The adjective and its described noun (na’t and man’ut) are fundamental elements of Arabic grammar. In the context of poetry, their function is not limited to clarifying meaning but extends to beautifying language, adding balance, and highlighting the aesthetic dimensions of the text. In the works of Ahmad Shawqi especially poem Dzikra al-Maulid, the use of na’t and man’ut appears creatively to express profound emotions and convey complex meanings. This study aims to analyze the structure of na’t and man’ut in the poem Dzikra al-Maulid while exploring how this linguistic structure is employed to enhance the religious and literary meanings that distinguish the poem. Additionally, the study seeks a deeper understanding of the grammatical tools Ahmad Shawqi used to achieve harmony between form and content. The study employed qualitative methodology, with descriptive analysis technique with the poem Dzikra al-Maulid, as the primary source. The analysis results indicate that adjectives are widely used to clarify nouns and convey deeper poetic meaning. Examples from the analysis reveal the role of adjectives in providing additional detail that enhances poetic imagery and clarifies meaning. For instance, the word "ghadaah" functions as an adjective that specifies the timing of an action, adding vibrancy to the poetic scene. The word "al-jamaal" highlights the association of description with beauty, creating emotional tension. Similarly, "yawman" serves as a temporal adjective, and "bayna al-dhuloo’" as a locational adjective, both strengthening the precise depiction of state and place. Adjectives such as "min hadeed" emphasize strength and steadfastness rather than emotional vulnerability. This demonstrates that adjectives enrich poetic imagery and enhance emotional and intellectual expression, making the meaning of the poem deeper and more impactfu

This study examines the persistent practice of rum trading in Kuala Simpang, despite its prohibition under MUI Fatwa No. 4 of 2003 on halal standards and Qanun Aceh No. 6 of 2014 on Jinayah Law. Rum is commonly utilized in food and beverage preparation, imparting a sweet flavor with minimal alcoholic content. The research aims to analyze the prevailing rum trade practices and their implications in light of these religious and legal frameworks. Data were collected through interviews with rum sellers and consumers. Findings indicate that rum remains widely traded in Kuala Simpang, where it is frequently incorporated into cakes and beverages. According to MUI Fatwa No. 4 of 2003, such practices are deemed haram (forbidden), as even trace amounts of alcohol render consumption impermissible. Additionally, Aceh’s Qanun No. 6 of 2014 classifies rum as khamar (intoxicants), prohibiting its trade under Jinayah Law. Thus, the ongoing rum trade in Kuala Simpang violates both Islamic jurisprudence and regional legal statutes in AcehRum sering digunakan dalam pembuatan makanan dan minuman untuk memberikan sentuhan manis dan sedikit rasa alkoholik.

Empowering Communities: The Role of Zakat in Alleviating Poverty and Promoting Economic Growth in Indonesia

Poverty remains a major development challenge in Indonesia despite various government programs. In this context, zakat as an Islamic economic instrument holds significant potential to address economic inequality and improve community welfare. However, the optimal utilization of zakat to support economic empowerment and development has yet to be fully realized. This study aims to analyze the role of zakat in alleviating poverty and promoting economic growth in Indonesia, as well as to identify obstacles and strategies for optimizing its management. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and secondary data analysis from zakat institutions’ reports, academic publications, and national statistics. Additionally, case studies were conducted on economic empowerment programs based on zakat implemented by several prominent zakat institutions in Indonesia. The findings indicate that zakat plays a significant role in increasing the income of zakat recipients (mustahik), expanding access to micro business capital, and encouraging economic self reliance. Productive zakat programs are proven to be more effective in the long term compared to consumptive zakat distribution. Nevertheless, challenges such as low zakat literacy, unequal distribution, and the lack of integration between zakat institutions and government programs remain key barriers. The study recommends enhancing collaboration among institutions, utilizing digital technology for zakat collection and distribution, and strengthening regulations and public education as strategies to maximize zakat\u27s potential in national economic development. Keywords: zakat, economic empowerment, poverty alleviation, Indonesi

Uang Titik as a Land Utilization Contract in Mining: An Analysis of Justice and Legal Certainty from the Perspective of Islamic Economic Law

The practice of ‘uang titik’ in artisanal gold mining activities in Hutabargot Sub-district is a form of unwritten contract between landowners and miners in land utilisation. The money point is given as an initial permit accompanied by a profit-sharing scheme of 20% for the landowner, while all risks are borne by the miner. This research aims to analyse the justice and legal certainty aspects of the practice of uang titik based on the perspective of sharia economic law. This research uses a qualitative approach with a normative-empirical method, through in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature studies. The results show that in principle, the practice of uang titik is acceptable in Islamic law through the \u27urf approach, but there are inequalities in the distribution of risks and profits, as well as the absence of a written contract which creates legal uncertainty and potential injustice. Therefore, it is necessary to reformulate the contract with a fairer and more transparent approach to be in line with the principles of maqashid sharia, namely justice, protection of the rights of related parties, and environmental sustainability. This study recommends strengthening agreement documents and sharia law education for the community as applicable and sustainable solution
