FABRICATION OF MICRO-WELL IN PMMA BY PCM AND X-RAY LITHOGRAPHY
During the last decade there has been a rapid development in Micro-Fabrication Technology driven by the need for low-cost Micro-Components and Micro-Systems. Micro-Components will be required in a range of new products such as medical devices, Micro-Well, Micro-Pillar Micro-Fluidic Systems. Applications for Micro-Systems have stimulated innovative developments, created new markets and a demand for low-cost components. These are particularly important in manufacturing industries such as the automotive, chemicals, medical instruments, computer parts and telecommunication sectors. The drive towards miniaturization places is increasing demand for new techniques and novel processing technologies. This paper describes the Manufacturing of X-ray Mask with Photo-Chemical Machining (PCM) and the Fabrication of Poly-Methyl-Meth-Acrylate (PMMA) structures with X-ray Lithography Technology. Fabrication of low cost X-ray mask has been done on Copper sheet and Brass sheet using PCM. X-ray Lithography is used to obtain high aspect ratio Micro-Well, Micro-Pillar and Micro-fluidic channel. IIMT, Bhubaneswar has designed this case writing competition with an objective to encourage the students to enhance their competency in case writing and as well as to recognize the entrepreneurs in the area of ‘small business and family business’ of their locality.
We have received 17 cases out of which this case on small business has been decided to be awarded as the best case by the jury.
The winner is awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2000 and a certificate of appreciation.

FPGA IMPLEMENTATION OF A DWT AND AES PROCESSOR FOR SECURE IMAGE CODING
With the fast growing of digital data exchange, security information becomes much important in data storage and transmission. Due to the increasing use of images in industrial process, it is essential to protect the confidential image data from unauthorized access. Better identification of which data is relevant to human perception at higher compression ratio is needed. In this DWT-AES processor a Reconfigurable Secure Image Coding is proposed. AN ANALITICAL APPROACH TO DEMAND-CAPACITY METHOD
The aim of seismic evaluation is to assess the seismic capacity of earthquake vulnerable buildings or earthquake damaged buildings for the future use. It has been observed that majority of buildings damaged due to earthquake may be safely reused, if they are converted into seismically resistant structures by employing retrofitting measures. Retrofitting of buildings is generally more economical as compared to demolition & reconstruction even in the case of severe structural damage. The present work emphasize on the seismic evaluation & different retrofitting strategies of R.C. buildings. For this purpose a step by step procedure for seismic analysis is done for a four storey R C building according to IS 1893 (part 1) 2002, the demand capacity procedure is presented. “ENHANCEMENT OF FLEXURAL STRENGTH OF RC BEAM USING KEVLAR FABRIC”
Enhancement of properties of reinforced concrete beams involves strengthening of existing members to carry higher ultimate loads or to satisfy certain serviceability requirements. In structural engineering the introduction of advanced composite materials, particularly adhesive bonded Kevlar fabric as externally bonded retrofit materials, has offered many benefits (i.e. corrosion free, excellent strength to weight ratio, ease for site handling, flexibility to conform to any shape). The use of Kevlar fabric will enhance the flexural behavior of concrete beams. Two point loading test has to be conducted on controlled and strengthened beams by varying the wrapping system. The experimental results are compared with the analytical. The merits and demerits of application of adhesive bonded Kevlar fabric are also discussed
Virtual Fabrication and Analog Performance of Sub-40nm Bulk MOSFET Using TCAD TOOL
Virtual Fabrication of sub-40nm Bulk MOSFET is carried out under channel engineering and source drain engineering process. These structures enable more aggressive device scaling in nano-scale region because of their ability to control short channel effects. How ever during scaling the junction depth should also be scaled down, which increases parasitic resistance so silicidation technique has been applied to reduce their effects on device. Analog performance has been measured in terms of gm, gds ,Av ,fT and fmax .The simulation result predict that gm is 3.75ms for engineered MOSFET as compared to nonengineered MOSFET with gm of 2.9ms for similar gate length, similarly Av for engineered device is 17.5db and for non-engineered device is 6.96db,fT is 146GHz and for non-engineered fT is 65GHz,fmax is 299GHz for engineered device and for nonengineered device fmaxis 170GHz and a comparison of an engineered device is done with a non engineered device to investigate the improved performance of an engineered device as compared to a non engineered device. Silvaco TCAD Tool is used for Virtual fabrication and simulation. ATHENA process simulator is used for virtual fabrication and ATLAS device simulator is used for device characterization

The goal is the use of reusable components as building blocks in new systems with modifications occurring in a controlled way. The reuse of software components is the key to improve productivity and quality levels in software engineering. A Study On High Dimensional Clustering By Using Clique
In real life clustering of high dimensional data is a big problem. To find out the dense regions from increasing dimensions is one of them. We have already studied the clustering techniques of low dimensional data sets like k-means, k-mediod, BIRCH, CLARANS, CURE, DBScan, PAM etc. If a region is dense then it consists with number of data points with a minimum support of input parameter ø other wise it cannot take into clustering. So in this approach we have implemented CLIQUE to find out the clusters from multidimensional data sets. In dimension growth subspace clustering the clustering process start at single dimensional subspaces and grows upward to higher dimensional ones. It is a partition method where each dimension divided like a grid structure. The grid is a cell where the data points are present. We check the dense units from the structure by applying different algorithms. Finally the clusters are formed from the high dimensional data sets
