Meningkatkan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4–5 Tahun Melalui Kegiatan Menganyam: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Dua Siklus di TK Daya Wanita
This study aims to enhance fine motor skills in early childhood through weaving activities conducted with Group A at TK Daya Wanita, Darmaraja District, Sumedang Regency, during the 2025/2026 academic year. The main issue addressed in this study is the children’s lack of ability to coordinate eye-hand movements, control finger movements, and express creativity. To achieve this goal, the study adopts a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the spiral model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study involved 16 children aged 4 to 5 years as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and field notes, with the main instrument being an observation sheet designed to assess the children's fine motor development. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics to calculate the percentage of children categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB). The results showed a significant improvement in the children’s fine motor skills: at the pre-action stage, only 10.94% of the children were categorized as BSH and BSB; in the first cycle, this increased to 56.25%; and in the second cycle, it reached 85.94%. These findings suggest that weaving activities, as a structured intervention, can effectively stimulate children’s fine motor skills in an enjoyable manner, in line with their developmental stage
Pengaruh Media Wordwall Interaktif Berbasis Teknologi Digital terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Angka Pada Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun
The ability to recognize numbers in early childhood, especially at the age of 5-6 years, is an important foundation in the development of numeracy, which plays a significant role in the quality of education in the future. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using Wordwall AI-based learning media on the ability to recognize numbers in early childhood. Educators must develop innovative and more interesting learning media, one of which is by using game-based media, namely Wordwall learning media. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consisted of 30 children at Adilika Kindergarten in Makassar. Data collection methods included observation, testing, and documentation activities. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and parametric statistical analysis using the SPSS application. The results of the research through hypothesis testing of pre-test and post-test data on children's number recognition abilities showed a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results, thus indicating a significant effect of the use of digital technology-based Wordwall media on the number recognition abilities of early childhood. Thus, Wordwall media has been proven to increase children's attention, motivation, and involvement in learning, making it more effective than conventional learning media such as flashcards. Therefore, the implementation of digital technology-based Wordwall learning media can be an alternative interactive media for teaching number recognition to early childhoo
Strategi Guru Dalam Mengembangkan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia Dini Di PAUD Al-Hidayah
This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in developing the social–emotional abilities of early childhood students at PAUD Al-Hidayah, Serang City. Social–emotional development is a crucial dimension of early childhood growth because it influences character formation, emotional regulation, and the ability to interact positively within social environments. Although previous studies have discussed various methods for stimulating social–emotional skills, research that examines in depth how teachers implement these strategies in daily classroom practices along with the supporting and inhibiting factors remains limited. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, involving one class B teacher as the main informant and nine children as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal that the teacher applied three main strategies: (1) creating a safe and comfortable learning environment to foster children’s self-confidence; (2) implementing positive habituation through routine activities that instill discipline, responsibility, and empathy; and (3) applying cooperative learning to develop teamwork skills and respect for others. These strategies were proven effective, despite challenges such as limited parental involvement and differences in children’s individual characteristics. The study highlights the crucial role of teachers as facilitators, mentors, and role models in fostering children’s social–emotional intelligence through planned, contextual, and developmentally appropriate learning activitie
Teachers’ Roles in Managing Buying–Selling Role Play to Foster Entrepreneurial Attitudes in Early Childhood Education
This study aims to describe the role of teachers in managing buying–selling role-play activities as a medium for developing entrepreneurial attitudes in children aged 4–6 years at Sejahtera 4 Kindergarten. The study focused on teacher planning, management of activity implementation, and the forms of entrepreneurial attitudes that emerged during children’s participation in the role play. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving one classroom teacher as the main subject, with data collected through in-depth interviews and light observation of teachers’ explanations and activity arrangements. The findings indicate that teachers play a strategic role in designing learning activities by setting objectives, preparing play scenarios, and providing supporting media such as tables, merchandise, and toy money. Through scaffolding and guided assistance, teachers facilitated children’s initiative, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and simple problem-solving skills during the buying–selling simulation. Previous studies have largely emphasized the social-emotional benefits of role play, while limited attention has been given to teachers’ managerial roles in fostering entrepreneurial attitudes in early childhood. This study contributes theoretically by extending the discussion of entrepreneurship education within a play-based learning framework and practically by offering insights for teachers to design structured role-play activities that more intentionally support entrepreneurial character development in early childhood setting
Stimulasi Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Melalui Kegiatan Meronce Pompom Di TK Perwari 1 Kota Tasikmalaya
Simple movements such as pompom stringing have significant benefits in supporting the growth and development of early childhood, particularly in terms of fine motor skills. This activity not only provides an enjoyable experience for children, but also contributes to improved eye-hand coordination and the ability to control and direct fine movements accurately. This study aims to examine the effect of pompom stringing activities on improving fine motor skills in 4-5-year-old children at TK Perwari 1 in Tasikmalaya City. The study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects consisted of 12 children selected based on age criteria and the need to improve fine motor skills. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and documentation during the activity process. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in five main aspects of fine motor skills, namely eye-hand coordination, finger and hand muscle strength, precision and movement control, speed, and endurance. The children also demonstrated active participation and high enthusiasm during the pompom crafting activity. These findings indicate that the pompom crafting activity is effective in enhancing the fine motor skill development of young children and can be implemented as part of a fun and meaningful learning strategy in early childhood education setting
Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dengan Kompetensi Guru Dalam Mengajar di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kecamatan Lembah Melintang
This study was motivated by the efforts of school principals to improve the pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachers in Lembah Melintang Subdistrict, which have not yet reached optimal results. In the classroom, some teachers were found using mobile phones while teaching or relying on them due to a lack of mastery of teaching materials. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method to examine the relationship between the democratic leadership style of school principals and the pedagogical competence of teachers in kindergarten. The subjects consisted of all principals and teachers at kindergartens in Lembah Melintang Subdistrict.
