of sub-rounded to rounded quartz grains, whatever the grain size fraction. These grains are blunt and shiny, indicating that they have spent time in an aqueous environment. These results provide a database for improved lithological reconstruction of sedimentary formations in the South of the region of Comoé

This article aims to the improvement of learners conception of the notion reflex through appropriate pedagogical pratices. From the theoretical information and the survey by questionnaire addressed to a hundred learners of two promotions, we deduce that the learners have many initial conception of the reflexes, these conceptions on the reflexes, these conceptions are sometimes correct, sometimes moderately correct, sometimes false. The results of this reflection will enable us to make recommadations both in terms of taking conceptions into account in the planning of learning activities and in the process of transforming a conception

The Moderating Effect of Stakeholders Management on the Relationship Between Organizational Characteristics and Performance of African Ports
The main objective of this study was to determine the moderating effect of stakeholders’ management on the relationship between organizational characteristics and the performance of seaports in Anglophone Africa. This study adopted a positivist research philosophy with a descriptive cross-sectional census survey design. Structured questionnaires were employed to collect primary data targeting executive managers of container-handling seaport terminals in Africa who are knowledgeable in port operations and management. Additional published data was also obtained from the websites of some of the ports. The response rate was 83.6%. The reliability and validity of the indicator items were ascertained through diagnostic tests. The use of SRMR and NFI confirmed model fitness. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling using Smart PLS 4.0 software was used for data analysis and measurement model estimation to test the null hypothesis that there is no significant moderating effect of stakeholders’ management on the relationship between organizational characteristics and the performance of seaports in Africa. The finding established a positive and significant moderating effect of stakeholders’ management on the relationship. The study concluded that sound and competent stakeholders’ management enhances port container terminal performance thereby creating a competitive advantage for ports in Anglophone Africa. The study adds to new knowledge, theory, policy, and practice by recommending that seaports in Africa should mitigate possible conflicts from stakeholders while developing new ports or expanding existing ports by embracing stakeholder theory.
