    Peranan Pondok Pesantren dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional

    This study aims to explore the tangible contributions of pesantren to national education, especially in addressing contemporary challenges. The research method used is a literature review, gathering data from various relevant sources. The results show that pesantren provides holistic education, filling gaps that formal education cannot reach and offering educational access to communities in remote areas. Additionally, pesantren holds several roles: 1) transmission of Islamic knowledge, 2) character and moral development, 3) reproduction of scholars, 4) preservation of Islamic traditions, 5) contribution to national education, 6) entrepreneurship and skills development, and 7) community development. Thus, pesantren is not merely a supplement to the national education system but also a strategic partner in creating a generation that excels intellectually and spiritually.Pondok pesantren memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional di Indonesia. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tertua, pesantren tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat pembelajaran agama, tetapi juga berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter dan moral masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi nyata pesantren dalam pendidikan nasional, terutama dalam menjawab tantangan kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kepustakaan, yang mengumpulkan data dari berbagai literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren menghadirkan pendidikan yang holistik, mengisi kekosongan yang tidak dapat dijangkau oleh pendidikan formal, serta memberikan akses pendidikan kepada masyarakat di daerah terpencil. Selain itu, pesantren juga mempunyai beberapa peran sebagai  1). transmisi ilmu islam. 2). Pembentukan karater dan moral. 3). Lembaga reproduksi ulama. 4). Pemelihara taradisi islam. 5). Kontribusi dalam Pendidikan Nasional 6). Pengembangan Kewirausahaan dan Keterampilan. 7). Pengembangan Masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pesantren tidak hanya sebagai pelengkap dalam sistem pendidikan nasional, tetapi juga sebagai mitra strategis dalam menciptakan generasi yang unggul secara intelektual dan spiritual

    Education plays an important role in shaping individuals and society, where its success depends not only on the availability of information but also on how that information is delivered. Instructional techniques and tactics play a significant role in this. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method to examine instructional techniques and tactics in education, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the definitions, theories, and applications of these methods in an empirical context. The results show that instructional techniques, such as traditional lectures and the use of modern technology, along with instructional tactics, such as open-ended questions and group discussions, can enhance learning effectiveness by meeting the individual needs of students. A deep understanding of instructional techniques and tactics enables teachers to develop creativity and flexibility in their teaching methods, while also emphasizing the importance of ongoing research to enrich best practices and innovations in education

    Enhancing EFL Vocabulary Acquisition Through Gamification: Addressing Challenges and Boosting Retention

    Vocabulary acquisition is a fundamental aspect of mastering a foreign language, particularly for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. However, many students face significant challenges in building their vocabulary, which hinders their ability to communicate effectively. Traditional teaching methods, such as L1 translation, memorization, and contextual guessing, are often inadequate, especially for beginners, as they fail to sustain long-term retention and engagement. This paper explores the limitations of these approaches and proposes the integration of games as an effective solution for vocabulary teaching. Games provide an engaging, interactive, and student-centered learning environment that fosters intrinsic motivation, encourages communication in real-life contexts, and reduces learner anxiety. The study highlights the benefits of using games to address the challenges in vocabulary acquisition, emphasizing their potential to create memorable learning experiences, enhance student participation, and promote sustained language development. By analyzing existing literature and the researchers’ teaching experience, this paper underscores the importance of innovative strategies to motivate EFL learners and improve their vocabulary acquisition

    Penguatan Nilai Kejujuran Melalui Metode Role Playing dalam Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak: Strengthening Honesty Values through Role Playing Method in Aqidah Akhlak Learning

    Character education requires learning strategies that can foster essential values in students, one of which is honesty. This study aims to strengthen students’ honesty through the application of the role playing method in Aqidah Akhlak learning at a madrasah. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 32 eighth-grade students from a State Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Mojokerto during the 2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach supported by percentage calculations. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ honesty from the first to the second cycle. This improvement was evident in students’ activeness, courage to express opinions, and consistency in demonstrating honest behavior during the learning process. These results indicate that the role playing method can serve as an effective alternative learning strategy to strengthen character education, particularly the value of honesty, in Aqidah Akhlak instruction at madrasah

    Peran Akreditasi dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Layanan di Lembaga Pendidikan

    Proses penilaian kelayakan suatu lembaga pendidikan dikenal sebagai akreditasi, yang memainkan peran sentral dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Tindakan akreditasi tidak hanya sebagai penilaian formal, melainkan juga sebagai instrumen vital dalam meningkatkan pelayanan dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan secara menyeluruh. Keberhasilan akreditasi dapat mendukung kepercayaan masyarakat, akuntabilitas publik, kualitas pendidikan, dan daya saing lulusan. Penelitian ini fokus pada identifikasi dan analisis peran akreditasi dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan di lembaga pendidikan melalui metode library research, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis sumber pustaka. Metode ini melibatkan pencarian literatur dari berbagai sumber seperti buku dan artikel jurnal yang berhubungan dengan topik penelitian. Akreditasi bukan hanya sekadar penilaian formal, tetapi juga merupakan alat penting untuk meningkatkan pelayanan dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan secara holistik. Sehingga akreditasi menjadi pilar penting dalam mencapai peningkatan mutu layanan di lembaga pendidikan

    Model Ekonomi Leontief Pada Transaksi Domestik Terhadap Produktivitas Ekonomi Provinsi Jambi

    Jambi Province, as a part of Indonesia, has an important role in contributing to the national economy. To understand economic dynamics in Jambi province, it is important to analyze domestic transactions on economic productivity. The aim of this research is to find out whether Jambi province's domestic transactions on economic productivity are productive or not, so that our research can be useful for policy makers. The method we use in analyzing the relationship between various economic sectors in Jambi province is to use the Leontief economic model, the results show the analysis by applying the results of the classification of the Jambi province domestic price transaction matrix which is modeled with the Leontief economic model using the reduction of the identity matrix with the results of the domestic price transaction matrix then the inverse results produce a negative matrix value, so it can be concluded that domestic transactions on the productivity of Jambi province are not productive. Therefore, each sector in each open unproductive sector refers to a part of a province's economy that does not make a significant contribution to economic growth or the welfare of society as a whole. Unproductive domestic transactions can harm the Jambi province's regional finances, so it is important to avoid them

    Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Melalui Aplikasi Kids All In One English Terhadap Perkembangan Bahasa Inggris Awal Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi edukatif Kids All in One English sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap perkembangan bahasa Inggris awal anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 anak yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen (menggunakan aplikasi Kids All in One English) dan kelompok kontrol (menggunakan metode konvensional). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes kosakata sederhana, observasi kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa Inggris awal anak pada kelompok eksperimen. Aplikasi Kids All in One English terbukti mampu menjadi media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik belajar anak usia dini

    This research This study examines the suspension of the oath of advocates Firdaus Oiwobo, S.H., and Razman Arif Nasution by the Ambon and Banten High Courts, in the context of the legal dialectic between the independence of the advocate profession, judicial supremacy, and contempt of court. The main issue raised is the potential conflict between the court's authority in enforcing trial discipline with the principle of due process of law and the doctrine of officium nobile which underlies the independence of advocates. This study aims to analyze the legitimacy and legal implications of the suspension of the advocate's oath and identify the potential for abuse of judicial authority. The method used is normative legal with a statutory, case, and conceptual approach, which is analyzed hermeneutically-critically. The results of the study indicate that the suspension of the advocate's oath by the high court is more than just an administrative action, but is a judicial intervention that weakens the independence of the legal profession. This action is contrary to the principles of fair trial and due process of law. This study recommends a revision of the contempt of court regulation to protect the freedom of advocates and create a balance between judicial authority and the independence of the legal profession

    Debating Life and Death: Student Reflections on Contradictions in Anton Chekhov’s The Bet

    This study explores students’ responses to Anton Chekhov’s The Bet through the lens of Richard Beach’s transactional theory, with a focus on their engagement with the story’s central moral conflict. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, the study examines how students navigate the contradiction between life imprisonment and the death penalty by analyzing data from students’ intellectual diaries, classroom discussions, and interviews. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in students’ emotional, ethical, and cognitive responses. Findings reveal that students engage with the text in diverse ways, including emotional reactions, ethical reflections, and collaborative meaning-making. The study underscores the influence of personal experiences, values, and peer interactions on literary interpretation, highlighting the pedagogical significance of fostering critical engagement with morally complex narratives in higher education. This study also highlights the importance of selecting literature that challenges students with complex moral issues, as their emotional and ethical engagement with texts like The Bet fosters their critical thinking, self-reflection, and personal growth

    The Social Economy Model Based on Pesantren Communities in the Post-Truth Era

    The rise of the post-truth era—marked by the prioritization of emotions over facts and the widespread manipulation of information—has challenged the sustainability and credibility of conventional socio-economic models. In contrast, pesantren communities in Indonesia have preserved a unique social economy rooted in Islamic values, communal trust, and productive religiosity. This study investigates the structural and functional characteristics of the social economy practiced by pesantren communities and how these values serve as a resilient framework amid post-truth dynamics. Using a qualitative case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory observations in five pesantren-based business units across East Java. The analysis reveals that pesantren communities build their economic activities on the principles of collective welfare (maslahah), transparency (amanah), and intergenerational trust. These elements shape a distinctive ecosystem that integrates religious authority, social capital, and economic inclusiveness. The findings confirm that the pesantren-based social economy not only offers an alternative to mainstream capitalist models but also provides a robust foundation for resisting the socio-economic disintegration caused by post-truth narratives. This model strengthens local resilience, promotes ethical entrepreneurship, and fosters economic justice in marginalized societies
