    This study aimed to determine the effect of training and career development on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Regional Retail Collection and Recovery Unit Region II / Sumatera 2. The population in this study were all employees in 2020 at Bank Mandiri Regional Retail Collection & Recovery Unit Palembang area. The sample in this study was 137 employees using a simple random sampling method. The data collection method used a questionnaire distributed to all employees, and the data was processed using multiple linear regression analysis. This study indicates that training and career development have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Training and career development together have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This research is expected to add good knowledge to be applied and made recommendations for companies in analyzing problems related to training and career development of organizations or companies and their effects on employee performance

    The Indonesia Open is an international badminton championship which is held annually in Jakarta and is a regular event in the series of The Badminton World Federation (BWF) tournaments which are participated by various world-class badminton players. This sport event attracts many badminton connoisseurs to watch live matches at the Istora Senayan stadium in Jakarta so that it is always crowded with spectators. The main objective of this study was to find out how the effect of discounts and ticket sales services for buyer satisfaction of the Indonesia Open badminton matches who want to watch the match live. In order to understand how far this effect, the authors have obtained primary data by providing questionnaires for 100 respondents who have purchased tickets to watch the annual sporting event. After data collection, the analysis was then carried out using multiple linear regression methods to test the validity and reliability of the research statements.&nbsp

    The research was conducted to analyze the implementation of the Socialization/communication of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 6 of 2018 concerning the Assignment of Teachers as School Principals has not been carried out optimally by the Tidore Islands City Education Office. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting direct interviews with selected informants. The results of the study found that the Socialization of Permendikbud Number 6 of 2018 concerning the Assignment of Teachers as Principals of Schools has not been comprehensive for all school principals, but is still carried out in a limited manner by inserting in the Education Regulation Socialization activities. Socialization of Permendikbud Number 6 of 2018 concerning the Assignment of Teachers as School Principals has not utilized the online network through communities that are members of the Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook, and other application content

    Process of Pan Balang Tamak text: a systemic functional linguistics perspective

    Pan Balang Tamak text is one of the Balinese narrative texts getting declination in the popularity in the community because of specific reasons. Many people do not know the ideology of the text. After all, the text is not comprehended totally because the text brings metaphor actions released by clauses. Verbs represent actions. Systemic Functional Linguistics serves verbs within clause as a process. The kinds of the process can be identified based on the activity done in the text. This research analyzed the usage of a process in Pan Balang Tamak text. The research aimed to find out the characteristics of the text. The data were taken from a Balinese narrative book Satua-Satua Bali (Supatra, 2014) the method used for the research was qualitative, library research. The technique used for the research was by splitting the clauses employed in all texts. The clauses were split into arguments such as participant, process, and circumstance. The processes became the research concern. The processes were collected based on the types. Participants and circumstances were not analyzed. The theory used to analyze the data was the theory concerned with transitivity proposed by Halliday

    Implementation of government regulation no. 53/2010 about civil state employees discipline in general and equipment of regional secretariat Halmahera

    This study aimed to determine the implementation of Government Regulation no. 53 of 2010 on the Civil Servant Discipline I Division of General and Secretariat Supplies DaerahKabupaten West Halmahera. The results show that the implementation of Government Regulation No. 53/2010 in the general and equipment section has been running quite well, but some violate these rules. There are 5 violations of employee discipline towards working time efficiency in the general and equipment section, provided that 3 people are given light sanctions, and 2 people are given moderate sanctions. After a more accurate analysis was carried out, it turned out that several factors caused the violation, namely the lack of (1) communication, (2) resources, (3) disposition (attitude of the executor), and (4) bureaucratic structure. Communication between colleagues, both superiors and subordinates, is minimal, resulting in minimal human resources and work discipline knowledge in general and equipment. Besides, implementers or stakeholders' attitude towards the disposition of socialization activities regarding the implementation of work discipline for Civil Servants is not followed up

    The process of pedagogical feedback is a factor that affects student training since it allows identifying their strengths and weaknesses with the sole objective of improving them and thus strengthening their academic performance. The general objective of the research is to determine the actions that teachers carry out to provide feedback and optimize the teaching-learning processes of the students of the Tenth year of Basic General Education, of the General Educational Unit "Eloy Alfaro" of Canton Chone. The research is exploratory since the study is based on the collection, analysis and interpretation of data in order to obtain a synthesis of the phenomenon related to the feedback process. The quantitative and descriptive method was applied to explore, observe, analyze, detail and verify the data obtained. The results achieved detail the level of knowledge that teachers have about the referred process and the strategies implemented, being able to verify whether they promote cognitive learning of the student; being the only way to create active, innovative, motivating and capable students to make their own decisions

    Policy implication of prohibition of using plastic bags at shopping centres

    This paper aimed to discuss issues policies on plastic use prohibition at shopping centers in the Biak district. The Biak district's plastic prohibition program's success or failure is closely related to compliance with and sanctions against this rule's violators. To understand how this policy's implementation and success, we have conducted a series of data collection on ten international publications that raise the issue of prohibiting plastic bags in the Biak area. After collecting the data, it is then continued with in-depth analysis under the phenomenological approach. To ensure our findings are valid and reliable, we relate them to study questions. By considering existing data and evidence from previous studies, we can conclude that our results are, among others. Implementing the regulation on the prohibition of using plastic bags in Biak has not been effective because of the community's readiness and inadequate sanctions. The policy has not been very effective

    Visual communication design media through animation is the most appropriate means of assisting learning methods in early childhood which functions to help early childhood develop sensory and motor skills in early childhood. Also, it is constructive for teachers and parents to facilitate teaching methods that can concretely stimulate motivation in students. This study will describe a learning model that uses visual communication designs, especially animation in early childhood in the Surakarta area, Central Java, Indonesia. This research method includes data collection, data analysis, and presentation of data analysis. The stages of analysis from various sources of results from information from both literature reviews and interviews were carried out using an interactive model, where each component of the research includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of data sources and triangulation of theories.
