Investigation on Neutronic Parameters of the KLT-40S Reactor Core with U3Si2-FeCrAl using SCALE Code
From a safety point of view, the fuel-cladding of the current design of the KLT-40S reactor still carries a potential risk in the event of a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) allowing the formation of hydrogen gas. The concept of accident tolerant fuels (ATF) offers a variety of new safer fuel-cladding materials, one of which is U3Si2-FeCrAl, a potential fuel-cladding combination according to various research sources. In this research, a study of neutronic parameters (1) cycle length, (2) reactivity feedback coefficient, and (3) reactor proliferation resistance was performed with ATF material U3Si2-FeCrAl as fuel-cladding in the KLT-40S reactor core. Modeling and simulation of the ATF-fueled KLT-40S reactor core were performed using KENO-VI and TRITON modules from SCALE code. The results showed that replacement of the fuel-cladding material with the ATF material in the KLT-40S reactor resulted in a shorter cycle length, and the enrichment required to reproduce the original cycle length was above the safeguard limit. The fuel temperature, moderator temperature, and void reactivity coefficient were negative, although not as negative as the original ones. The spent fuel produced at the end of the cycle had good proliferation resistance, although not as good as the original one

The Economic and Safety Improvement Feasibility of Urban Ocean Fishing Port Modernization – Study Case of Nizam Zachman
The Nizam Zachman Jakarta Ocean Fishing Port (PPSNZJ), the largest fishing port in Indonesia, is currently experiencing overcapacity. This results in ships being moored in rows parallel to berths, indicating the insufficient number of berths in the port. This configuration poses a safety hazard due to the proximity of the moored ships, making it challenging to evacuate them in the event of a fire or other natural disasters. This study was conducted to propose an alternative concept for facility development in urban ocean fishing ports, with PPSNZJ as a study case. The study included a site visit to understand the actual berthing configuration of ships, data collection from the port technical execution unit, and observation of existing fish cargo handling operations. The collected data was analyzed to determine berth capacity and storage productivity, which was used to calculate the number of additional berths required to accommodate loading, unloading, and mooring ships. Based on the design calculations, an alternative development layout is proposed, which fulfils the berth capacity and safety requirements. This study also revealed that the development cost is relatively competitive compared to similar projects
WSN-IoT Forecast: Wireless Sensor Network Throughput Prediction Framework in Multimedia Internet of Things
Accurate throughput predictions can significantly improve the quality of experience (QoE), where QoE denotes a network’s capacity to provide satisfactory service. By increasing the results of good throughput predictions, the best strategy can be planned for managing data transmission networks with the aim of better and faster data transmission, thereby increasing QoE. Consequently, this paper investigates how to predict the throughput of wireless sensor networks utilizing multimedia data. First, we conducted a comparative analysis of relevant prior research on the topic of throughput prediction in Multimedia Internet of Things (Multimedia IoT). We developed a throughput prediction framework for wireless sensor networks based on what we learned from these studies using machine learning. The Throughput Prediction Framework identifies historical throughput data and employs these traits to predict throughput. In the final phase, multiple camera nodes and local servers are utilized to test a framework for throughput prediction. Our analysis demonstrates that WSN-IoT predictions are quite precise. For a 1-second time breakdown, the average absolute percentage error for all investigated scenarios ranges from 1 to 8 percent
Pengaruh Aktivitas Jasmani melalui Sepak Bola terhadap Kepercayaan Diri Orang dengan HIV Positif
Abstract
Self-confidence is a feeling of confidence in one's abilities without fear and being able to solve all life's challenges without comparing them with the abilities of others. This statement does not apply to people with HIV-positive because the stigma attached to them by society, such as groups of sinners, guilty, recipients of curses, and even torment, lower their self-confidence of people with HIV-positive. Physical activity through football has an important role in changing stigma and is a way for people with HIV-positive to be accepted by society regardless of their status. This study aims to determine the effect of physical activity through football on the self-confidence of people with HIV-positive. The research uses causal-comparative or ex post facto research methods. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 5 people with HIV-positive who participated in football activities. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire using a Likert Scale. Based on the validity test of a valid questionnaire as many as 28 items out of 50 statement items and reliability test results obtained 0.722021 and included in the reliable criteria. Processing and analyzing data, it was found that the score of people with HIV-positive who took part in football activities was 514 from a maximum score of 700 after the percentage of the results was 73.43%. Thus, researchers can conclude that physical activity through football can affect the self-confidence of people with HIV-positive.

Modification of Culvert Design on Discharge Channel: A Case Study in Indonesian Coal-Fired Power Plant
The construction of a new CFPP in Indonesia, which was located next to three existing power plants and utilized an existing discharge channel, faced the problem of insufficient capacity of the existing discharge channel to deliver water to four power plants. The problem occurred not only because of the overcapacity of the cooling water flow proposed by the new CFPP but also because of the small size of the culvert located in the discharge channel. This paper discusses several methods to overcome this problem by enlarging the culvert area or by removing the culvert from the channel and replacing it with a bridge. A hydraulic study was investigated using the HEC-RAS software by utilizing inputs obtained from the existing channel geometry and flow measurement data. It was found that additional culverts on both sides with a size of 2 m x 4 m and 3 m x 1 m could reduce the water level by 1.12 m and 0.39 m, respectively. Meanwhile, removing the culvert provided a significant water level reduction of 1.39 m. Enlarging the culvert was chosen as the solution to the discharge channel capacity issue since removing the culvert would require temporarily closing the channel during construction and stopping the operation of the existing power plant
Solution Mapping Tools: Identifying a Bottom-Up Approach to Social Innovation
A bottom-up approach to social innovation arises from the issues at the root of the innovation, which usually originates in the lower middle class. An essential approach to design for social innovation is to manage projects with identifiable organizational stakeholders considering relationships in the context of power holders and empowering socially vulnerable and marginalized communities. In local contexts, community participation processes can support grassroots movements toward sustainable systems where the focus is on more complex situations. For a better understanding, the Solution Mapping Tool is explored in this paper through a case study of a workshop held in the least-developed region of Indonesia. The workshop focused on inventing a bamboo distillation device for Moke, a traditional alcoholic beverage made from fermented palm fruits. Using the Solution Mapping Tools, learners were inspired to explore and discover the diverse solutions that communities use and generate daily. The tool helps everyday solutions become visible and identifiable regarding needs, assets, problems and challenges, benefits, and opportunities for the future. The Solution Mapping Tools can also increase learners’ empathy towards people, including communities, by providing a place to learn about their daily lives, experiential knowledge, and context. This paper extends existing publications on distributing and learning about local assets as a pre-design process before applying a participatory-based approach.
Study of Aquatic Sedimentation Using Electromagnetic Modeling in Flood Hazard Mitigation Scheme
The accumulation of sediment in aquatic environments can lead to an increase in flood risk due to raised floodplains and water levels. Electromagnetic modeling techniques, such as Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) resistivity or lithological conductivity contrast, can be utilized to detect changes in the subsurface. In this study, we investigated the use of TDEM in flood hazard mitigation schemes by developing a 1-D forward modeling program for the central loop configuration in an aquatic environment using the Adaptive Born Forward Mapping (ABFM) method. The program was tested in various environmental conditions, i.e., freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater, to determine its response. The objective is to prevent natural disasters, particularly flooding caused by sedimentation. The TDEM models can generate images of sediment thickness, providing a sensitive response in saltwater environments and enabling the detection of changes in depth compared to other aquatic environments. Overall, this study demonstrated the potential of TDEM as a valuable tool in flood hazard mitigation schemes
