    Magnetoresistance Features at the Magnetic Field-Induced Phase Transition in FeRh Thin Films

    The causes of the appearance of first-order magnetic phase transitions remain a mystery. FeRh alloy is a classical material where a first-order magnetic phase transition occurs. The authors of this article studied the phase transition from the antiferromagnetic state to the ferromagnetic state in FeRh alloy. Comparison of the magnetometry and transport properties results allowed us to determine a number of differences in the mechanisms of the phase evolution during magnetic field and temperature induced transition. This article notes the priority of the rearrangement of the micromagnetic structure of the ferromagnetic phase as a result of the induction of a phase transition by a magnetic field. The main feature of the magnetic field induced phase transition compared to the temperature induced one is the change in the micromagnetic structure of the ferromagnetic phase. The growth of a ferromagnetic phase with less scattering fields leads to asymmetric behavior when a phase transition is induced near the metastable state. We also focused on the importance of taking into account the effect of magnetostriction when analyzing the evolution of the phase transition, which leads to the irreversibility of the phase transition near a zero magnetic field

    A Comparative Survey of Female Figures in Persian Miniatures: Studying Form, Color and Content of Miniatures by Moein Mosaver and Hosein Behzad

    Moein Mosaver and Hosein Behzad depicted beauty in the form of female figures using their unique ways of applying form, color, and content. The purpose of the present research was to study the way female figures are drawn in works of Mosaver and Behzad, compare them, and find out the relationship between them to finally answer the main research question, which concerns finding the similarities and differences between the works of both artists in form, color, and content. The method of the research was qualitative, the way the data was processed was descriptive-analytic, and the information was gathered through library sources. Regarding the time gap between the lives of saver and Behzad, it seems there should be similarities and differences between their miniatures. The results of the research showed that the composition in the works of both artists is mostly vertical and centralized, and the primary color blue and the secondary colors green, purple, and orange are mostly used. Foreign influences and the impact of the economic conditions are obvious in their works. Some of the differences between their works are the application of more primary and warm colors in Mosaver’s works and less variety of color in Behzad’s, while the latter’s lines are freer. Behzad also used perspective in his miniatures, and he preferred content over form

    Role of Online Community Feedback in Creating the Image of Tourist Destinations

    This study investigates the impact of user generated content on online platforms, mainly known as Online Community Feedback (OCF). This study aims to highlight the importance of OCF in developing destination image. Content and feedback given by past visitors are more trustworthy as compare to any other information sources including advertisements by site managers or information from government ministries. Based on this phenomena authors of this paper have categorized and analyzed the feedback and comments of past tourist of Gilgit Baltistan Region of Pakistan. Authors have adopted unstructured approach and manual approach to categorize the feedback into different parameters. Based on those, several recommendations are made to government officials and tourist site managers to bring improvements on the site so that future tourists may choose that place for their next visit.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis identitas visual Partai Golkar menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan teknik analisis konten. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa gambar logo Partai Golkar dan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan identitas visual Partai Golkar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan logo Partai Golkar memiliki makna yang mendalam dan kompleks. Penggunaan simbol dan warna pada logo merefleksikan nilai-nilai seperti stabilitas, kesejahteraan, kerja keras, perdamaian, dan ideologi Pancasila. Analisis semiotika Barthes terhadap logo Partai Golkar dapat menghasilkan interpretasi tiga tingkatan, yaitu konotatif, denotatif, dan mitos. Mitos yang terbentuk di masyarakat akan menjadi sistem semiologis yang membentuk nilai-nilai partai tersebut. Penggunaan teori semiotika dapat membantu memahami makna visual logo Partai Golkar dan merespons pesan yang disampaikan melalui logo tersebut. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan studi desain komunikasi visual dan semiotika, serta pengembangan identitas visual bagi partai politik di Indonesia.kata kunci: identitas visual, semiotika, logo, Partai Golkar, Pancasila This research aims to analyze the visual identity of the Golkar Party using Roland Barthes’ semiotics theory through descriptive analytics with content analysis techniques. Golkar Party logo and documents related to the visual identity of the Golkar Party are used as data. The results show that the Golkar Party logo has deep and complex meanings. The use of symbols and colors in the logo reflects values such as stability, prosperity, hard work, peace, and the Pancasila ideology. Barthes’ semiotics analysis of the Golkar Party logo can produce interpretations at three levels: connotative, denotative, and myth. The myths formed in society will become a semiological system that shapes the values of the political party.The use of semiotics theory can help understand the visual meaning of the Golkar Party logo and respond to the messages conveyed through the logo. This research is expected to contribute to the development of visual communication design and semiotics studies, as well as the development of visual identities for political parties in Indonesia.Keywords: visual identity, semiotics, logo, Golkar, PancasilaIdeologi mencakup sistem gagasan, nilai, dan keyakinan yang membentuk pandangan dunia dan mengarahkan tindakan serta perilaku individu atau kelompok dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran ideologi dalam logo partai politik sebagai simbolisme Pancasila dalam representasi visual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif terhadap logo partai golkar, dengan fokus pada simbolisme Pancasila yang tercermin dalam logo tersebut. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi aspek-aspek visual dalam simbol-simbol politik, seperti warna, gambar, dan desain garis yang digunakan dalam lambang partai politik. Serta menggunakan pendekatan semiotik Roland Barthes menghubungkannya dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila yang mewakili ideologi dasar negara. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang peran simbolisme Pancasila dalam logo partai politik sebagai representasi visual ideologi. Melalui penggunaan simbol dan elemen visual yang tepat, logo partai politik mampu menyampaikan pesan ideologi dan nilai-nilai yang ingin disampaikan kepada masyarakat.     Selection of Material and Manufacturing Technology for Batik Canting Stamps Based on Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Methods

    This study aimed to develop alternative materials and technologies for making canting stamps used in producing batik canting (stamped batik) to transfer hot wax from the pan to the fabric. Previous researchers have studied materials such as wood, aluminum, multiplex, acrylic, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Manufacturing technologies have also been analyzed, including manual manufacturing, computer numerical control (CNC) milling, laser cutting, and additive manufacturing. However, none of these materials and technologies were considered suitable alternatives for copper canting stamps. This paper proposes Conductive ABS-Electroformed By Copper (CABS-EBC) through additive manufacturing and electroforming processes as alternative material for canting stamps. A multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach was used to assess alternative materials and technologies. The alternatives and criteria were calculated using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Preference Ranking Organization Method of Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) techniques. Besides this, assessment was also carried out based on expert opinions. The results showed that copper was the most suitable material, with Closeness = 1.000, Yi = 0.995, and Phi = +1.00. Meanwhile, CABS-EBC ranked second, with Closeness = 0.627, Yi = 0.864, and Phi = +0.50. The selected technology was additive manufacturing combined with electroforming, with Closeness = 0.700, Yi = 0.895, and Phi = +0.39. By using MCDM on the material-technology development candidates it was found that CABS-EBC processed with additive manufacturing is capable of substituting copper as a canting stamp material. It is expected that the production capacity of the traditional manufacturing process can be enhanced by adopting these new materials and technologies

    Reducing Numerical Dispersion with High-Order Finite Difference to Increase Seismic Wave Energy: -

    The numerical dispersion of 2D acoustic wave modeling has become an interesting subject in wave modeling in producing better subsurface images. Numerical dispersion is often caused by error accumulation with increased grid size in wave modeling. Wave modeling with high-order finite differences was carried out to reduce the numerical error. This study focused on variations in the numerical order to suppress the dispersion due to numerical errors. The wave equation used in modeling was discretized to higher orders for the spatial term, while the time term was discretized up to the second order, with every layer unabsorbed. The results showed that high-order FD was effective in reducing numerical dispersion. Thus, subsurface layers could be distinguished and observed clearly. However, from the modeling results, the wave energy decreased with increasing distance, so the layer interfaces were unclear. To increase the wave energy, we propose a new source in modeling. Furthermore, to reduce the computational time we propose a proportional grid after numerical dispersion has disappeared. This method can effectively increase the energy of reflected and transmitted waves at a certain depth. The results also showed that the computational time of high-order FD is relatively low, so this method can be used in solving dispersion problems

    Desain Simulasi Interface Pistol G2 COMBAT Kal. 9 mm dengan Simulator Pimp My Gun

    The development of firearms has been included as an introduction and use at the University of Defense. However, using firearms that are not used freely is a barrier for students to understand the ins and outs of firearms better. Therefore, in this research, firearms are replaced with interface simulation design. One firearm that needs to be designed for interface simulation is the G2 Combat pistol. The reason for using the G2 Combat pistol in making an interface simulation design is because the Indonesian armed forces have widely used it. The interface simulation design uses Pimp My Gun software. The method of designing the G2 Combat pistol interface simulation uses the waterfall method. The waterfall method is considered easy and systematic. After the interface simulation design is carried out, the results are compared with the original item or image, photo, and others. Assessment of the G2 Combat pistol interface simulation design with the original pistol by comparing and finding the level of similarity. The assessment results are 87.61% at imgonline.com and 86.14% at blue2digital.com. With two assessment results close to 100%, the G2 Combat pistol interface simulation design is successful. However, there still needs to be improvements so that the interface simulation design is even better in the future.Perkembangan senjata api sudah masuk dalam pengenalan dan penggunaan di Universitas Pertahanan. Namun, penggunaannya yang tidak secara bebas menjadi penghalang bagi mahasiswa untuk lebih memahami seluk beluk senjata api. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini senjata api digantikan dengan desain simulasi interface. Salah satu senjata api yang perlu didesain simulasi interface adalah pistol G2 Combat. Alasan penggunaan pistol G2 Combat dibuat desain simulasi interface adalah sudah digunakan secara luas bagi angkatan bersenjata Indonesia. Desain simulasi interface tersebut menggunakan software Pimp My Gun. Metode pendesainan simulasi interface pistol G2 Combat menggunakan metode waterfall. Hal ini dikarenakan metode waterfall dinilai mudah dan sistematis. Setelah dilakukan desain simulasi interface, maka hasilnya dibandingkan dengan barang aslinya atau gambar, foto dan lain-lain. Penilaian desain simulasi interface pistol G2 Combat dengan pistol aslinya dengan cara membandingkan dan mencari tingkat kesamaan. Hasil penilaian tersebut ada dua penilaian yaitu 87,61% di imgonline.com dan 86,14% pada blue2digital.com. Dengan dua hasil penilaian yang mendekati nilai 100%, maka desain simulasi interface pistol G2 Combat ini berhasil dilakukan. Namun, tetap perlu adanya peningkatan-peningkatan agar desain simulasi interface semakin lebih baik lagi kedepannya

    Kajian Desain Awal: Identifikasi Kebutuhan Pengguna dan Penentuan Target Spesifikasi Produk Modul Konversi Kit Sepeda Motor Listrik

    The urgency of this research is that Indonesian people still have low interest in using electric motorbikes, indicating that sales of electric motorbikes in Indonesia are still low. Indonesian people are skeptical about electric motorbikes due to their battery life and the relatively higher price than conventional motorbikes. In this research, an additional EM module product was designed as a solution to answer these doubts. This research is an initial design process aimed at obtaining target product specifications for additional EM modules from the results of identifying user needs as a basis for the subsequent design process. The additional EM module product applies an EM conversion system that is installed on the ICEM product without losing its original ability to use a gasoline energy source, thereby minimizing procurement costs using electric motor technology on conventional motorbikes and without worrying about running out of battery when in use. This research uses the front-end activity design method to design additional EM module products and produces 30 customer needs with percentage levels of importance and 24 product specification target metrics in marginal and ideal values to be used as abasis for the subsequent design process.Penjualan motor listrik Indonesia masih rendah pada 31.827 unit (2022), Indonesia memiliki >20 perusahaan sepedamotor listrik dan target pemerintah memproduksi 2.000.000 unit (2025). Masyarakat Indonesia masih ragu dengan sepeda motor listrik baik dari ketahanan baterai hingga harga relatif lebih mahal daripada sepedamotor konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat kajian awal identifikasi kebutuhan pelanggan dan penentuan target spesifikasi produk modul tambahan motor listrik. Produk ini praktis dipasangkan pada motor konvensional sehingga dapat berfungsi sebagai sepedamotor listrik dan konvensional berbahan bakar bensin sebagai alternatif solusi keraguan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perancangan dan pengembangan produk (Kart T. Ulrich dan Steven D.Eppinger). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 30 kebutuhan pelanggan dengan persentase tingkat kepentingan dan 24 metrik target spesifikasi produk dalam nilai marginal dan ideal yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar proses perancangan selanjutnya

    Magnetic Characterization of Fine Sediment in the Solo Basin Indonesia

    The magnetic characteristics of fine sediment samples from the Solo Basin are reported in this paper. Magnetic fine sediment was identified by magnetic susceptibility mapping based on sampling of 182 points. Then, a depth analysis (on 7 selected sampling points) was performed using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, which showed an iron oxide content of up to 55.42%, while X-ray diffractometry confirmed magnetite minerals with crystallite size ≤100 nm. Further, the vibrating sample magnetometry results verified the magnetic characteristics under a single-domain configuration. The characteristic magnetic susceptibility map showed that there is a lithogenic effect on sediment in the Solo Basin. In addition, anthropogenic activities seem to play a pivotal role in distributing magnetic materials

    The Primer Design and Optimization of Annealing Temperature for Analysis of Glutathione Reductase Gene Expression in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

    Glutathione Reductase (GR) belongs to the NADPH-dependent flavoprotein oxidoreductase family and is found in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The GR gene is considered to play a key role in the elimination of oxidative reaction products by looking at the level of gene expression of GR rice in dealing with  drought stress using qPCR. One of the important steps to develop a specific, effective and efficient qPCR is the primer design. Several studies analyzing GR gene expression in rice have also designed primers. However, the primer still lacks an ideal characteristic of primer, as it still has a secondary structure. This studies aims to design rice GR specific primers and optimize the annealing temperature for GR gene expression analysis on rice. Primers were designed using the  Primer3 and Geneious Prime and checked for specificity using the Primer-BLAST tool. The selected primer pairs were then optimized for annealing  temperature using gradient PCR. The best primer design results were GR-Forward 5’-ACGATTGCAGCCAGTGAAGA-3’ and GR-Reverse 5’-TGCGGCAATACTATCAACATCC-3’, with an amplicon length of 204 bp, primer base lengths of 20 and 22 nucleotides, Tm values of 60°C and 58.9°C, %GC of 50% and 45.5%, respectively. This primer pair had no secondary structure, both hairpin and self dimer. Gradient PCR showed the optimum annealing temperature for this primer pair was 52.2oC so that the primer can be used as a specific primer to analyze  the GR gene expression in rice using qPCR
