Effect of Temperature, Holding Time, and Addition of Sn on Density on Metal Injection Molding Sintering Process
Metal injection molding (MIM) is a metal forming technique that combines powder metallurgy with plastic injection molding. MIM is very efficient in manufacturing small and complex products in large quantities. The MIM process has four steps: mixing, debinding, injection molding, and sintering. This research was conducted to determine the effect of variations in Sn addition, temperature, and holding time on the density of Al-PP products after the sintering process. Density is mass per volume so to find out the volume of Al-PP products, the use of a 3D scanner was attempted along with the EinScan application and a mesh mixer. The Taguchi method was used for data processing to determine the influence of variations in Sn addition, temperature, and holding time on density. The calculation of the percentage contribution showed that variations in Sn addition, temperature, and holding time affected density by 47%, 21%, and 3%. Also, 2% Sn addition yielded a reasonably good microstructure formation compared to without Sn addition and 1% Sn addition, where many voids remained in the specimen (the more significant the voids, the lower the density)
Shallow S-wave Velocity Profile Estimation using Surface Velocity and Microtremor HVSR with a Linear Velocity Increase Approach
We propose a simple method for 1D S-wave velocity (Vs) profile estimation using a measured surface S-wave velocity (V1) and peak frequency of the observed microtremor horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio (HVSR). In this method, the S-wave velocity profile is presented as linear velocity increase with depth in sediments over a bedrock layer that has a given constant S-wave velocity. Thus, the profile can be parameterized with the measured surface S-wave velocity and the velocity gradient. The gradient can be estimated based on the agreement of the peak frequencies of the observed microtremor HVSR and the theoretical ellipticity of the fundamental mode of the Rayleigh wave. We examined the applicability of the proposed method using numerical tests as well as application to actual data at five sites in the Bandung Basin, Indonesia, where observed Rayleigh wave phase velocities from microtremor array surveys were available. The applicability was confirmed in numerical tests using sample models of soil profiles in the basin. Actual application indicated the appropriateness of the estimated S-wave velocity profiles due to the similarity of their theoretical Rayleigh wave phase velocities with the observed Rayleigh wave phase velocities. Since the proposed method needs prior confirmation of the linear increase of the S-wave velocity, it is suitable for use in spatial interpolation of shallow S-wave velocity profiles with simple data acquisition
The Effect of Relocating Street Hawkers on Urban Vitality in the Malioboro Tourism Area, Yogyakarta
Since the 1970s, street hawkers have considered Malioboro an icon of the city of Yogyakarta. Malioboro has become increasingly crowded. Seeing this condition, a decision was made to relocate the street hawkers from the Malioboro corridor. This decision has pros and cons; some consider street hawkers to be a place for creativity, a sector that greatly affects the level of crowds and is the main attraction for the Malioboro area. However, few people consider it a barrier to the original face of the Malioboro corridor. Urban vitality is an important aspect of increasing visitor interest; it relates to comfort, security, safety, and fun as the main indicators. This study aims to examine the impact of the relocation decision on the vitality of Malioboro as a tourist area. Using qualitative methods, this study compared the reality through field surveys and online questionnaires that had been distributed for one week to a total of 61 respondents who had ever visited Malioboro with the theory of urban vitality and urban tourism precincts. To get a conclusion on whether the Yogyakarta city government’s decision to relocate the street hawkers from Malioboro Street can maintain or even reduce Malioboro’s urban vitality.Sejak tahun 1970-an, pedagang kaki lima menganggap Malioboro sebagai ikon kota Yogyakarta, Malioboro menjadi semakin ramai, beberapa pengunjung menganggap kehadiran PKL ini mengurangi keindahan jalan Malioboro. Melihat kondisi tersebut, diambil keputusan untuk merelokasi pedagang kaki limadari koridor Jalan Malioboro. Keputusan ini memberikan pro dan kontra, beberapa menganggap pedagang asongan sebagai wadah kreativitas, sektor yang sangat mempengaruhi tingkat keramaian dan menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi kawasan Malioboro. Namun, tidak sedikit yang menganggapnya sebagai penghalang wajah asli koridor Malioboro. Urban vitality merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan minat pengunjung, hal ini berkaitan dengan kenyamanan, keamanan, keselamatan, dan kesenangan sebagai indikator utama khususnya di kawasan wisata. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak keputusan relokasi terhadap vitalitas Malioboro sebagai kawasan wisata. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini akan membandingkan realitas melalui survei lapangan dan kuesioner online, dengan teori urban vitality dan kawasan wisata kota. Untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan, apakah vitalitas Jalan Malioboro sebagai kawasan wisata meningkat? Dan apakah hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap peningkatanpengunjung

The 21st century’s skills-based education is called the knowledge era, and every academic graduate must be prepared to compete with the outside world. So, at this time, ready-to-use citizenship competence is needed to be a citizen who is not left behind with the progress of the times. This study used a qualitative approach, and the object of this study was a vocational high school (SMK), with data collection consisting of interviews, observations, and literature studies with locations in Bandung. A total of 15 informants were involved, divided into school principals, teachers, and students. The results in the field show that the PPKn learning material in vocational high schools is too broad and there is overlapping material, so civic competence must be increased according to the needs of the times. 21st century, digital literacy, technology, and character.Pendidikan berbasis keterampilan abad 21 disebut era pengetahuan, dan setiap lulusan akademik harus siap untuk berkompeten dengan dunia luar. Maka saat ini dibutuhkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan yang siap pakai, agar tidak menjadi warga negara yang tertinggal dengan kemajuan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur dengan lokasi di Bandung. Sebanyak 15 informan dilibatkan yang terbagi atas kepala sekolah, guru, sesama guru, dan siswa. Hasil di lapangan terlihat bahwa pada materi, metode, media, sumber, dan evaluasi mata pelajaran PPKn di SMK dalam peningkatan kompetensi kewarganegaraan harus ditingkatkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman, Dalam artikel ini kami berpendapat bahwa untuk mengembangkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan yang lebih baik dalam pendidikan kejuruan harus ada pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan abad ke-21, literasi digital, teknologi, dan karakter
Study of an Indirect Injection (IDI) Diesel Engine Using Pure Coconut Oil, Pure Tamanu Oil and B-20 for Smart Microgrid Applications Part II: Pilot Testing
The Smart Microgrid (SMG) can be used as a solution to overcome problems with electrical distribution on remote islets. The SMG system allows for a combination of conventional and renewable energy for power generation. Biofuel was chosen as a renewable energy source because of its abundant availability and ease of mobilization. This study examined the performance of B-20, Pure Tamanu Oil (PTO), and Pure Coconut Oil (PCO) in an IDI diesel engine that acts as a backup for SMG systems in the Karimunjawa Islands. The entire SMG system consists of: diesel engine, stabilizer, inverter, PV, batteries, ice maker, and a channel to the electrical grid. The results show that PTO has the highest value of thermal efficiency, that of 17.38%, but with a higher BSFC of 0.54 kg/kWh when compared to B-20 usage (14.69% and 0.51 kg/kWh). According to performance test results, their performance can be compared to the first part of this twin paper, which is laboratory testing, with a range of 2400-3200 W loads. Penggunaan Media Gambar Langkah Kaki Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pencak Silat Seni Tepak Tilu Jalan Muka Satu
Abstract
Learning media has a big enough role in efforts to improve learning outcomes. Pencak silat is one of the sports that is studied in schools as part of efforts to preserve national culture, however, learning pencak silat is often learning material that is considered old-fashioned and boring and movements that are quite difficult for students because the movements must be memorized in pencak silat. silat is quite diverse, especially in the category of ibing martial arts, so that it has an impact on learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of media images of footsteps on the learning outcomes of the pencak silat art of tap tilu one way street in high school students. This study uses the experimental method, the research design used in this study is the Posttest Only Control Design. The research sample was class X high school students with a total of 30 people. The research instrument uses the standard assessment of the national jury referee in the ibing category. Based on the research results obtained (1) the learning outcomes using the normality test show that the value (L count) in the post-test of the two
classes is smaller than the table value with degrees of freedom (α = 0.05). This means that the variances of the two samples are the same or homogeneous. (2) Then the calculation of the t-test in table 4.5 obtained a significance value at the time of the posttest, a significance value of 2.36 ˃ 1.753 was obtained, then H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a significant difference in the effect of learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group, it can be explained that the implementation of media images of footsteps has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of pencak silat, the art of tepak tilu, one way face for students in senior high schools..

Media pembelajaran memiliki peranan cukup besar dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar. Pencak silat adalah salah satu cabang olahraga yang di pelajari di sekolah sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian budaya bangsa,akan tetapi pembelajaran pencak silat ini sering menjadi materi pembelajaran yang dianggap kuno dan membosankan serta gerakan yang cukup sulit bagi siswa karna gerakan yang harus di hafalkan dalam pencak silat cukup beragam,terutama dalam kategori pencak silat seni ibing,sehingga berdampak pada hasil bejar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi media gambar langkah kaki terhadap hasil belajar pencak silat seni tepak tilu jalan muka satu pada siswa Sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimen, desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Postest Only Control Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa sekolah menengah atas kelas X dengan jumlah 30 orang. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan penilaian baku wasit juri nasional kategori ibing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh (1) hasil pembelajaran menggunakan uji normalitas terlihat bahwa nilai ( L hitung ) pada post tes dari kedua kelas lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan nilai tabel dengan derajat kebebasan (α = 0,05).Artinya variansi dari kedua sampel adalah sama atau homogen. (2) Kemudian perhitungan uji-t pada tabel 4.5 diperoleh nilai signifikasi pada saat posttest, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 2,36 ˃ 1,753 maka H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan pengaruh hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, maka dapat dijelaskan bahwa implementasi media gambar langkah kaki memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap hasil pembelajaran pencak silat seni tepak tilu jalan muka satu pada siswa di Sekolah menengah atas.

ILUSI ANAMORPHIC PADA MEDIA BILLBOARD 3D
The phenomenon of animating Calico Cat anamorphic on 3D billboards that started in Shinjuku-Tokyo, Japan spread rapidly throughout the world, including Indonesia. A digitally engineered Calico cat plays and attracts the attention of visitors to the Shinjuku area to stop and enjoy an optical illusion displayed on the digital billboard screen of the Cross Shinjuku-Tokyo building, Japan. The resulting optical illusion called anamorphic gives a sensation to the audience that sees the displayed object as if it has volume and also interactive. This study aims to dissect how optical illusions from anamorphic animation are constructed to enrich vocabulary in the advertising and multimedia creative industries. This study examines the illusions produced through literature studies and visual observation of coverage of the 3D animation of the Shinjuku Calico Cat uploaded on the YouTube platform. These optical illusions are studied with theories from the Psychology of Perception and Visual Communication, especially through the theory of Gestalt and Visual Language. The optical illusions produced are deceptive effects on the eye senses (trompe-l'oeil) which play distance cues through anamorphic, virtual space cues through occlusion, and the application of digital technology both in the aspect of selecting and producing content with cat characters as well as aspects of public presentations. However, this phenomenon has become viral due to uploaders on social media whose role is to spread this illusion worldwide.Fenomena animasi anamorphosis Kucing Calico pada papan reklame 3D yang dimulai di Shinjuku-Tokyo, Jepang menyebar dengan pesat ke seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Seekor kucing Calico yang direkayasa secara digital, bermain dan menarik atensi pengunjung kawasan Shinjuku untuk berhenti dan menikmati ilusi optik yang ditayangkan pada layar papan reklame digital gedung Cross Shinjuku-Tokyo, Jepang. Ilusi optik yang disebut anamorphosis yang dihasilkan memberikan sensasi kepada audiens yang melihat objek yang ditampilkan seakan memiliki volume dan mampu berinteraksi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membedah bagaimana ilusi optic dari animasi anamorphosis dikonstruksi untuk memperkaya vocabulary dalam industry kreatif periklanan dan multimedia. Penelitian ini menelaah ilusi yang dihasilkan melalui studi literatur dan observasi visual atas liputan mengenai animasi 3D Kucing Calico Shinjuku yang diunggah pada platform youtube. Ilusi otik tersebut dikaji dengan teori dari Psikologi Persepsi dan Komunikasi visual khususnya melalui teori Gestalt dan Bahasa Rupa. Adapun ilusi optik yang dihasilkan adalah efek penipuan pada indera mata (trompe-l’oeil) yang memainkan isyarat jarak melalui anamorphosis, isyarat ruang virtual melalui oklusi, dan penerapan teknologi digital baik dalam aspek pemilihan dan produksi konten dengan tokoh kucing maupun aspek presentasi publik. Akan tetapi fenomena ini menjadi viral disebabkan oleh para pengunggah di media sosial yang berperan untuk menyebarluaskan ilusi ini menjadi mendunia
KAJIAN PERSEPSI VISUAL PENGGUNA PETA DIAGRAM RUTE KRL JABODETABEK
Jakarta and its surrounding supporting cities are intertwined with the electric train transportationsystem known as the Jabodetabek KRL. In using this rail-based mass transportation facility, currentusers/prospective users are assisted by wayfinding information signs in the form of a diagrammaticmap of the Jabodetabek KRL route. One of the official route maps currently in use is the four-way(north-south, east-west) route simplification map. As a result of the simplification of the visualizationof space and distance, navigation confusion occurs on the map, where the positions of station points /between stations and geographical locations are very inaccurate / far from the actual spatialconditions. This of course will distract the basic ability of the user's spatial cognition. This study triesto explore the problems of visual perception and non-verbal communication between users (assubjects) and currently used KRL information signs (as objects) that occur as a result of the variety andmethod of visualization. Using the method of direct observation of the object under study andcomparing it with the spatial conditions of the official geographic map of Jabodetabek, then proceedwith a confirmation process to users (respondents) regarding the misperceptions that have occurred.The results of this study are expected to provide input to the designer of the Jabodetabek KRL routediagram map to pay attention to the fundamental problems of opportunities for misperceptions thatoccur and to improve the communication presentation in the next publication of the route diagrammap.Kota Jakarta dan kota penyangga di sekitarnya terjalin dengan sistem transportasi kereta listrik yangdikenal dengan KRL Jabodetabek. Dalam menggunakan fasilitas transportasi massal berbasis reltersebut, para pengguna / calon pengguna saat ini dibantu oleh tanda informasi wayfinding berupapeta diagram rute KRL jabodetabek. Salah satu peta rute resmi yang saat ini digunakan adalah petasimplifikasi rute empat arah (utara-selatan, timur-barat). Akibat penyederhanaan visualisasi ruangdan jarak, terjadi Kerancuan navigasi pada peta tersebut, dimana posisi titik-titik stasiun / antarstasiun dan letak geografis menjadi sangat tidak akurat / jauh dari kondisi spatial kenyataan nya. Halini tentunya akan mendistraksi kemampuan dasar kognisi spatial pengguna.Kajian ini mencoba menelusuri permasalahan persepsi visual dan komunikasi non-verbal antarapengguna (sebagai subjek) dengan tanda informasi KRL yang digunakan saat ini (sebagai objek) yangterjadi akibat ragam dan cara visualisasi tersebut. Menggunakan metode pengamatan langsungterhadap objek yang diteliti dan membandingkan dengan kondisi spatial dari peta geografis resmiJabodetabek, lalu dilanjutkan dangan melakukan proses konfirmasi kepada pengguna (responden)mengenai mispersepsi yang terjadi. Hasil dari kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan input kepadaperancang peta diagram rute KRL jabodetabek untuk memperhatikan permasalahan mendasar daripeluang mispersepsi yang terjadi dan memperbaiki sajian komunikasi pada terbitan peta diagram ruteyang akan datang
Penerapan Community-Based Tourism di Desa Budo, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara
Budo Tourism Village is located in North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. This tourist village which is included in the top 50 at the 2022 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) has tourism potential in the form of natural and cultural attractions. The Budo Tourism Village was initiated by the village community by working with the government and academics to develop their tourism potential into tourist attractions and encourage the formation of tourist destinations which then gave birth to tourism activities whose management is carried out by the community (community-based tourism). The research was conducted to determine how far the implementation of Community-Based Tourism was carried out in the Budo Tourism Village based on the 10 stages of Community-Based Tourism Development.Desa Wisata Budo terletak di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, Sulawesi Utara. Desa wisata yang masuk dalam 50 besar pada ajang Anugerah Desa Wisata Indonesia (ADWI) 2022 ini memiliki potensi pariwisata berupa daya tarik alam dan budaya. Desa Wisata Budo diinisiasi oleh masyarakat desa dengan cara berupaya menggandeng pemerintah dan akademisi untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata yang dimiliki menjadi atraksi wisata dan mendorong pembentukan destinasi wisata yang kemudian melahirkan aktivitas pariwisata yang pengelolaannya dilakukan oleh masyarakat (community-based tourism). Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan Community-Based Tourism dilaksanakan di Desa Wisata Budo berdasarkan 10 tahapan Community-Based Tourism Development
“Do We Think Alike?” – Experts’ Views on the Aesthetic Perception of Pua Kumbu Design Motifs’ Visual Complexity
Aesthetic perceptions are influenced by the formal aspects and visual substance of art, which prompt individuals to respond and reconsider their perspective. The purpose of this study was to evaluate experts’ aesthetic perceptions of the complexity of Pua Kumbu design motifs. The complexity of the symbols found in the design motifs contributes to a lack of interest in understanding the meanings of these motifs, particularly among the younger generation. Therefore, through the utilization of interviews with structured and unstructured questions, a qualitative technique was employed to investigate the experts’ aesthetic perception of the visual complexity of the design motifs. The findings provide a fundamental understanding and emphasize the importance of preserving traditional human values, with the hope that hand weaving, as a valuable heritage, will endure and maintain its significance in the long term
