    Coverage and Connectivity Improvement Algorithms for the Wireless Sensor Networks

    In this paper we study the increase of coverage and connectivity in a sensor network with a view to improving coverage, while preserving the network’s coverage. We also examine the impact of on the related problem of coverage-boundary detection. We reduce both problems to the computation of Voronoi diagrams and intersectional point method prove and achieve lower bounds on the solution of these problems and present efficient distributed algorithms for computing and maintaining solutions in cases of sensor failures or insertion of new sensors. We prove the correctness and termination properties of our distributed algorithms, and analytically characterize the time complexity and the traffic generated by our algorithms. Our algorithms show that the increase coverage & Connectivity in wireless sensor density

    Analysis and Performance Evaluation of IEEE 802.11 WLAN

    With fast deployment of wireless local area networks VoIP over IEEE 802.11 wireless local area network (WLAN) is growing very fast and is providing a cost effective alternative for voice communications. WLANs were initially set up to handle bursty nonreal time type of data traffic. Therefore, the wireless access protocols initially defined are not suitable for voice traffic. Subsequently, updates in the standard have been made to provision for QoS requirements of data, especially the real time traffic of the type voice and video. Despite these updates, however, transmitting voice traffic over WLAN does not utilize the available bandwidth (BW) efficiently, and the number of simultaneous calls supported in practice is significantly lower than what the BW figures would suggest. Several modifications have been proposed to improve the call capacity, and recently isochronous coordination function (ICF) was introduced to mitigate the problem of low call capacity. The proposed modified ICF which further improves the performance in terms of the call capacity. The proposed scheme uses multiplexing and multicasting in the downlink to substantially increase the call capacity

    Effect of III-Pass on Microstructure, Micro Hardness and Static Immersion Corrosion Resistance of AA6061-T6/SiCp Surface Composite Fabricated by Friction Stir Processing

    In this current investigation, SiC particles 20μm in average size were incorporated into the commercially AA6061-T6 to prepare surface composite by using Friction stir processing (FSP). The morphology of the reinforcement inside the Al matrix has been evaluated from scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the corrosion characteristics of the resulted composite were evaluated using static immersion corrosion (SIC) behavior in 3.5% NaCl aqueous solution at various regimes. From the results, it observed that the SiC particles were distributed uniformly inside the stir zone (SZ) in both first and third-pass of FSP. The micro hardness of stir zone with SiC particles of I-pass was higher compared to III-pass and as-received Al alloy. In static immersion corrosion test the FSP AA6061-T6/SiCp exhibited significantly greater corrosion resistance in I-pass than compared to the III-pass and as-received Al alloy

    Efficient Algorithm for Auto Correction Using n-gram Indexing

    Auto correction functionality is very popular in search portals. Its principal purpose is to correct common spelling or typing errors, saving time for the user. However, when there are millions of strings in a dictionary, it takes considerable amount of time to find the nearest matching string. Various approaches have been proposed for efficiently implementing auto correction functionality. All of these approaches focus on using suitable data structure and few heuristics to solve the problems. Here, we propose a new idea which eliminates the need for calculating edit distance with each string in the dictionary. It uses the concept of Ngram based indexing and hashing to filter out irrelevant strings from dictionary. Experiments suggest that proposed algorithm provides both efficient and accurate results

First of all, we\u27ll look at some pros and cons for each, then we\u27ll dispel some myths perpetuated about both platforms. Remember both Microsoft and Apple share a good deal of technology. Both Windows and Mac OS use hundreds of patents shared between the two. Also remember that Microsoft makes a lot of software for the Mac including Microsoft Office which was created by a separate department for the Mac. So our concept here is to get the user access to both Mac OS and Windows OS on a single system. It must be done in such a way that it is applicable to both mac Intel and x86 based pc. This can be done with the help of third party applications in which few of them are even legally recognized by Microsoft and Apple.     A New Ultra Low-Power and Noise Tolerant Circuit Technique for CMOS Domino Logic

    Dynamic logic style is used in high performance circuit design because of its fast speed and less transistors requirement as compared to CMOS logic style. But it is not widely accepted for all types of circuit implementations due to its less noise tolerance and charge sharing problems. A small noise at the input of the dynamic logic can change the desired output. Domino logic uses one static CMOS inverter at the output of dynamic node which is more noise immune and consuming very less power as compared to other proposed circuit. In this paper we have proposed a novel circuit for domino logic which has less noise at the output node and has very less power-delay product (PDP) as compared to previous reported articles. Low PDP is achieved by using semi-dynamic logic buffer and also reducing leakage current when PDN is not conducting
