    Continuous Stirrer Tank Reactor (CSTR) is an important topic in process control and offering a diverse range of researches in the area of chemical and control engineering. A simulation on mathematical model has several advantages over the experiment on a real model or system, which is used for steady state analysis and dynamic state analysis. The main objective is to control the temperature of CSTR in the presence of disturbance. Various control approaches have been applied on CSTR to control its parameters through PID control and MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL (MPC). Model design and simulation are done in MATLAB SIMULIN

    Prof Chunliang Zhang received his BSc in 1984 and MEng in 1987 from Xi’an Jiaotong University. China, and then his PhD in 2004 from Zhejiang University China. Prof Chunliang Zhang is currently a Professor and Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Guangzhou University China. He is also Honorary Professor at the University of South China. Prior to Guangzhou University, he has worked in the University of Sydney. He has been the Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South China. His main research interests contain vibration control and dynamics, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, computer numerical control technology, and micro-manufacturing technology. He is the inventor of 4 patented technologies, and has published 3 books, edited 6 books and about 150 papers. He is editor, associate editor and editorial board member of many journals. He has received more than 10 awards, such as second Prize and third Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of State Commission of Science, Technology and Industry, third Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Hunan Province, and first Prize of Teaching Achievements Award of Hunan Province.     Prof. Janusz Kacprzyk studies computer science and automatic control at the Department of Electronics, Warsaw University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland. during1965 - 1970. He did his M.S. in computer science and automatic control in 1970 from the Warsaw University of Technology. He was awarded Ph.D. with distinction in systems analysis received in October, 1977 from the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. He was awarded with D.Sc. (habilitation) in computer science in 1990 from the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences. He was a full Professor, since 1997, awarded by President of the Republic of Poland and Academician (Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences), since 2002. He is a fellow of IEEE, IFSA and member-correspondent, Polish Academy of Sciences. He is foreign Member, Spanish Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences (Real Academia de Ciencias Economicas y Financieras) and President, International Fuzzy Systems Association (IFSA). He is President, Polish Society for Operational and Systems Research (PTBOiS). He has edited number of volumes in Fuzzy systems and soft computing.     Wind Tunnel Model - Fabrication Challenges

    Wind tunnel testing of scaled down model of flight vehicles is a must to generate aerodynamic data. Maintaining geometrical similarity between wind tunnel model and prototype is of prime importance during fabrication of such wind tunnel models. This not only requires accurate NC tool path generation for aerodynamic profile but also execution of the same through a wide variety of precise CNC machines selecting optimum cutting parameters. It was required to machine a wind tunnel model in Defence Research & Development Laboratory, Hyderabad using its existing fabrication facilities. Fabrication of different components of such a wind tunnel model and complexities associated with it has been presented in this paper

    MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDER AMONG WORKERS IN SMALL SCALE FORGING INDUSTRY

    Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are common health problem throughout the world and a major cause of disability in the workplace. This study was conducted among workers of a small scale forging Industries. The small scale forging units involve various kinds of high repetitive processes like Blanking, cutting, shearing, furnace loading, hammering, punching and trimming etc. the workers performing these type of activities are suffering from various MSDs. In this study I had surveyed 10 small scales forging industries and randomly selected 102 workers among these industries. The most common ergonomics problems were found in industry like wrong working positions of the workers and manual material handling. MSDs are found due to Inappropriate and poor working postures, lack of task variation, poor ergonomic design of work places, poor design of plant layout, long working hours, low salaries and awkward schedules are all areas where relatively simple intervention can Significantly reduce the rate of exposure to MSDs
