Automatic energy meter reading for multiple devices employing prepaid alerting system
This paper intends to establish a system which advises to keep an eye on the readings from an energy meter and regulating the switching of energy meter. The proposed system has maximum demand concept, to alert the user when the energy consumed crosses beyond the set limit in the form of text message. In this we have designed the system in such a way that if the maximum demand for the industries under load conditions exceeds the allotted demand then the Electricity Board will insist penalty for that consumer
Comparative case study analysis of conventional and solar energy systems
Energy management is the process for the conservation of energy as energy consumption tends to rise day by day, as energy demand rises. The process involved is to determine when, where, why, and how energy is used in a plant or building. This paper aims to carry out electrical load management in organizations /domestic/industries. The main objective is to evaluate the use of Electrical energy in an organization for different appliances and determine the opportunities for energy saving with energy-efficient equipment or techniques to make it more energy-efficient. This paper presents mathematical modeling, examination, and analysis for the institution and estimates the savings obtained by switching from a conventional energy source to a solar energy source

Out of 54 cases only 6 cases were reported with halitosis, 0 cases reported with the difficulty in removing and insertion of denture, 3 cases reported with mucosal irritation and 12 cases reported with Debonding of teeth after 8 to 9 months, respectively.
Colon-specific tablets containing naproxen microsponges for effective treatment of inflammatory bowel disease
Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, indicated for the relief of inflammation. The aim of the present study was to develop & optimize the microsponges based of naproxen tablet for colon specific drug delivery for enhanced therapeutic effect. Microsponges were developed by quasi emulsion solvent diffusion method. Compatibility of the drug with excipients was studied by FT-IR & DSC .Prepared microsponges were optimized in order to analyze the effects of independent variables (ratio of drug: eudragit (X1), concentration of PVA ( X2) & stirring speed (X3)) on the particle size (Y1), entrapment efficiency (Y2) and production yield (Y3) using box behnken design. Particle size (Y1), entrapment efficiency (Y2) and production yield (Y3) were the responses selected for simultaneous optimization, with the aid of Derringer’s desirability function. The optimized formulation was subjected to in vitro study. The F1 was selected as optimized formulation based on particle size of 600.75µm , entrapment efficiency of 99.32%, and production yield 94.45% . The results showed that, generally an increase in the ratio of the drug: polymer control release rate of naproxen from micro sponges.
Effectiveness of lower back massage with roseoil on labour pain among primi mothers during first stage of labour at Karpaga Vinayaga institute of medical sciences and research centre in Kanchipuram district
Labor is a special experience for a mother and her family. However, not only is labor pain one of the most painful conditions that women typically experience in life, the stress related to uncontrolled labor pain also has a negative impact on the mother, the fetus, and the newborn. Therefore, pain relief during labor is an essential aspect of obstetrical care. Labor pain relief methods are categorized into pharmacological (inhalation anesthesia, regional anesthesia, opioids such as pethidine) and nonpharmacological (hypnosis, laboring in water, acupuncture, massage) methods. The level of labour pain perception was significantly reduced among the mothers who received the rose oil massage during first stage of labour than the mothers in control group who didn’t received it
Alcohol induced dose dumping in modified release formulations in vivo and in vitro studies: Comprehensive review
Various case studies based on alcohol-induced dose dumping in modified release dosage forms both in vivo and in vitro have been studied in this review, as well as a study of numerous factors impacting it, polymers that can be used to prevent it, and a perspective of regulatory authorities. The drug from various modified release dosage forms is released in such a way that the release of the drug is tailored or delayed especially for drugs that are having a therapeutic index in a very narrow range or are opioids. These types of drugs possess a very high risk of dose dumping if co-administered with alcohol. Since the problem of alcohol-induced dose dumping (AIDD) has been caught by the regulatory agencies some of the formulations come with black box warnings and some are even withdrawn from the market. It’s been set as a benchmark by the regulatory agencies that if the formulation withstands 0-40% alcoholic condition under in-vitro release tests then the modified release formulations can be classified rugged against the dose duping.
Comparison between Bretschneider -HTK solution and antegrade cold blood cardioplegia as a method for myocardial protection in thoracic aortic surgery
Background: Cardiac surgeons demand a cardioplegic solution providing extended durations of myocardial protection due to the increasing complexity of cardiac surgical procedures, especially thoracic aortic operations which require extended myocardial ischemic periods. The goal of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of cold crystalloid single dosage Histidine Tryptophan Ketogultarate (Custodiol) cardioplegia to cold blood multidose cardioplegia in aortic surgery patients. Methods: Our study included 100 elective and emergency aortic surgery patients. Fifty patients received Custodiol cardioplegic solution (group A) and fifty received cold blood cardioplegia (group B). We evaluated post-operative cardiac Troponin I release, postoperative morbidities and mortality. Results: Troponin I peak release, duration of inotropic support & intensive care unit stay were more in the cold blood group. Hemofiltration and intraoperative requirement of blood products transfusion were more in the Custodiol group. No differences were found regarding cross-clamp time, arrhythmias, postoperative ejection fraction and in-hospital mortality. Conclusion: In patients having thoracic aortic surgery, custodiol and cold blood cardioplegic treatments give good myocardial protection. Custodiol usage was linked to lower troponin levels, shorter inotropic support periods, and shorter ICU stays. In terms of early mortality and morbidity, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups
Study of effect bio synthesized silver nanoparticles from Proteus mirabilis and on anti-oxidant activity
Microbes that cause disease and have developed resistance to pharmacological treatment are becoming an increasingly serious threat to public health. Because of this, the research and development of novel bactericides is a pressing necessity. This work focuses on the production of silver nanoparticles, which were synthesized from Proteus mirabilis and then had their shape and size distribution evaluated by particle size distribution analysis. investigation using an analyzer and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Aqueous medium's ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectrum. The silver nanoparticles made from Proteus mirabilis showed their antioxidant ability in vitro by scavenging DPPH free radicals. The highest inhibition titer was found in the mixture of DPPH and silver nanoparticles at 512g/ml (70.001%), while the lowest was found at 32mg/ml (59.597 %)
Application of nanomedicine in the thetreatment of melenoma: Advances and prospects
Melanoma is the most forceful sort of skin malignant growth and has exceptionally high paces of mortality. A beginning phase melanoma can be carefully eliminated, with an endurance pace of close to 100%. Notwithstanding, metastasized melanoma is challenging to fix. The 5-year endurance rates for patients with metastasized melanoma are still beneath 20%. Metastasized melanoma is presently treated by chemotherapy, designated treatment, immunotherapy and radiotherapy. The result of the majority of the ongoing treatments is not even close to hopeful. Despite the fact that melanoma patients with a transformation include the oncogene v-Raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1 (BRAF) have an at first higher positive reaction rate to designated treatment, the greater part create obtained drug obstruction following a half year of the treatment. To increment treatment adequacy, early finding, more powerful pharmacological specialists, and more successful conveyance frameworks are critically required. Nanotechnology has been broadly read up for melanoma treatment and analysis,to diminish drug obstruction, increment helpful viability, and lessen secondary effects. Include this audit, we sum up the new advancement on the improvement of different nanoparticles for melanoma treatment and finding
