    STRENGTHENING EFFORTS TO RELIGIOUS MODERATION WITH COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES IN THE PTKIN ENVIRONMENT OF NORTH SUMATERA

    This study aims to analyze efforts to strengthen religious moderation in the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) environment in North Sumatra through the communication strategies applied. Religious moderation is a very relevant concept in maintaining harmony and harmony between religious communities, especially in the context of campuses that have diverse student backgrounds. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis to identify the communication strategies applied, the obstacles faced, and the efforts made to overcome these obstacles. The results of the study indicate that PTKIN in North Sumatra have implemented various communication strategies such as curriculum integration based on religious moderation, inclusive learning methods, and the use of social media as a means of continuous education. However, there are still several obstacles, including a lack of in-depth understanding of religious moderation, social and cultural resistance, and limited resources. To overcome these obstacles, continuous training, development of a more relevant curriculum, and optimization of the use of digital technology are needed. This study contributes to the development of more effective communication strategies in strengthening religious moderation in higher education environments, especially in PTKIN North Sumatra.   &nbsp

    THE ROLE OF SILTAP IN IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF BUNIASIH VILLAGE OFFICIALS AND THE EDUCATION SECTOR IN KADIPATEN SUB-DISTRICT

    Village governance involves various important aspects, including planning, policy setting, implementation, organisation and financing. One of the main elements in the planning and implementation aspects is education, which plays a significant role in facilitating village officials in formulating and implementing policies. Adequate education allows village officials to conduct more thorough analyses and planning, so that they can design more efficient policies. Particularly in the management of village funds, education on government administration and village management is essential to improve the capacity of village officials to manage funds effectively. In 2018, the average village fund allocation reached IDR 800.4 million per village, which increased to IDR 933.9 million in 2019, and IDR 960.6 million in 2020. The autonomous management system of village funds gives villages full control over the use of these funds, which requires good managerial knowledge and skills. Education also plays a role in raising villagers' awareness of their rights and obligations, which encourages active participation in development and public services. With good education, village officials can improve the quality of public services that are more efficient and responsive. In addition, motivation and education have a close relationship in influencing the performance of village officials, because with higher education, they will be more competent and ready to carry out their duties. Adequate education will improve the managerial and technical skills of village officials, which are essential to achieve the performance standards expected by the community and village government, thus improving the quality of public services and development in the village

    TEACHERS' EFFORTS TO INCREASE THE LEARNING MOTIVATION OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS THROUGH TRADITIONAL CUBLAK-CUBLAK SUWENG GAMES

    Motivation to learn is an important thing that must be built from an early age. Teachers are one of the motivators at school who must be able to build children's interest in learning.  Play is one of the ways children gain knowledge, in other words, playing for children is learning. So the learning given to children must be through play, such as the traditional game cublak-cublak suweng conducted by teachers in Cilegon City. The traditional game is given to children aged 5-6 years in an effort to increase children's learning motivation which is still low. The research was conducted using the John Elliot model of classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The results showed that children's learning motivation increased from pre-cycle to cycle 2. Children showed a high attitude of curiosity, interest in playing again, feeling pleasure while playing, and knowledge as well as commands conveyed by the teacher through traditional games can be accepted and carried out by children very well. In other words, the traditional game cublak-cublak suweng is effective and successful in increasing the learning motivation of children aged 5-6 years

    This study discusses the coaching function carried out in the Class III women’s correctional instistution  in keerom in order to integrate inmates after returning to society. The implementation of prisoner coaching is a government program regulated in the Correctional Law by stipulating two types of coaching, namely personality development and independence development. The implementation of this coaching each  has a different goal in fostering inmates. This research focuses on the implementation of the development  of assisted residents towards the granting of parole.The type of research used was qualitative descriptive where interviews were conducted in depth with related parties  through a sociological juridical approach. The technique of data collection and data management used observation, interview, and documentation methods for the results of inmate coaching in the Class III women’s correctional  institution in Keerom. The results of this study will sho that the more effective the development of inmates will create positive values that grow the quality of the inmates themselves so that changes occur in order to prevent criminal behavior when they are successfully relased. The change in the last Correctional law is a function to further maximize the correctional system, namely humanizing humans by applying the development  of independence and personality and supported by facilities and infrastructure in the process of implementing inmate coaching so that the coaching runs with is expected by the government and the community

    THE BULLYING PHENOMENON AMONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW FROM A DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY PERSPECTIVE

    Bullying in elementary schools is a critical issue within the context of global education, as it directly impacts children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of Scopus-indexed scientific publications from 2014 to 2024 to identify developmental factors associated with bullying in children aged 6–12, the most frequently reported forms of bullying, the resulting psychological impacts, and intervention approaches deemed effective. The review process adhered to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) protocol, utilizing data retrieval via Scopus with keyword combinations related to bullying, elementary school, developmental psychology, and peer relations. Out of 31,494 articles identified in the initial phase, only 32 satisfied all inclusion criteria. The main findings indicate that emotional regulation, empathy, peer group dynamics, and the quality of the school climate are the developmental dimensions most influential in the emergence of bullying behavior. Bullying in elementary schools manifests in various forms, involving physical, verbal, and social aggression, as well as cyberbullying and emotional bullying aimed at harming or dominating other students. The effects of bullying are evident in decreased self-esteem, anxiety, depression, social withdrawal, and disrupted social identity formation. This study underscores the necessity of development-based interventions, such as Social Emotional Learning, strengthening the role of teachers, and implementing school-based prevention programs. Furthermore, the findings reveal that physical, verbal, social, and emotional bullying are the most prevalent forms among elementary school children, whereas cyberbullying is less prevalent due to the lower usage of digital devices among this age group. The authors provide theoretical foundations and practical implications for strengthening anti-bullying policies in elementary schools, including Islamic educational institutions

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi program pembinaan ibadah shalat fardhu berdasarkan Himpunan Putusan Tarjih (HPT) Muhammadiyah bagi santri baru di Pesantren Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara. Latar belakang kajian ini berangkat dari tantangan keberagaman latar belakang keagamaan santri yang datang dari berbagai tradisi Islam non-Muhammadiyah, sehingga menuntut pesantren untuk menanamkan keseragaman praktik ibadah sesuai standar tarjih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pembinaan dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui kegiatan teori, praktik, dan pembiasaan ibadah berjamaah. Para guru menggunakan strategi keteladanan, dialog, dan evaluasi rutin dalam membimbing santri. Adapun faktor pendukung pelaksanaan program mencakup komitmen kelembagaan, kurikulum berbasis tarjih, dan peran aktif pengajar, sementara hambatannya meliputi keberagaman latar belakang pemahaman santri, keterbatasan waktu, serta adaptasi terhadap kebiasaan baru. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa implementasi ibadah shalat sesuai tarjih di pesantren tidak hanya mencerminkan dimensi normatif, tetapi juga menjadi ruang dialektika sosial dalam pembentukan identitas keagamaan santri secara kontekstual dan moderat

    PENDAMPINGAN TAHFIDZ ALQURAN MELALUI METODE TALAQQI BAGI SANTRI TPQ AL-MUHAJIRIN MENDALO JAMBI

    Penguasaan hafalan Al-Qur’an pada santri merupakan bagian penting dalam membentuk kedisiplinan, akhlak, dan pemahaman keagamaan sejak Sekolah Dasar. Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran (TPQ) Al-Muhajirin Mendalo, Jambi, menghadapi kendala dalaM kemampuan menghafal AL-Quran santri, khususnya berkaitan dengan kelancaran, ketepatan, dan konsistensi hafalan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan hafalan dan kualitas tahfidz Al-Qur’an melalui penerapan metode talaqqi, yaitu pembelajaran langsung dan tatap muka antara guru dan santri secara intensif. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan rutin, latihan pengulangan hafalan terstruktur, dan evaluasi berkala sebagai instrumen pemantauan capaian hafalan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama delapan minggu dengan melibatkan 20 santri yang telah memiliki hafalan dasar. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada jumlah ayat yang dihafal, kualitas makhraj dan tajwid, serta motivasi belajar santri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode talaqqi dengan pendampingan intensif dan berkelanjutan efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hafalan Al-Qur’an di lingkungan TPQ, serta memiliki potensi untuk direplikasi pada lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur’an lainnya

    This study aims to deeply examine the implementation of Sharia economic principles in managing Enje Mart, located at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Sharia economic principles, including values of justice, transparency, sustainability, and prohibition of riba, serve as the primary foundation for conducting Enje Mart's operational activities. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method to provide a comprehensive depiction of how Sharia values are applied. Data collection techniques involve in-depth interviews with managers, direct field observations, and analysis of supporting documents. The results reveal that Enje Mart has successfully implemented sharia principles in various aspects, such as financial management based on profit-sharing systems, procurement of goods from local business partners, and service approaches emphasizing Islamic ethics. Additionally, a technology-driven stock management system is utilized to ensure efficiency and honesty. However, the study also identifies challenges, including limited human resource capacity in understanding the details of sharia principles and constraints in business capital. To address these challenges, regular training and mentoring were conducted by Sharia economic institutions affiliated with the boarding school. The study concludes that Enje Mart's management reflects an optimal effort in applying sharia economic principles despite facing some obstacles. Its impact is evident not only in the increased income of the boarding school but also in empowering the surrounding community's economy.     Member satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the performance of Islamic cooperatives. The level of satisfaction can be influenced by several factors, such as service quality, product quality, and the level of member trust in the cooperative. Kopsyah-MUI East Java Bungah Branch, as one of the Islamic cooperatives, strives to increase the loyalty and satisfaction of its members through improving services and providing products that suit their needs. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of service levels, product quality, and trust on member satisfaction in saving at Kopsyah-MUI East Java Bungah Branch. This study uses a quantitative approach with a field research method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The population of this study was 3,015 members, and the sampling technique used was probability sampling with the Bungin formula, so that 97 respondents were obtained as research samples. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression and classical assumption tests. The results of the partial test showed that service quality did not have a significant effect on member satisfaction (sig. 0.666). On the other hand, product quality (sig. 0.000) and trust (sig. 0.050) had a positive and significant effect. Simultaneous test shows that all three variables together have a significant effect on member satisfaction (sig. 0.000). Product quality is the most dominant factor in influencing member satisfaction, followed by trust. Service still needs to be improved, even though it is not statistically significant, because it still plays a role in building positive perceptions.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pelayanan, kualitas produk, dan kepercayaan terhadap kepuasan anggota dalam menabung di Kopsyah-MUI Jatim Cabang Bungah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket atau kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert yang telah diuji kesahihan dan kebisingannya. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 3015 anggota, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Probability Sampling dengan perhitungan rumus Bungin sehingga jumlah sampelnya dibulatkan menjadi 97 anggota. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kualitas pelayanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan anggota. Kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan anggota. Kepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan anggota. Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pelayanan, kualitas produk, dan kepercayaan secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan anggota

    Konsep Pedagogi Inklusif dalam Pendidikan Islam: The Concept of Inclusive Pedagogy in Islamic Education

    The phenomenon of social discrimination in educational activities is a challenge in the education system, and Islamic education is no exception. This study aims to explore the strategy of implementing inclusive pedagogy values in Islamic education activities.  This qualitative research in the form of a literature review uses a content analysis approach. The data sources in this study were obtained from academic books, scientific journals, and articles that discuss the concept of inclusive pedagogy, and Islamic education. Then the data collection process was carried out through documentation. This research concludes that inclusive pedagogy in the Islamic education paradigm emphasises the importance of respecting plurality, and building a supportive educational environment for all learners, including those with special needs. Therefore, disseminating the values of inclusive pedagogy is urgent in the development of inclusive Islamic education, because it teaches that every individual has unique potential that needs to be respected. Educators and policy makers can realise an education system that respects plurality and provides equal access for all students. However, the application of inclusive pedagogy in Islamic education can also face various challenges related to social, cultural and structural aspect
