Recovery support for children with problematic sexual behaviors

    Get PDF
Sexual behavior occurs during all stages of development, and sexual behavior that is an inevitable part of the developmental process is not in itself problematic. While most sexual behaviors exhibited by infants and school-aged children are normal and unproblematic, some may be problematic. However, most studies on problematic sexual behaviors have focused on adolescents, with insufficient attention being paid to the sexual behaviors of younger children. In this paper, the author reviews previous studies and summarizes the types of child sexual behavior that are normative as well as problematic. In addition, this paper includes an overview of the factors that contribute to problematic sexual behaviors exhibited by children, assessments of support, and actual methods of support, focusing on recent studies. Moreover, the author proposes that interventions for problematic sexual behaviors of children should not be framed as traditional therapeutic education, but as recovery support.departmental bulletin pape

Considering knowledge pertaining to the relationship between mental health and exercise, food, and sleep in the context of health guidance for upper-grade elementary school students : From an analysis of the impact of positive daily life habits self implemented by junior high school students

This research was conducted to identify any impact of knowledge of the relationship between mental health and exercise, food, and sleep on the desire to implement positive exercise, food, and sleep habits to protect mental health, as well as impact on possibilities for controlling stressors. In addition, we also explored whether or not content comprised of knowledge on the impact of daily life habits on mental health was appropriate for higher-grade elementary school health guidance. Yet another goal was to determine the validity and appropriateness of the criteria used in this research through analysis of these factors. Our results reveal that knowledge of the relationship between mental health and exercise, food, and sleep on the desire to implement positive exercise, food, and sleep habits to protect mental health--as well as well as impact on possibilities for controlling stressors--was positive. Content comprised of knowledge on the impact of daily life habits on mental health was deemed appropriate health guidance for higher-grade elementary school students. Though adjustments must be made to analyses to suit the target of our research, results clearly indicated a certain level of reliability and appropriateness on all criteria.departmental bulletin pape

Interface state density in mist chemical vapor deposited Al2O3/AlGaN/GaN structure

    Get PDF
Uniform thickness Al2O3 thin films have been deposited by eco-friendly mist CVD. The obtained Al2O3 film has an optical band gap value of more than 6.5 eV and a refractive index of 1.64 at 633 nm. The combination of capacitance–voltage (C–V) fitting method with non-linear least-squares algorithm, frequency dispersion, photo-assisted, and proposed reverse bias-assisted C–V methods revealed interface state densities ranging from 1 × 1012 to 3 × 1013 cm−2eV−1 along the mist-Al2O3/AlGaN interface. These values are comparable to those reported for atomic layer deposited Al2O3 thin films.journal articl
