KEEFEKTIFAN LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL TEKNIK PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN BERAGAMA
Kesadaran beragama terjadi di SMA Negeri 1 Bantul, Hasil wawancara terhadap Guru BK dan Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) mengatakan siswa masih menyepelakan agama dan terpengaruh oleh lingkungan pertemananya serta terdapat siswa yang melanggar peraturan agama, diantaranya beberapa siswa yang masih tidak sholat, perilaku yang tidak sopan, hamil diluar pernikahan dan salah satu faktor kemunduran siswa dalam beragama adalah sosial media, siswa masih merasa gengsi dalam melakukan tindakan keagamaan dan memilih untuk melakukan hal-hal yang viral di media sosial. Maka, diperlukan tindakan untuk meningkatkannnya kesadaran beragama siswa dengan menggunakan Layanan Bimbingan Klasikal teknik PBL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pre-Experimental Design menggunakan model One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel yang digunakan purposive sampling, yaitu 34 siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Bantul, dengan jumlah 34 siswa. Uji validitas menggunakan bantuan SPSS dan Microsoft Excel. Uji reliabilitass menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Data terkumpul dalam bentuk kuantitatif kemudian dianalisis statistic. Analisis data statistic dengan uji normalitas dengan uji t sampel berpasangan. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa Bimbingan Klasikal dengan teknik PBL efektif digunakan untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Beragama siswa pada kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Bantul ditunjukan oleh nilai t hitung = 12,017 > 2,034 (t tabel) dengan sig (p) = 0,000 < ( ) = 0,05. Skor rata-rata kesadaran beragama siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Bantul mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti Bimbingan Klasikal teknik PBL sebesar 5,97 poin, yaitu skor rata-rata pretest kesadaran beragama sebesar 56,59 dan setelah dilakukan Bimbingan Klasikal dengan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) naik menjadi 62,56. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Layanan Bimbingan Klasikal teknik Problem Based Learning (PBL) meningkatkan kesadaran beragama siswa pada kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Bantul
HUBUNGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DENGAN PERILAKU BULLYING SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 3 PATI
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyak siswa yang melakukan tindak perilaku bullying. Tindakan yang mereka lakukan sebagai pelaku bullying mereka lakukan secara sadar. Siswa yang menjadi korban tindak perilaku bullying ini belum sadar dengan dampak yang diberikan terhadap kepercayaan diri mereka. Dampak yang timbul adalah siswa menjadi sukar bergaul dengan temannyaa dan lebih suka menyendiri, sulit beradaptasi dengan keadaan, sulit berkomunikasi dengan lawan bicara, dan lebih suka membuang pandangan dengan melakukan gerakan-gerakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari adanya pengaruh perilaku bullying terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Pati yang berjumlah 420 siswa. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 107 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert, yakni membuat skala kepercayaan diri dan skala perilaku bullying. Berdasarkan uji korelasi Person Product Moment, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.000 yang dapat diartikan bahwa antara Kepercayaan Diri (X) dengan Perilaku Bullying (Y) terdapat hubungan karena nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0.05, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variable Kepercayaan Diri dengan Perilaku Bullying siswa XI SMA Negeri 3 Pati
Investigating Academic Burnout among Final-Year English Education Students: A Case Study Research at IAIN Parepare
This study aims to analyze the academic burnout among final-year students of the English education department in the 2023-2024 academic year at IAIN Parepare. Data collection applied survey methods using Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) with Likert Scale to 93 final year students who are working on their thesis. Statistical analysis methods used include Kolmogorov-Smirnov for normality testing and Spearman Correlation to measure the relationship between variables. The result shows that the final year students experienced medium level of academic burnout. 57% of them felt emotional exhaustion, 51% realized they were experiencing depersonalization, 52% were exposed to personal achievements. Overall, the data indicates the final year English education students experienced moderate burnout across all dimensions, which significantly impacted their emotional well-being, engagement in academic roles, and personal accomplishment perception. These results suggest that institution should consider implementing more intensive emotional and academic mentoring programs for final year students. This could include counseling, stress management sessions, and psychological support that can help reduce emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. In addition, the supervisors are expected to provide adaptive mentoring, understand individual needs, and help students develop realistic strategies to complete their thesis. These efforts are expected to improve academic well-being, so that students can complete their studies optimally and confidently
Analisis Jalur Pengaruh Karakteristik Pekerjaan dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru di SD Negeri 190 Barru
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri 190 Barru. Pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang berkualitas sangat bergantung pada seberapa baik kualitas kinerja guru dalam menjalankan tugas akademiknya di sekolah/madrasah. Kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor antara lain supervisi kepala madrasah, kompetensi profesional, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi guru. Keempat faktor tersebut seharusnya berjalan secara terintegrasi dan berkesinambungan agar berdampak baik terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah guru SD Negeri 190 Barru yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan metode sensus, sehingga jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 40 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri 190 Barru. Karakteristik pekerjaan yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru adalah tanggung jawab, kesempatan untuk berkembang, dan lingkungan kerja. Kepuasan kerja yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru adalah kepuasan dengan pekerjaan, kepuasan dengan gaji, dan kepuasan dengan hubungan interpersonal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja guru
Navigating the Transformative Impact of Artificial Intelligence on English Language Teaching: Exploring Challenges and Opportunities
This study aims to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on English language teaching in higher education. The scope of the study was limited to the opportunities and challenges of English language teaching. This study was conducted using a mixed method of conducting surveys and in-depth interviews. A questionnaire link using Spreadsheet’s Google Form was sent to the English lecturer through the WhatsApp group and personal contact No. The study sample consisted of 16 English lecturers. Analyzing the questionnaire and interview transcript indicates that the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has created opportunities and challenges for English language teaching and learning. AI has changed the landscape of English language teaching in higher education. English lecturers utilized different types of AI for various purposes, for example, asking and solving questions and checking for grammatical errors, checking plagiarism, paraphrasing, and reviewing literature. The study also revealed that AI has a variety of advantages for language teaching and learning, including the detection of plagiarism and grammatical errors. In addition, AI has created opportunities and challenges for the future of English language teaching. AI required digital literacy to utilize. The English teaching profession might be taken over by AI in the future, so English lecturers must continuously improve their digital literacy
Implementing Inquiry Learning Strategy to Improve Students’ Thinking Ability of SMPN 6 Gunungsitoli in 2023/2024
This research was motivated by initial observations which showed low student learning outcomes, which can be seen based on the average score on exam results, namely 60. The average score is still below the minimum completeness criteria (MCC) set by the school, namely 67, in English subjects. This shows that student learning outcomes in English learning are still low. This research aims to implement inquiry learning strategies in improving students' thinking skills and improving listening skills in English at SMP Negeri 6 Gunungsitoli. This research focuses on finding out the teaching methods used by teachers to improve students' thinking skills, implementation, assessment in learning with research results obtained through student observations in learning activities, questions to improve one of the students' competencies in listening skills, and the researcher's field notes. while carrying out research. The informants for this research were class 8, totaling 7 people. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The results obtained from this research include: 1). Implementation of the learning process using the inquiry method. 2). Observation results showing improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle at the second meeting. 3). Implementation of listening tests for students makes students like learning English and through MCC. The average value presentation obtained is 90%. This shows an increase from cycles I and II student learning motivation through implementing the inquiry learning model in the When I was a child material with an average score of 90% in the very high category. The application of the inquiry learning model can increase students' activeness in learning, improve students' thinking abilities, and increase the completeness of learning outcomes
HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONSEP DIRI DENGAN PERENCANAAN KARIR PESERTA DIDIK SMK NEGERI 5 SEMARANG
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara konsep diri dan perencanaan karir di kalangan peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Semarang. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan positif antara konsep diri dan perencanaan karir pada peserta didik tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasi kuantitatif, dengan melibatkan 238 peserta didik sebagai sampel utama dan 35 peserta didik sebagai sampel uji coba. Teknik Sampel Jenuh diterapkan dalam pengumpulan data melalui dua skala pengukuran: Skala konsep diri dan Skala perencanaan karir. Delapan kelas dipilih sebagai kelompok uji coba dan kelompok penelitian.Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi product moment, sehingga nilai r tabel untuk jumlah sampel 238 peserta didik dengan taraf signifikan 5% makan diperoleh nilai r tabel 0,334. Pada uji korelasi pearson product moment, diperoleh pearson correlation sebesar 0,468 dengan signifikansi 0,001, Ha diterima karena signifikansi 0,001 <0,05 maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan dan positif antar konsep diri dengan perencanaan karir peserta didik kelas XI SMK N 5 Semarang dengan tingkat korelasi jika dilihat dari nilai pearson correlation 0,468> 0,334 yang berarti tingkat korelasi sedang
Deixis Analysis on Oxford University E-mail Messages
Deixis is essential to creating effective communication. This research aimed (i) to determine the number of each type of deixis contained within E-mails from Oxford University Publications Office and (ii) the meanings contained there in. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The basic theory used by researchers is the theory of Yule. Yule described deixis as divided into 3, namely person, spatial, and temporal.The data used in this study came from one of the sources who received an E-mail from Oxford University and interview data. The result of the research was there are 2 types of deixis in E-mail, namely person deixis and spatial deixis. In person deixis was found 29 data with 3 forms of pronouns, namely You, Your, We, Our, Us, Their, and It. In spatial deixis was found 3 data with 2 forms, namely below and this. From the interview data, the researchers found that the language used in international campuses generally easy to comprehend, particularly noting the helpfulness of deixis in grasping message meanings, albeit sometimes requiring repeated reading for full understanding, with messages from Oxford University being notably straightforward
Assessment Practice in EFL Classroom: Purpose, Methods and Scoring
This research aims to describe teacher purposes, investigate teacher methods, and explain teacher scoring practices in EFL classrooms. The study employs a descriptive quantitative design, collecting data through checklist and observational analyses using Google Forms. The subjects comprise EFL teachers from senior high schools and vocational schools in the Pinrang region. Results reveal that teachers utilize multifaceted assessment practices for interconnected purposes: monitoring student progress, providing feedback, motivating learning, guiding instruction, facilitating differentiation, ensuring accountability, and reporting outcomes transparently. This underscores assessment's vital role in enhancing learning environments and informing teaching decisions. EFL teachers evaluate language proficiency across skills through varied assessments, including instructor-made tests, student tasks, and standardized exams. This approach enables comprehensive insights into students' abilities while addressing individual needs. Scoring practices demonstrate a commitment to fairness, consistency, and comprehensiveness, utilizing rubrics, clear instructions, and balanced evaluation of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The findings highlight educators' strategic use of assessment purposes and methods to continually improve teaching and learning processes, supporting students' language development. This research contributes to understanding EFL assessment practices in Indonesian secondary education, offering insights for teacher training and educational policy development
The Influence of Differentiated Instruction on Senior High School’s English Learning Outcomes
The goal of this research is to use differentiated instruction in English in order to improve student learning outcomes. This class X research was carried out at UPT SMA Negeri 3 Takalar. This study employs structured interviewing methods, recording, and observation in a qualitative descriptive research design. According to the research, 20 students, or 13 students in total, had a completeness score in cycle I mathematics learning of 65%, and 7 students, or 35% of the students, did not achieve the passing requirement. Then, in cycle II, the comprehensiveness of the instruction yields an 81.50% acquisition in English for a total of 17 pupils, as well as children who have met the score
