PEMIKIRAN TEOLOGIS EDUKATIF YOHANES CALVIN SERTA RELEVANSINYA BAGI PENDIDIKAN BERGEREJA MASA KINI
Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to describe and understand how the thought of John Calvin who was a famous reformer figure from time to time. Calvin paid great attention to Christian education especially in the church. He arranged systematically the way, the content of the teaching, as well as the qualifications, self-image of the teachers both pastors and religious teachers who were all based on the Bible and to glorify God. The method used in this paper is a qualitative research method with a literature study study in which the researcher reviews, compares, formulates and analyzes Calvin's thoughts both in his life context, his thoughts through books, documents, journals and other relevant literature studies. From the findings it can be said that Calvin's educative theological thought is purely based on the Bible. For Calvin, the teaching of the Christian faith is determined by the Bible and interpretations that are right and right and can have a good influence on the church and society. Calvin is always thinking of the right way so that the quality of the faith of the congregation continues to develop well and can be implemented in a variety of social life. In the midst of challenges today the church is required not to be carried away by various kinds of ideas that do not emphasize the Bible as the basis of human life. As it was done, Calvin the priests, teachers of religion today are required with full responsibility to think deeply about ways to continue to nourish the true Christian faith based on the Scriptures so that the quality of their faith is well preserved and lives glorifying God

The tolerance of fellow human beings can be manifested in the life of religious tolerance. This study aims to: Know the adaptation strategies of Christian minorities in maintaining a life attitude of religious tolerance. This research was conducted in Tuntung Timur Village, Pinogaluman Subdistrict, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency for 3 (three) months, from October to December 2019. This research method was qualitative with the technique of determining the sample / informant was selected by purposive sampling to obtain the required data. The sampling technique is done by snowball sampling. Based on the results of research on social adaptation strategies undertaken by Christian minority communities in maintaining the attitude of religious tolerance, namely: Adaptation Strategies Based on Norms of Life consisting of: 1). GAMBARAN PROBLEMATIKA KOMUNIKASI RUMAH TANGGA KRISTEN DI KOTA KUPANG

However, marriage is not as smooth as they imagined when they were not married because there will be a variety of new problems that must be faced. The reason for this research is that poor communication can cause many problems in a Christian family. Communication plays a very important role in married life. As for the formulation of the problem that this research wants to answer, How big is the picture of communication problems in Christian households in the city of Kupang? What type of communication is used? How much does the church carry out Christian household accompaniment? This study surveyed 116 respondents who were married in the city of Kupang using Simple Random Sampling techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire based on the Gultman scale with two answer choices. Based on the results of the study concluded that the description of communication problems in Christian households in the city of Kupang is in the near-low category at 33.10%. The type of non-verbal communication used by research respondents was 68.10%. Based on 52.17% of respondents answered that the church does not carry out the task of assisting Christian household communication problems

This study aims to describe the management of choir strategies in Kr. Eben Haezar Manado. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Location of research in SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado, in 2018. Methods of data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of data analysis and interpretation, indications are obtained that: (1) The elements of strategy management that support the success of choir management are Man, Money, Method, Material, and Market. (2) Choir strategy management in SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado goes well. The strategy planning process is carried out by the management with guidance and input from the coaches and the coaches, and with supervision from the Eben Haezar Manado Foundation. From these findings, it is recommended that the management of Benzar Choir should make a written organizational structure in order to facilitate the affairs of the Benzar Choir data archive, and arrange the composition of the board by appointing coordinators so that they can help carry out better planned management of the strateg

Tulisan ini memandang pendidikan Yesus Kristus tersebut dari aspek psikologi pendidikan konstruktivistik; melalui pengembangan pendekatan teoritik konstruktif spasial dari Levebre, Soja, dan Flaganan. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk memberikan penawaran bagi akademisi yang bergulat dalam ranah pendidikan agama Kristen, sehingga boleh mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan bersaing dengan pendidikan dari Negara-negara maju di dunia. No full textArtikel ini hendak mendeskripsikan, menganalisis serta menerapkan secara teologis model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen bergereja dalam suatu komunitas dalam hal ini warga jemaat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Analisis serta interpretasi menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PAK bergereja harus diterapkan bagi warga gereja. Adapun dasar pembelajaran warga jemaat adalah belajar tentang Yesus Kristus dalam yang diwartakan dalam Alkitab kemudian diimplementasikan dalam hidup sehari-hari ditengah tantangan dan pergumulan hidup. Selain itu, program pelayanan khususnya terhadap pembelajaran PAK harus ditingkatkan dengan mengadakan kegiatan bimbingan belajar Alkitab, disamping ibadah-ibadah, katekisasi, dan konseling. Rekomendasi dari artikel ini mengarah kepada para pendeta juga majelis untuk terus mengadakan program pembelajaran PAK dengan berbagai model yang kreatif, variative agar melalui kegiatan belajar-mengajar di gereja, iman jemaat lebih bertumbuh untuk mengenal Yesus kristus dalam konteks hidup bergereja

Untuk itu individu diharapkan bisa mengelolah stress yang dimilikinya sehingga tidak berkepanjangan. Salah satu cara menangani Stress adalah dengan melakukan Konseling. Gereja yang memiliki Tugas Melayani Jemaat harus bisa menfasilitasi kebutuhan Jemaatnya akan Konseling terlebih bagi Pelayan Khusus untuk menunjang Pelayanan bagi Jemaat. Tujuan Kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknik Konseling yang tepat khususnya bagi Pelayan Khusus bagi Jemaat. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 38 orang, terdiri dari Pelayan Khusus dari beberapa Kolom yang ada di Gereja GMIBM Imanuel Modayag Kotamobagu. Metode yang digunakan adalah Seminar dan Workshop. Hasil yang didapatkan dari Pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam Melakukan Konseling dalam Melayani Jemaat yang memiliki Permasalahan atau Stress dalam Kesehariannya.

Nine’s Voice merupakan salah satu kelompok paduan suara sekolah di Sulawesi Utara yang bertempat di SMA Negeri 9 Manado. Banyak prestasi yang sudah diraih oleh paduan suara ini baik nasional maupun internasional. Kesuksesan tersebut membuat peneliti tertarik melihat bagaimana kepelatihan yang dimiliki oleh Nine’s Voice. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka peneliti merumuskan dua masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu, apa saja yang menjadi kriteria dari seoarang pelatih yang profesional dan bagaimana peran dari seorang pelatih yang professional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan, ada tiga aspek yang dimiliki oleh seorang pelatih yang profesional yang pertama yaitu, Skill (keterampilan), Knowlegde (pengetahuan), dan Attitude (Sikap). Peran Seorang pelatih bukan saja hanya berfungsi sebagai pengajar namun pelatih yang profesional memliki peran sebagai pengambil keputusan, pembentuk karakter kelompok, menciptakan budaya kelompok dan sebagai pengelola paduan suara

This research is purposed to know the society comprehension about abortion, factors that motivate women did the abortion, and how the Pastoral Counseling that will be held to the abortion subjects. This research is a qualitative research by using the case study method that will be held in Kalinaun Village in 2019.
From that results above, we recommend to the religious figures to do role as God’s servant in the church especially in the midst of the congregation even in the society, so that will be better behavior from the subjects that make the young women become more valuable, and how the government in Kalinaun Village can work together with the religious figures by making the program such as socialiszation about the abortion actions
