    Peran Orang Tua Dalam Membentuk Karakter Anak Usia Dini Di Tengah Era Digital Dan Globalisasi

    This study aims to analyze the role of parents in shaping early childhood character amid the rapid development of the digital era and globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research involved 10 parents and 3–6 teachers from Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Fajar in Medan as participants. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and literature review. The findings show that parental involvement—particularly in monitoring children’s digital media use, providing behavioral modeling, and maintaining open communication—significantly contributes to the development of moral, social, and emotional character in children aged 4–6 years. Parents who consistently supervise gadget use and instill values such as empathy, discipline, and responsibility demonstrated greater effectiveness in strengthening children’s character. However, limited digital literacy and time constraints remain major challenges for parents. This study highlights the need for collaboration between families, schools, and communities to create a supportive environment for character education. The results provide practical implications for strengthening family-based character development strategies in navigating digital challenges and global cultural influence

    This study aims to determine the effect of Ninja Warrior Kids activities on gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years in learning activities at Amalan Foundation Kindergarten, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all Amalan Foundation Kindergarten students in the 2024/2025 school year. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, with Bintang class as the experimental group (12 children) and Bulan class as the control group (12 children). The experimental group received treatment in the form of Ninja Warrior Kids activities, while the control group followed the traditional game of engklek. Data were obtained through pre-test and post-test which were analyzed using the independent sample t-test statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant influence between Ninja Warrior Kids activities on children's gross motor development. This is evidenced by the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.017 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ninja Warrior Kids activities are effective as an alternative learning media to develop gross motor skills in early childhood. The findings of this research have significant implications for early childhood education, particularly in enhancing motor development through engaging physical activities. By integrating Ninja Warrior Kids activities into the curriculum, educators can promote physical activity that not only fosters gross motor skills but also encourages social interaction and teamwork among children. This experimental research highlights the importance of innovative approaches in early childhood education, suggesting that such activities can be a valuable addition to traditional learning methods

    Symbolic thinking is a crucial ability in the cognitive development of early childhood, particularly in the 4–5-year age range. At this stage, children begin to recognize and use symbols such as numbers and letters in their daily activities. This study aims to describe the role of play-based media in stimulating the development of symbolic thinking in early childhood. The research was conducted at RA ABC in Tasikmalaya City using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation of children's play activities, interviews with teachers, and documentation of the learning process. The research subjects consisted of 12 children from Group A and two classroom teachers. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results show that play media designed in an engaging and developmentally appropriate manner can effectively facilitate the gradual understanding of symbols. The children not only recognized the forms of symbols but also began to associate them with meaning or function within the context of play. These findings support Piaget's concept of symbolic representation and expand its application in early childhood education settings. The novelty of this study lies in the design of the symbol media, which integrates elements of numeracy and literacy into a unified play experience.     This study aims to increase children's independence and strengthen Islamic values ​​and offer novelty in the approach to early childhood counseling by integrating the stories of the Prophet as the main media. This study introduces a counseling model that is religious and contextual. The results of this study have significant practical implications for teachers, this approach can be a learning strategy as well as effective guidance in instilling values ​​of independence in a fun and meaningful way for children. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study approach. The subjects of the study included class teachers and students, while the object of the study was children's independence. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used deductive and inductive approaches. The results of the study showed that through interviews with teachers, it was found that the story of the Prophet was considered more effective than the lecture method because children were more interested, focused, and easily remembered the values ​​conveyed. Children's independent behavior began to be seen from them imitating the characters in the story. The effectiveness of Islamic counseling through the story of the Prophet can be seen from children easily grasping the message and making children happier.     This study aims to analyze the effect of using clay media on improving the ability to recognize geometry in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Umari Kindergarten. The background of this study is based on the lack of stimulation given to children related to the introduction of geometric shapes in daily learning activities. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, as well as a one group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. The test instrument consisted of a pretest and posttest using Student Worksheets (LKPD) that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in the ability to recognize geometry, with an average pretest score of 20.1 and increasing to 28.9 in the posttest. These findings indicate that clay media is effective in improving children's cognitive abilities in recognizing geometric shapes.     This study aims to determine the effect of ice breaking wire game activities on the concentration of early childhood learning. This study is based on the low level of children's concentration in the learning process which causes them to be easily distracted and have difficulty in completing tasks. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a sample of 8 people in group B at Al-Bayyinah Kindergarten as the control class and 8 people in group B at Al-Barokah Kindergarten as the experimental class. The data collection technique uses an observation sheet that covers three aspects of concentration, namely focus, duration of attention and suitability in working. The analysis used is descriptive statistics to describe data in both numerical and visual forms while inferential statistics to draw conclusions about a population based on data. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in children's learning concentration in the experimental class after being given treatment in the form of ice breaking wire game activities. This is evidenced by the N-gain value of the experimental class of 0.88 with a high category, while the N-gain value of the control class was only 0.093. In addition, it can be seen from the Mann Whitney U test the Asymp value. Sig.(2-tailed) 0.002 which is less than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means that there is an influence of the effectiveness of ice breaking wire game activities in developing the learning concentration abilities of early childhood children and there is a difference in the learning concentration abilities of early childhood children from both the experimental and control classe

    Peran Aplikasi Pembelajaran Digital (Quizizz, Kahoot!) dalam Evaluasi Pembelajaran

    This study aims to analyze the role of digital learning applications such as Quizizz and Kahoot! in the evaluation process of learning in elementary schools. This is a library research study, with the research subject comprising academic studies from the past five years and the research object focusing on the content and context of digital application use for learning assessment. Data collection techniques include documentation and literature review from recent scholarly journals. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-qualitative methods through identification, classification, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that Quizizz and Kahoot! effectively enhance student engagement, provide immediate feedback, and create an interactive learning atmosphere. These applications also assist teachers in monitoring student learning progress in real-time and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly. The conclusion of this study suggests that using digital applications in elementary learning evaluation is an innovative approach that positively influences student learning outcomes and motivation.&nbsp

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Environment-Based Learning in shaping environmental awareness and eco-friendly behavior among elementary school students. The research uses a library research method with theories of learning as the subject and academic articles related to environment-based learning in elementary schools as the object. Data were collected through document review of accredited national and international journals published in the last five years. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The results indicate that implementing environment-based learning approaches such as Problem-Based Learning, project-based learning, and outdoor activities significantly enhances students’ engagement, environmental literacy, and problem-solving skills.     Mad wa qashar are two important concepts in tajweed that relate to the length and shortness of the letters in the Qur'an. Properly understanding and applying mad wa qashar is essential to produce fluent recitation of the Qur'an. In this study, the author wants to analyse the material of mad wa qashar in learning al-Qur'an Hadith at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The research method used is a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, the main source is the Al-Qur`an Hadith textbook published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. After conducting an in-depth analysis, the author can find the structure of the Al-Qur'an Hadith material in Madrasah Tsanawiyah related to mad wa qashar consists of two sub-themes. The two sub-themes are: i) The definition of Mad wa Qashar, ii) Types of Mad and examples.     The skill of readings the Qur'an one of the fundamental aspect of Islamic education, particularly from an early age. During early developmental stages, children require an engaging, systematic approach tailored to their characteristics to effectively recognize and reads the Qur’an. The Iqra methods is widely used to introduce Arabic letters gradually through six structured levels. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Iqra method in Qur’anic reading instruction at RA Al-Ikhlash in Tasikmalaya and to identify the challenges and solutions encountered in its application. The research adopted a qualitative approach, and data were collected using techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Iqra method is implemented in stages according to each volume, using both individual and combined classical-individual approaches based on the child’s reading ability. The learning process is also enriched by instilling moral values through Islamic storytelling. Challenges include low concentration among students, limited parental involvement, and the lack of digital learning media. In response, teachers adopt creative, patient approaches and foster strong communication with parents. Evaluation is conducted by teachers from other classes to ensure objectivity. This study recommends strengthening the collaboration between educators and parents, as well as developing engaging educational media to support effective Qur’anic reading instruction for young children. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of moral values through Islamic storytelling within the Iqra method, combined with cross-class teacher evaluations as an effective strategy to enhance Qur’anic literacy among early childhood learner
