Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels for long periods. This disease is widely spread among the world population, and an increase in its incidence is currently observed, and this is mainly due to a sedentary lifestyle and an excessive caloric diet. In order to know the role of particulate air pollutants and their impact on type 2 diabetes, this study came as it included 90 people from Diyala Governorate / central Iraq (males only), their ages ranged between (24-60) years and they were distributed among 25 individuals with type 2 diabetes. 2 working in gas stations and 40 people working in gas stations also at risk of pollution and 25 people in a control group and for the period from January 2, 2021 to March 5, 2021 for the winter season, and for the period from July 15, 2021 to August 22 2021 for the summer, as the study was conducted in the winter and summer seasons.&nbsp

Culture change is an incident an individual experience when he is exposed to an environment of different cultural components ideally differing to the home culture; Additionally, it refers to the sense of confusion that a person may have when adapting to a new culture as a result of immigration or travel, changing social situations, or just adopting a more varied way of life. (Macionis, 2010) This research identifies some of the major causes of a cultural change and highlights on parameters which affects their experience and their impact on mental health. The research has been done with a thought process of evaluating the type of change through four distinct phases vis a vis honeymoon, negotiation, adjustment, and adaptation phase. The aim of this research was to examine the culture shock and anxiety among international students studying in Bengaluru and to find out various coping strategies adapted by them to overcome their culture shock. Parameters identified in this study are: information overload, language barrier, generation gap, technology gap, skill interdependence, formulation dependency, homesickness (cultural), infinite regress (homesickness), boredom (job dependency), response capability (cultural skill set) (Ramsay, Jones, & Barker, 2007; Winant, 2001)

Angiotensin-receptor blockers are often considered adequately efficacious in reducing blood pressure. By accepting the current regulatory requirements for an analytical method development, a reversed phase high performance liquid chromatographic method for routine analysis of Azilsartan has been developed. The optimized method was achieved using unisol C-18 (3μm, 4.6×150mm) coloumn with mobile phase consisting of mixture acetonitrile and methonal (90:10v/v) with a flow rate of 0.8ml/min at 249nm. The Linear concentration range is 2-10μg/ml. The detection and quantitation limit was found to be 0.45μg/ml. And the detection limit was found to be 0.149μg/ml. There are no interfering peaks under performed degradation conditions. The optimized method was validated according to ICH guidelines

The research was based on the individual differences in students with special abilities of the elementary basic school "12 de Octubre, "of the canton San Vicente, according to initial inquiries and diagnostic tests it was possible to identify the problems, including individual differences and special abilities, which significantly affect the teaching-learning process, from this, relevant themes were established in the theoretical framework in relation to the variables, which allowed to analyze the causes and consequences of exclusion in the teaching-learning process. The aim was to determine how individual differences influence students with special abilities. The research had a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, of a bibliographic type, was applied, survey, interview, and observation sheet to investigate the behavior of students and the processes of intervention by teachers in cases of exclusion. It was obtained as a result that individual differences and special abilities negatively influence learning, being necessary that teachers, managers, and students are prepared to undertake these situations. Each student has a different way of interacting, receiving knowledge and processing it in their life

Background: There is a wide variation of the prevalence of patellofemoral pain (PFP), there is limited studies concerning the prevalence of PFPS in Arabic population and specifically medical students in the universities. Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of PFP in the medical students of Cairo University (aged 18–25 years) using a self-report online questionnaire. Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted in Cairo city on 532 medical students of age 18-25 years. Data was collected through online questionnaire. Results: Overall prevalence rate of PFP was 28.76%. PFP was higher in females than males (23.5% and 5.3%, respectively), it was insignificantly associated with BMI, time of sitting with bending knee (P>0.05), while significantly associated with time of standing (P<0.05). Conclusions: Patellofemoral pain is common among young active medical students in Cairo University with higher prevalence in females than males

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the difference between the effect of anterior diaphragmatic training and diaphragmatic breathing on ventilatory function in post-menopausal kyphotic women. Subjects: Sixty women complaining from post-menopausal kyphosis participated in this study. They were selected randomly from Tanta University Hospital in Tanta. Their ages were ranged from 50 to 60 years old. Their body mass index was ranged from 25-30 kg/m2. Their degree of kyphosis was moderate degree of kyphosis according to block method. They did not receive any medical treatment during the research period. Women with mild and severe degree of kyphosis according to block method, cardiovascular conditions (Those with a known history of uncontrolled hypertension, ischemic attacks, stroke and congestive heart failure), severe pulmonary disease (Restrictive lung disease or obstructive lung disease) and musculoskeletal disorders (Severe osteoporosis or severe osteoarthritis) were excluded from the study. Design: Design of the study was randomized controlled study (Pre and post experimental study). They were divided into two equal groups (A&B). Group A consisted of thirty postmenopausal kyphotic women and treated by diaphragmatic breathing exercises, 3 times per week for 16 weeks.&nbsp

Background: Dysfunction of the vestibular system was linked with the development of psychological and sleep disorders. Vertigo is one of the most common clinical syndromes with a five percent prevalence in the adult population. Aim and Objective: To determine the depression, anxiety, stress, and sleep in vertigo patients. Material and Methods: A total of 50 male and female vertigo patients were part of the study after obtaining informed consent. Age and gender-matched 50 controls were also recruited. After recruitment, the participants underwent a general physical examination and filling out the questionnaires. Results: Age was not significantly different between the groups. Higher scores of depression were present in the cases when compared to the control group. Higher levels of anxiety were observed in the cases when compared with the control group. Significantly higher levels of stress scores were observed in the cases when compared to the control group. Significantly higher scores of insomnia were observed in the cases when compared with the control group. Conclusion: The present study results explain that there were significantly higher scores of depression, anxiety, stress, and insomnia scores in the participants of the cases group when compared with the control group
