    Google form implementation on general English assignment in polytechnic education

    Implementing internet platform assisting teachers’ learning material is commonly applied in leaning instructional for example creating questionnaire using Google Forms. Whereas, providing English assignment in the classroom using Google Forms was not explored deeply by lecturers in Politeknik education system. The current study attempts to gauge the use of Google Forms on English task. There were 98 students of engineering department in the (Politeknik Negeri Bali) given a questionnaire. Furthermore, descriptive method was then employed to elucidate the result. The findings explained that most of the students pursue to use Google Forms in working on the English assignment which should be prepared by the lecturers. There were 8 significant steps to create the task through Google Forms which is able to modify. This is a call for the lecturers to apply Google Forms in delivering the regular task to the learners in the classroom

    The role of technology in innovating English teaching to improve learning outcomes in the digital world

    This study examines the job of innovation in further developing English learning results by utilizing an all-computerized application. We have gotten information from different writing and distribution sources, including books, scholarly works, and sites. Next, we try to study with a phenomenological approach, a mechanism to understand large amounts of data to obtain data that can answer research problems. The analysis includes data coding, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions based on the principles of validity and reliability of data findings. Based on the presentation and discussion of the data, we can conclude that applying technology with various software helps teachers and students improve English learning outcomes. Now technology makes it easier to learn in class online or face to face. This is supported by the fact that technology can innovate English language learning compared to teaching before the advent of educational technology. These results are expected to be beneficial for related parties, including teachers, curriculum designers, policymaking, and further research

    Reading in the development of linguistic skills at the elementary level

    The study aimed at reading in the development of language skills, at the elementary level of the Cinco de Mayo Educational Unit, in the 2021-2022 school year, where there was a lack of learning in the reading process due to the lack of reading skills, lack of knowledge when building syllables, reading comprehension and the lack of strategies to improve it. The methodology used was systematic, controlled, and critical research, with a field study between variables, with the analytical, synthetic and statistical method, obtaining as a result that the difficulty in learning to read is in the motivation of the child; in the disposition that the teacher assumes to teach and the behavior that the parents support the process from home, to lead to reading comprehension and the development of linguistic skills

    Communication in the teaching-learning process in linguistic expression in high school students

    The objective of the work consists of offering an analytical contribution linked to the problem of communication as part of the teaching-educational process, in the interest of motivating teachers in the reflection and study of the theoretical components that provide the improvement of the linguistic expression of the students of the medium basic level. The importance of the work lies in the very fact that oral communication and language are primary processes to develop knowledge, since the work of learning where teachers and students intervene starts from them. The deductive method was applied, which allowed starting from the general situation presented by communication in the teaching-learning process in the linguistic expression of the students, considering that the results of the analysis related to the training process and within this the role it plays. the teacher, is key to improving students' linguistic expression.&nbsp

    Basic materials of literature genre text in Sasak language: The utilization as teaching materials for local content of Sasak language

    Teaching materials about literature in the 2013 Curriculum should be text-based, but after careful discussion of the material in the curriculum and Sasak language textbooks in primary and secondary education, the emphasis is more on the value of beauty and character of story characters. In addition, teaching materials about the text of the Sasak literary genre are presented in Indonesian, not in Sasak; the amount of literature both in the form of fiction and poetry and others is still very limited. The limited material about literary genre texts has the consequence that learning about literary texts does not receive adequate attention. Based on these problems, this paper aims to discuss the text of the genre of folk literature in the Sasak language in terms of text structure, linguistic tools, and community values contained in it. Learning based on literary genre texts will support language skills and can help children understand the value and beauty of Sasak literature. The results of the study of literary genre texts are expected to help teachers prepare teaching materials for local content in the Sasak language

    Passive clauses argument structure of give verbs in corpus of contemporary American English (COCA)

    This study is entitled Passive Clauses Argument Structure of Give Verbs in Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA). It is concerned with the argument structure which is mapped to the grammatical relation. This study aimed to recognize the grammatical relations in passive clauses which have “give verbs”. This study is library research. The data of this study were taken from Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) which is concerned with passive clauses. To collect the data, the documentation method and note-taking technique were applied. The descriptive-qualitative method was applied in analyzing the data. The data were described and explained based on the theory argument structure and the theory of passive. Based on the analysis, the grammatical relation operated within passive clauses with the class of give verbs involves subject, object, and oblique. Verb feed, give, and pay in passive can be constructed with S-V, S-V-O, S-V-OBL, and S-V-O-OBL. However, the construction found with verb lease in passive is S-V and S-V-OBL. On the other hand, the possible construction found in verb lend in passive is S-V, S-V-OBL, and S-V-O

    This study aims to increase student interest in reading at SMK Pasundan 1 Serang City Class XI Multimedia 1, the use of electronic teaching media based on the flip builder application is made using the flip builder application. This study used qualitative descriptive research by observing students' reading interest levels and using data collection procedures in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation to check the validity of the data using data triangulation with the stages of source technique, time technique, and data technique. Based on the results of observations in this study, the use of electronic teaching media based on the flip builder application to increase students' reading interest, it can be concluded that electronic teaching materials using applications based on the flip builder application can be said to have increased in terms of students' reading interest

    The effect of using learning video media towards students’ study achievement of fiqh subject grade VII (research at state Islamic junior high school model Pasirsukarayat)

    This research aims to determine whether studying video media affects students' study accomplishment of Fiqh in grade 7 at State Islamic Junior High School Model Pasirsukarayat. The research is based on the assumption that students' study success is tied to the educational medium employed. Using learning material that engages and motivates students will impact their learning accomplishment. This study used a pretest-posttest two-group design. Observation, documentation, interview, and test are data collection methods. Based on the hypothesis significance test result, employing learning video media (t-count 2,58 t-table = 1,71) at the real level = 0.05 and the degree of freedom (df) = 78 has the lowest score = 7 and the maximum score = 10. The group that does not utilize learning video media scores (t-count 2,45 t-table = 1,71) at the actual level = 0,05 the degree of freedom (df) = 78 with the lowest score = 5 and the maximum score = 7. Ho is rejected, hence it may be concluded that utilizing learning video medium affects pupils' Fiqh grade 7 study success

    Code-mixing by Muna language speakers residing in Yogyakarta

    This study is concerned with code-mixing phenomenon on Muna language speakers at Wisma Pahlevi, Pogung Dalangan, Yogyakarta. The objective of the study is to find out and describe the types of code mixing in Muna language speakers’ utterances. The data of this study were collected through participation, recording, and noting, and then analyzed by using morphological, semantic, and syntactic analysis. The writer used these three kinds of analysis because Muna language is a unique one. It means that one word in Muna language sometimes can be one word or one morpheme only, a phrase, a clause or a simple sentence. Based on the writer interpretation, the result of the study shows that the types of code-mixing found on Muna language speakers’ utterances residing in Yogyakarta are only code mixing on word insertion, phrase insertion, clause insertion, and reduplication insertion

    Education and implementation of society 5.0 values in Cisadane Riverside communities towards clean rivers and a healthy environment

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of Society 5.0 values to the Cisadane riverbank community toward clean rivers and a healthy environment. And want to educate the people on the banks of the Cisadane river in implementing related values. This research method uses qualitative methods that are used to investigate, describe and find the object under study. The data collection technique is through (1). Interviews were conducted with informants. namely traders, the general public, and Rt and Rw administrators. (2). Observation, observing the events that occurred in the field around the Cisadane river, Tangerang, Cisauk, Kranggan. (3). Literacy studies in the form of documentation, archives, important notes, photographs, maps of the Cisadane River, and so on. The results of the research are the human resources of the Cisadane riverbank community, who can consistently create clean Cisadane rivers and healthy environments. A technological innovation starts from input, output, and outcome
