    Efektivitas Latihan Ketepatan Servis Atas dengan Kick Pad vs Bola Gantung Sepak Takraw

    Training using kick pads and hanging balls are tools that are often used to improve the accuracy of top serves in the sport Sepak Takraw. Using these two tools simultaneously helps players develop control, strength and accuracy of serves which are very important in matches. The aim of this research is to find out which tool is most appropriate to use, between a kick pad or a modified hanging ball to improve the accuracy of the top serve in the Sepak Takraw sport. This research used an experimental research method of two group pre test - post test design using research subjects of Sepak Takraw extracurricular students at State High School (SMA) 4 Gorontalo, totaling ten students, with the determination of groups for the kick pad and hanging ball groups carried out randomly. The instrument in this research uses a standardized Sepak Takraw service accuracy test with several sides numbered in accordance with the provisions of the instrument. The results of this research generally show that the use of these two tools can increase the accuracy of the top serve in the Sepak Takraw sport, but in terms of average percentage, the group that uses the kick pad is superior. The conclusion from this research is clear that the use of a kick pad tool is more recommended than a hanging ball modification tool, so it is necessary to carry out another research to find out a better tool to increase the accuracy of the top serve.Latihan menggunakan alat kick pad dan bola gantung merupakan alat yang sering dipakai untuk meningkatkan ketepatan servis atas dalam olahraga Sepak Takraw. Penggunaan kedua alat ini secara simultan membantu pemain dalam mengembangkan kontrol, kekuatan, dan akurasi servis yang sangat penting dalam pertandingan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui alat mana yang paling tepat digunakan antara kick pad atau modifikasi bola gantung untuk keperluan meningkatkan ketepatan servis atas pada cabang olahraga Sepak Takraw. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen two group pre test - post test design dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian siswa ekstrakurikuler Sepak Takraw di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 4 Gorontalo yang berjumlah sepuluh siswa dengan penentuan kelompok grub kick pad dan bola gantung dilakukan secara acak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji ketepatan servis Sepak Takraw yang telah baku dengan beberapa sisi diberi penomoran sesuai dengan ketentuan instrumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara umum bahwa penggunaan kedua alat ini dapat meningkatkan ketepatan servis atas dalam cabang olahraga Sepak Takraw, namun secara persentase rerata, kelompok yang memakai alat kick pad lebih unggul. Simpulan dari penelitian ini jelas bahwa pemakaian alat kick pad lebih disarankan daripada alat modifikasi bola gantung, sehingga perlu dilakukan sebuah penelitian lain untuk mengetahui alat yang lebih baik lagi untuk meningkatkan ketepatan servis atas

    Relationship of Land Cover Heterogeneity and Insecticide Use with Arthropod Community Structure in Rice Agroecosystems

    Rice agroecosystems generally experience two kinds of environmental stresses, i.e., a decrease in the heterogeneity of land vegetation types due to the development of settlements in the border zone and the excessive use of insecticides. Both of these factors are known to affect the structure of the arthropod community in rice agroecosystems. However, studies related to the effects of these two stresses in shaping the structure of arthropod communities have not been widely carried out, especially during the planting period in the rainy season. This study aims toanalyze the relationship between land cover heterogeneity and insecticide use with the taxonomic and functional diversity of arthropods in thealpha, beta, and gamma dimensions. The study was conducted during the rainy season (October–March) on four rice agroecosystem sites in Bandung, West Java. Data was collected 30 and 50 days after planting (DAP). Arthropod samples were identified, and their taxonomic andfunctional diversity was calculated using the Shannon entropy formula (D). In general, land cover heterogeneity was positively correlated withthe value of arthropod taxonomic and functional diversity, especially in the early vegetative phase of rice plants (30 DAP). In con- trast,insecticides (g/m2) were negatively correlated with the value of arthropod diversity. The composition of arthropod species locally was relativelythe same except in the rice agroecosystem with the lowest land cover heterogeneity and the highest use of insecticides. Additionally, thecoefficient value of the insecticide variable has more influence on the value of arthropod diversity than the variable coefficient of land coverheterogeneity

    Flood Prediction Based on Hydrological and Topographic Conditions Using Hec HMS 4.5 and Hec Ras 5. 0. 3 In The Toli - Toli Indonesia

    Abstract Floods in the Toli-toli area often occur due to the continued reduction in infiltration land. Flood events from year to year have a bigger impact and cause a lot of losses. The impact of this flood needs to be analyzed and its magnitude predicted so that the potential for flooding can be estimated. Flood handling can be addressed early on so that when a flood the losses are not so great. Flood prediction can be done by hydrological analysis using HEC HMS 4.5 and continued hydraulics using HEC RAS ​​5.0.3. Based on the incidence of rain over the last 10 years, it is known that the return period of rain in the Toli-toli area varies from a period of 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, and 15 years. Based on the calculation results, it is known that the flood in the Toli-toli area in the 2-year return period has a depth of 0.66 meters with a flood inundation area as shown in Figure 7 of this article. In overcoming this flood, efforts should be made to handle it with several alternatives such as increasing infiltration land, normalizing rivers, and so on. Keyword: Flood prediction, Toli-toli, hydrological, topographic. Abstrak Banjir di wilayah Toli-toli sering terjadi akibat terus berkurangnya lahan resapan. Peristiwa banjir dari tahun ke tahun memberikan dampak yang lebih besar dan menimbulkan banyak kerugian. Dampak banjir ini perlu dianalisis dan diprediksi besarannya sehingga potensi banjir dapat diperkirakan. Penanganan banjir dapat diatasi sejak dini sehingga ketika terjadi banjir kerugian yang ditimbulkan tidak begitu besar. Prediksi banjir dapat dilakukan dengan analisis hidrologi menggunakan HEC HMS 4.5 dan dilanjutkan hidrolika menggunakan HEC RAS 5.0.3. Berdasarkan kejadian hujan selama 10 tahun terakhir, diketahui periode ulang hujan di wilayah Toli-toli bervariasi mulai dari periode 2 tahun, 5 tahun, 10 tahun, dan 15 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diketahui banjir di wilayah Toli-toli periode ulang 2 tahun mempunyai kedalaman 0,66 meter dengan luas genangan banjir seperti terlihat pada Gambar 7 artikel ini. Dalam mengatasi banjir ini perlu dilakukan upaya penanganan dengan beberapa alternatif seperti memperbanyak lahan resapan, normalisasi sungai, dan lain sebagainya.     Pengaruh Ketidakberaturan Bentuk Bangunan Beton Bertulang Bertingkat Tinggi Terhadap Perilaku Seismik

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi perilaku bangunan beton bertulang bertingkat tinggi yang memiliki ketidakberaturan bentuk arah vertikal dan horizontal terhadap beban seismik. Ketidakberaturan bentuk bangunan gedung bertingkat tinggi memiliki pengaruh dalam menahan beban gempa. Keterbatasan lahan serta pertimbangan efek eastetik menyebabkan seringkali bangunan bertingkat tinggi didesain tanpa mempertimbangkan ketidakberaturan bentuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan bangunan gedung 12 lantai yang didesain dengan dua tipe ketidakberaturan horizontal yaitu berbentuk T dan U. Masing-masing ketidakberaturan horizontal memiliki 5 variasi ketidakberaturan vertikal, sehingga total variasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 model. Struktur frame di analisis menggunakan software STERA 3D untuk analisis  non-linier dinamik riwayat waktu. Tiga data gempa digunakan sebagai variasi beban seismik untuk masing-masing model yaitu data riwayat waktu gempa El-Centro, Kobe dan Parkfield. Perilaku seismik bangunan gedung yang diinvestigasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari gaya geser, deformasi lateral, kekakuan bangunan, hubungan gaya geser dasar dengan deformasi, drift ratio dan percepatan maksimum. Hasil analisis numerik menunjukkan bahwa setiap model memiliki perilaku yang berbeda-beda ketika diberikan beban sesimik dan input kualitas material yang sama. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketidakberaturan bangunan arah horizontal dan vertikal sangat mempengaruhi perilaku sesimik bada bangunan gedung beton bertulang bertingkat tinggi Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the seismic behavior of high-rise reinforced concrete buildings with irregular shapes in the vertical and horizontal directions. The irregular shape of high-rise buildings has an effect on their ability to withstand earthquake loads. Due to limited area and aesthetic concerns, high-rise buildings are frequently designed without regard for irregular shapes. This study employs a 12-story structure with two different types of horizontal irregularities, namely T and U-shaped. Each horizontal irregularity has five vertical irregularity variations, for a total of ten models in this study.  The frame structure was analyzed using the non-linear dynamics time history analysis software STERA 3D. Three earthquake data sets were used to generate seismic load variations for each model: the El-Centro, Kobe, and Parkfield earthquakes. The seismic behavior of the building investigated in this study included shear force, lateral deformation, stiffness of the structure, the relationship between base shear force and deformation, drift ratio, and maximum acceleration. The numerical analysis results indicate that each model behaves differently when subjected to the same seismic load and input material quality. Thus, the irregularity of the horizontal and vertical directions has a significant effect on the seismic behavior of high-rise reinforced concrete buildings.

    Due to its intermittent nature, significant adoption of solar PV into the grid can decrease grid reliability. One solution to increase it is to increase PV self-consumption with two methods: adding Energy Storage System (ESS) and conducting Demand Side Management (DSM). University building has a distinct characteristic in its complex dynamics. Therefore, there is a lack of research to control both methods of increasing self-consumption. This paper aimed to do an integrated literature review on increasing self-consumption and then propose a system architecture recommendation for university building management based on the review. The Smart Grid Architectural Model (SGAM) evaluated the case study object. The result showed that a data-driven controller has been chosen as the most suitable controller for the university building management system. The data needed to build a data-driven controller could be obtained through readily available sensors in the case study object, making it feasible for implementation.Dikarenakan sifatnya yang intermitten, adopsi energi dari PV surya ke dalam jaringan dapat mengurangi keandalan jaringan. Salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkannya adalah dengan meningkatkan swakonsumsi PV dengan dua metode: menambahkan Sistem Penyimpanan Energi (SPBE) dan melakukan manajemen sisi permintaan. Gedung universitas memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dalam dinamika kompleksnya. Kurangnya penelitian untuk mengendalikan kedua metode ini di gedung-gedung universitas disebabkan oleh karakteristik ini. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan literatur terintegrasi tentang upaya meningkatkan konsumsi sendiri kemudian mengusulkan rekomendasi arsitektur sistem untuk manajemen gedung universitas berdasarkan tinjauan tersebut. Kami kemudian mengevaluasi objek studi kasus menggunakan Smart Grid Architecture Model (SGAM).     Synthesis and Characterization of Bi2S3 Deposited on TiO2 Nanotubes (TiO2NTAs) as Photoanode in the Tandem DSSC-PEC System for Hydrogen Evolution

    TiO2NTAs is one of the most frequently used photoanodes. However, TiO2NTAs has a wide bandgap, so it is only active under UV light. Therefore, this study modified TiO2NTAs photoanode film to increase its efficiency. A simple method that successfully assists the Bi2S3 coating process on the surface of TiO2NTAs film is the Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) method. In this research, modified Bi2S3 with TiO2NTAs was prepared using the SILAR method with variations of the number of synthesis cycles at 1, 2, 4, and 6. Based on the synthesis results, the number of deposition cycles greatly influences the performance of TiO2NTAs films. The synthesized TiO2NTAs/Bi2S3 results were characterized using SEM, XRD, FTIR, UV-Vis DRS, and photoelectrochemistry. The X-ray diffractogram showed that the composite compound was obtained successfully. The SEM images showed that Bi2S3 was deposited on the surface of the TiO2NTAs without blocking the nanotube holes. The constructed DSSC-PEC system could produce hydrogen with an STH (solar-to-hydrogen) efficiency of 0.02318% in an H-type reactor using anode irradiation for 6 hrs

    Mineralogy and Provenance of Titanium-Vanadium Bearing Iron Sand Deposits from Purworejo-Kebumen, and Cilacap, Central Java

    This research aimed to find out the provenance, paleo weathering, tectonic environment, sediment maturity, and economic value of beach sand deposits in two study areas. The study areas were located on south coast of Purworejo-Kebumen and Cilacap, respectively. Ten representative samples were collected by hand auger and dried to reduce their water content, manually separating the magnetite concentrate using a 300-gauss magnet. The mineral composition and fraction were observed using a binocular microscope. Major oxide and trace elements concentrations were measured using the X-ray fluorescence and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry methods, respectively. The mineral assemblage consisted of pyroxene, amphibole, heavy minerals (hematite, ilmenite, and magnetite) and the light minerals found were quartz, plagioclase, and lithic fragments. The geochemical plot showed that all samples could be classified as greywacke, derived from mafic igneous provenance and were tectonically formed within an arc setting. The Chemical Index of Alteration showed an intensity of weathering as expected from tropical climates with weak weathering and the sediments are close to their source rock location. Fe2O3 had a positive correlation with TiO2 and V2O5; the iron sand from both areas has potential to be extracted, with iron, titanium, and vanadium as main commodities

    A Study of the Impact of Supply Chain Management Practices & Customer Orientation on Hotel Operation Performance

    The current study intends to examine the effects of supply chain management procedures and customer focuses on the operational effectiveness of hotels. The study surveys four hundred & five hotel managers and employees from opulent five-star hotels in Mumbai Metropolitan city. We have used Structural equation modeling to examine the given data. According to the study, efficient supply chain management procedures and a focus on customer needs have a good impact on hotel operation efficiency. Critical customer orientation practices include customer service, the best products/services in the industry, good market and customer information, and essential operations of hotel performance such as quality, speed, dependability, and flexibility. The study has identified critical supply chain management practices as strategic supplier partnership, information sharing level, and customer relationship. The results of this study shed light on the significance of supply chain management techniques and customer focus for the efficient functioning of hotels. Hotel managers should create efficient supply chain management procedures and embrace a customer-centric mindset to improve operational performance. The study did not consider the possible effects of additional contextual factors, such as hotel size, location, and market rivalry, which may impact the relationship between supply chain management methods, customer orientation, and hotel operational performance

    The present study aims to explain the formulation and implementation of the tourism village policy in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The existing tourism village policy and the fact that the village is centred on the national development agenda in Indonesia has shifted more attention towards all villages. By doing explanatory qualitative research through interviews, observation, and literature study at Pentek Sustainable Tourism Village in Mempawah Regency from August to October 2021,this research discovered that the tourism village manager can improve the management of natural, historical, and cultural tourism potential. Our finding showed that Pentek Tourism Villages' condition is classified as embryonic. However, according to social capital concept, the synergy between the government and the community can be an asset for accelerating the development of sustainable tourism villages in the future. Thus, this paper suggests a thorough review of Pentek Sustainable Tourism Village's available potential and resources, increased cross-sectoral collaboration that involves the community, the use of information technology to promote tourism villages, and conducting comparative studies from best practices of other national and international tourism villages.Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses formulasi dan implementasi kebijakan desa wisata di Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia. Kebijakan desa wisata dan pemusatan pada desa di agenda pembangunan nasional Indonesia telah menggeser banyak perhatian pada isu mengenai desa. Berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif eksplanatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur di Desa Wisata Berkelanjutan Pentek yang berada di Kabupaten Mempawah, tulisan ini menemukan bahwa manajemen sumber daya pariwisata berbasis alam, sejarah, dan budaya yang ada masih bisa ditingkatkan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa status desa wisata yang ada masih bersifat embrio. Meski demikian, sinergi yang sudah terjalin antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dapat dijadikan modal berharga untuk pembangunan Desa Wisata Berkelanjutan Pentek di kemudian hari. Saran dari kami adalah melakukan ulasan menyeluruh atas potensi wisata yang ada, meningkatkan kolaborasi lintas sektoral yang melibatkan masyarakat, menggunakan teknologi informasi sebagai sarana promosi desa wisata, dan melakukan studi banding dari kesuksesan desa wisata nasional dan internasional lainnya

    Budaya di Media Siber: Studi Etnografi Virtual Penggunaan Bahasa Gaul Oleh Generasi Z Pada Aplikasi TikTok

    Generation Z frequently uses slang as a communication medium for daily conversations due to the proliferation of social media. People typically blend various language variations for communication, whether in real-world interactions or in the virtual realm. One such interaction in the virtual world using slang occurs on the TikTok application, both in content creation and in the comment section. This interaction has transformed slang into a cyberculture, facilitating the exchange of identities in cyberspace. This research utilizes a virtual ethnography approach, incorporating four levels of cyber media analysis, to investigate the usage of slang by Generation Z on the TikTok application at various levels. Through observation and interviews with TikTok content creators and Generation Z users, researchers found several types of slang that have become cultural artifacts on the TikTok application, including slang derived from foreign languages, acronyms, abbreviations, and reversed words, as well as slang borrowed from foreign languages. The interactions occurring on the TikTok application also have real-world effects on the informants, such as experiences, relationships, and changes in daily communication habits due to the presence of slang.Berkembangnya media sosial membuat bahasa gaul menjadi amat populer di kalangan generasi Z karena kerap kali digunakan sebagai media komunikasi untuk percakapan sehari-hari. Biasanya, berbagai variasi bahasa disatupadukan untuk berkomunikasi, baik interaksi yang dilakukan di dunia nyata maupun dunia maya. Salah satu interaksi di dunia maya dengan bahasa gaul terjadi pada aplikasi TikTok, yakni pada pembuatan konten dan dalam kolom komentar. Interaksi ini membuat bahasa gaul menjadi budaya di media siber yang dipertukarkan antarentitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnografi virtual dengan empat level analisis media siber untuk mengetahui bagaimana budaya siber penggunaan bahasa gaul oleh generasi Z pada aplikasi TikTok dalam berbagai level. Melalui metode observasi dan juga wawancara dengan content creator dan generasi Z pengguna TikTok, peneliti memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa tipe bahasa gaul yang menjadi artefak budaya pada aplikasi TikTok, diantaranya bahasa gaul dari bahasa asing, bahasa gaul dari singkatan, pemendekkan, dan kata yang dibalik, hingga bahasa gaul serapan dari bahasa asing. Interaksi yang terjadi pada aplikasi TikTok juga membawa efek bagi informan ke dunia nyata, seperti pengalaman, relasi, hingga perubahan kebiasaan berkomunikasi sehari-hari akibat adanya bahasa gau
