    Get PDF
Diarrhea is a dangerous disease in children. It can lead to death and cause an outbreak of extraordinary events. The main cause of death in diarrhea is dehydration, namely as a result of the loss of fluid and electrolyte salt in stool diarrhea. If dehydration is not immediately helped 20-30% of them could die. In order to analyze the effectiveness of health counseling on diarrheal disease prevention behavior with leaflet method on families who have children aged 0 - 5 years at Raba sub-district, Bima City in 2018. This research used Paired T-test research with One Group Pre-Post Test Design approach to 200 people sample. Sample selection sampling technique used a non-probability sampling type with purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of the entire sample. It is in accordance with the characteristics set by the researcher in the inclusion criteria. The results of the two variables analysis above using the Paired T-test, the t-value = 7.053 and p = 0.000 were obtained. The t-value = 7.053 indicated that there was strong effectiveness between two variables seen from the interpretation table of the correlation coefficient. The p-value = 0,000 was smaller than the alpha value of 0.05. it means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a strong and significant effect between maternal behavior before and after health counseling

    Get PDF
The utilization of radiation for health in Indonesia shows a significant increase, it can be seen from the increasing number of modalities of ionizing radiation sources used and the types of medical actions carried out with the help of radiation. The use of radiation must be monitored to ensure the protection and safety of workers, patients, and the community. In Government Regulation No. 33/2007 which regulates radiation safety for workers, the community and the environment, it can be seen that one of the protection requirements that must be met in the utilization of radiation is the optimization of radiation protection and safety. In diagnostic and interventional radiology, optimization can be interpreted as an attempt to make the dose received by patients as low as possible while maintaining optimum image quality. In this study, the effort to optimize patient dose is carried out on general radiography with the application of Si-INTAN (National Patient Dose Data Information System)

Application of RULA analysis on work posture improvement to reduce workers’ fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints and to accelerate processing time of wok molding

    Get PDF
The aim of the research was to analyze the work posture of the workers using the RULA method. The research was conducted experimentally by applying the treatment by subject design using 12 samples which were given two treatments; wok molding workers with the former molding facility (P0), and wok molding workers with the new molding facility with the ergonomic intervention (PI). Conclusion of this research is the RULA analysis result on the work posture of placing the end work on the temporary place (P0) gave a score of 7. This score shows a high-risk level and needs work posture improvement immediately. The work on PI showed the RULA score of 3, which means that there is a decrease from a high risk at a low-risk level. The average time needed to mold a wok on P0 was 1.46 minutes/unit, and on PI was 1.23 minutes/unit or down 18.7%. Therefore it recommended for wok molding worker to use ergonomic work posture (PI)

A research and modeling of wave processes at the scattering of nonlinear acoustic waves on cylindrical bodies

    Get PDF
The article is devoted to the study of the scattering of nonlinear acoustic waves on cylindrical bodies. There was made a review of publications on the scattering of acoustic waves by inhomogeneities of the medium in the form of cylindrical bodies and shells. There were noted features of the small parameter method application in nonlinear acoustics. A three-dimensional model of the geometry of the problem in cylindrical coordinates was presented, nonlinear wave processes occurring between the falling plane and scattered cylindrical waves were described. The inhomogeneous wave equation is solved by the method of successive approximations of series expansion in a small parameter. An asymptotic expression for the acoustic pressure of a difference-frequency wave was obtained. A program for calculating scattering diagrams has been developed, and an algorithm for its operation is given. The acoustic pressure scattering diagram of a differential frequency wave on a rigid cylinder and its three-dimensional model are presented. The radius of convergence of the used method of expansion in a small parameter is determined

Professional commitments and pressure of obedience in mediating on the effect of time budget pressure in quality audits

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the ability of professional commitment and pressure of obedience in moderating the effect of time budget pressure on audit quality. Auditors working in the Public Accounting Firm registered in the Province of Bali were used as populations using purposive sampling according to the criteria set. The data analysis technique used is the moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that time budget pressure had a significant negative effect on audit quality and showed that professional commitment weakened the negative influence of time budget pressure on audit quality and pressure of obedience to strengthen the negative influence of time budget pressure on audit quality

The soil is an important material for human life. The problem that is often encountered with soil is soil contamination due to the discharge of leachate into the soil. This research aims to observe the influence of leachate viscosity on seepage using Geo-Studio SEEP/W Program. The samples of leachate were taken from ceramic industry and from Suwung landfill site. Soil samples were silty sandy taken from Ida Bagus Oka street, Denpasar, Bali. Seepage modeling in Geo-Studio SEEP/W was conducted on silty sand condition using pure water (without leachate), leachate from ceramic industry, and leachate from Suwung Disposal Site. Seepage modeling on Geo-Studio was conducted on saturated/unsaturated condition. It was found that the leachate viscosity was different each other. The viscosity of leachate from ceramic industry was 0.01366741 N s/m2 and 0.002061309 N s/m2 from Suwung Disposal Site. Due to mixed with leachate, soil hydraulic conductivity decreased from 0.001949 cm/s to 0.0001029 cm/s. The largest discharge and velocity of seepage on silty sand material from Ida Bagus Oka street, Denpasar, obtained by using Geo-Studio SEEP/W Modeling was produced by pure water (without leachate), whereas, the smallest one produced by leachate from Suwung landfill site
