Initiatives on School Health Education in Short Time Periods Utilzing Self-Reported Daily Life Longs for Fifth Graders
In order for students to be able to forge a day-to-day life rhythm favorable to children, yogo teacher implemented school health education using the time allotted for physical measurements. In addition, the students themselves entered information on their daily life as well as actions of the week as well as their goals, as such acquiring the skills to utilize selfreported daily life logs in which parents/guardians also entered comments.
As a results, in order to forge a daily life rhythm conducive to health, in addition to factors such as eating breakfast, exercising, and sleep, first and foremost it is critical that students understand the importance of their own daily life actions. Based on this understanding, where they were able to establish realistic goals and reflect on their actions, they were also able to create advantageous daily life rhythms. In addition, with regard to implementation of school health education, our results also indicated the importance of avoiding excess focus on short-term actions.departmental bulletin pape
Literature review of the prevailing trends of stress management education in educational institutions
It is important to actively engage in activities that support the psychological development of children and students in school. Stress management education should be implemented preventively; however, little research has been conducted on the trends in its implementation. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the implementation of stress management education in schools by reviewing the domestic literature in Japan.
We examined the trends in the implantation of stress management education in Japanese schools, using the search keywords "stress management education," "stress management education and practice," and "stress management education practice," yielded 62 papers on practices. Analysis of the content revealed that many practices incorporated "psychological activities" such as "cognitive transformation." These practices are specialized, and they trend is a tendency to be more effective because they incorporate specialized knowledge and activities. This suggests that expert knowledge is crucial for stress management education.

The Case Marker Agrees with the Complement Noun in Odia Noun Phrases
This article demonstrates that in Odia (Indo-Aryan, Indo-European) case-marked noun phrases, the case marker shows agreement with the head noun for plurality. Historically, this phenomenon has arisen through structural reanalysis, namely, keeping the original sequence intact and changing the structure: the exponent of plurality was originally a portion of the noun’s ending, and came to be part of the case marker. Alongside case-marker agreement, Odia has the obligatory numeral quantifier. The interaction of the two phenomena is discussed (i) in light of the cross-linguistic generalization of the (near-) complementary distribution of a plural marker and a numeral classifier (the Greenberg-Sanches-Slobin generalization), and (ii) in the context of the historical development of the Indo-Aryan languages.departmental bulletin pape

The results are as follows: 1) According to our interview surveys of high school home economics teachers in Kumamoto, some teachers pointed out the problems that high school students around 15 years old are difficult to imagine future life many years after, and they design their future lives only within their own family life experiences. 2) To solve these problems, we devise teaching plans and materials for life planning, thinking about diverse ways of living and simulating future life incorporating the materials, "life and money planning game," and so on.departmental bulletin pape
Development of a junior high school home economics class on the process of clothing from production to disposal
This study aims to develop engaging lessons for junior high school students that encourage practical application in everyday life, focusing on consumer habits throughout the entire clothing lifecycle.
Teaching materials, including slides, a short video on clothing recycling, and an original card game were created for the lesson.
The initial classes were conducted with university students, and the card game received positive feedback, particularly for its impact on changing attitudes toward clothing disposal. However, it was noted that the volume of information was excessive for first-year junior high students. To address this, the amount of content and the number of slides were reduced to improve the difficulty level.departmental bulletin pape
