    Peningkatan Literasi Dasar Anak Usia Dini Melalui Media Kartu Kata Bergambar di TK Perwari 1 Tasikmalaya

    This study was motivated by the low basic literacy skills of early childhood learners in recognizing letters, letter sounds, reading, and writing their own names. The purpose of this research was to improve the basic literacy skills of children aged five to six years through the use of illustrated word card media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fifteen Group B children from Perwari 1 Kindergarten in Tasikmalaya City. Data were collected using observation, field notes, and documentation techniques. The data types included both qualitative and quantitative data. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques and quantitative calculations involving average scores and percentage achievements. The findings showed a significant improvement in children’s basic literacy skills. In the pre-cycle stage, the average achievement was 35.71%, increasing to 70% in the first cycle, and reaching 91.42% in the second cycle. This improvement indicates that the use of illustrated word cards successfully captured children's attention and stimulated their learning interest in recognizing and understanding letters and words in an enjoyable way. It is concluded that illustrated word cards are effective interactive visual media for enhancing early childhood literacy skill

    The rapid advancement of science and technology (Iptek) in the digital era requires educational institutions to focus not only on academic achievement but also on strengthening students’ faith and piety (Imtaq). However, previous studies have predominantly emphasized cognitive development without systematically integrating spiritual dimensions into educational programs. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Islamic Boarding School (IBS) program as an effort to enhance Imtaq and Iptek in developing students’ spiritual potential at MTs Negeri 1 Kebumen. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the IBS program is implemented through curriculum integration combining Islamic and digital literacy values, habitual religious activities, and additional services that support spiritual and intellectual formation. Teachers and IBS supervisors play crucial roles not only as educators but also as character facilitators and coordinators of religious activities. Supporting factors include parental involvement, a conducive school environment, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors stem from gadget use, student fatigue, and peer influence. This study concludes that the IBS program significantly contributes to balancing Imtaq and Iptek development and enriches the model of spiritual-integrated education in Islamic schools.     This study aims to determine the effect of coloring by number activities on improving focus in early childhood. Focus is an important ability that needs to be developed from an early age because it plays a role in the learning process, following instructions, and completing tasks independently. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 20 children aged 5–6 years at PGRI Kedunghalang Kindergarten, who were divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was given treatment in the form of coloring by number activities, while the control group was not. Data were collected through observations using a focus assessment sheet that covered four aspects: attention focus, accuracy, independence, and speed of completing tasks. The analysis results showed that there was a significant increase in all four aspects in the experimental group after the treatment, from the moderate to high category. In contrast, the control group only showed a small increase or tended to remain stable in the moderate category. These findings indicate that coloring by number activities are effective in improving focus in early childhood, because these activities require attention, accuracy, and independence in completing tasks visually and systematically. This study recommends the application of similar methods as an alternative, creative learning that is fun and appropriate to children's developmental stage

    Market day learning offers engaging and significant experiential opportunities for children aged 5 to 6 to acquire entrepreneurial values. By actively participating as vendors and purchasers, children acquire knowledge of responsibility, independence, cooperation, honesty, and communication in a contextual framework. Consequently, market day serves as an efficacious means of cultivating entrepreneurial traits from a young age. This research seeks to enhance children's entrepreneurial principles via market day activities at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in Pulau Sarak Village, Kampar Regency. This research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, executed in two cycles. Each cycle has two meetings encompassing the processes of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results indicated that in cycle 1, meeting 1, only 6 children (25%) attained mastery (BSH and BSB), whilst the majority were classified as Not Yet Developing (BB) and Beginning to Develop (MB). The mastery rate rose to 41.66% in cycle 1, meeting 2, then to 70.83% in cycle 2, meeting 1, and ultimately attained 91.66% in cycle 2, meeting 2. This rise signifies that entrepreneurial values are evolving effectively through a practical approach. Consequently, teacher performance in instruction improved from 58.75% (Very Poor category) to 92.5% (Very Good category). Consequently, it can be inferred that market day activities are beneficial in progressively and fully enhancing the entrepreneurial values of early children.     The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to improve speaking skills through hand puppets in children aged 5-6 years at the Santiaji Jaya Mertasari PAUD Institution. The type of research is classroom action research, data collection methods, observation and documents, then analyzed using quantitative and descriptive qualitative techniques. The results of this study showed a significant increase in speaking skills in children. Pre-cycle it was known that children's speaking skills had only reached 24%, or there were 6 children who developed. The results of the first cycle of action showed that children's speaking skills had developed 56%, or there were 14 children out of 25 who developed very well and developed according to expectations. The results of the second cycle of action showed that the development of children's speaking skills had developed 84% or as many as 21 children at the Santiaji Jaya Mertasari PAUD Institution developed very well and developed according to expectations, while the remaining 16% or as many as 4 began to develop and had not yet developed

    Early detection of developmental disorders in early childhood is crucial for optimal child development, particularly within Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD) institutions where teachers and parents share the amanah (trust) of nurturing children holistically. Despite its importance, collaboration between teachers and parents in conducting early detection remains underexplored in the Indonesian PIAUD context. This study aims to explore the collaborative model between teachers and parents in early detection of developmental disorders in PIAUD settings, integrating Islamic education perspectives. This research employed a systematic literature review approach, analyzing 35 selected articles from 2020-2025 focusing on early detection, teacher-parent partnerships, and Islamic early childhood education. Findings reveal that effective collaboration is built upon Islamic principles of ta'awun (mutual assistance), transparent communication, and shared responsibility. Teachers serve as professional observers in school settings, while parents act as primary observers at home. Key success factors include: (1) teacher competency in developmental screening, (2) parental awareness and involvement, (3) integrated communication systems, and (4) alignment with Islamic values of tarbiyah and ri'ayah. Teacher-parent collaboration in early detection represents a manifestation of shared educational amanah in Islam, facilitating timely intervention and optimal child development. This study provides a framework for PIAUD institutions to strengthen collaborative programs through Islamic-based training, parental education emphasizing religious responsibilities, and establishing communication systems rooted in musyawarah principle

    Pengaruh Permainan Tradisional Ular Naga Terhadap Perkembangan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia Dini

    Social-emotional development in early childhood is a crucial foundation for shaping children's character and interpersonal skills in the future. However, learning activities that lack collaborative social interaction often hinder this development. This study aims to examine the effect of the traditional game Ular Naga (Dragon Snake) on the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at TK Insan Masagena. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group model. The sample consisted of 16 children selected through purposive sampling, with 8 children in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.012 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after treatment in the experimental group. Thus, the Ular Naga game has a positive and significant impact on children's social-emotional development. These findings imply that incorporating traditional games into early childhood education can be an effective strategy for enhancing children’s social and emotional skills in an engaging and natural way. The main contribution of this study lies in strengthening the literature on integrating local cultural elements into holistic and contextual learning approaches in early childhood education, while also promoting the revitalization of traditional games as developmental tool

    Pengaruh Media Board Game Berbasis IT Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Simbolik Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

    This study aims to determine the effect of using information technology-based board game media on the symbolic thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years at Mentari Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The sample consisted of 20 children, who were divided into two groups: 10 children as the experimental group and 10 children as the control group. The experimental group was given treatment using IT-based board game media, while the control group used conventional media in the form of picture flashcards. Data collection techniques include observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's symbolic thinking skills in the experimental group with a Z value = -2.689 and p = 0.007 (p < 0.05), while the control group did not show a significant increase with p = 0.066 (p > 0.05).     This study aims to determine the implementation of the traditional jump rope game for children aged 5–6 years at Gracia Sudiang Kindergarten. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of the principal, teachers, and 15 children aged 5–6 years in classes B.3 and B.4. The results showed that the implementation of the jump rope game in a structured and integrated manner in learning activities was able to improve gross motor skills such as motor coordination, balance, and agility. In addition, children's social-emotional aspects such as the ability to wait for turns, work together, manage emotions, and foster self-confidence also increased. Supporting factors in implementation include teacher involvement, school support, and children's enthusiasm. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time, weather, and the influence of gadgets.     This study aims to develop educational play equipment (APE) made from recycled materials as a learning medium that can support the language development of early childhood at Pembina 2 Pekanbaru State Kindergarten. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The resulting product is a learning medium made from recycled materials designed to stimulate children's language skills. The results of the study indicate that this learning medium is considered feasible and practical for use by experts, teachers, and students. These findings confirm that the recycled material-based media developed is effective in supporting the improvement of early childhood language skills while instilling the values ​​of creativity and environmental awarenes
