DESIGN OF ULTRAWIDEBAND MONOPOLE ANTENNA WITH MINIMUM GROUND PLANE EFFECT

    Get PDF
A Planar ultra wideband antenna design is analyzed for increased impedance matching in the Ultrawideband (UWB) range (3.1GHz to 10.6GHz). Also the effect of the ground plane is minimized by cutting slot on the ground plane. Impedance matching of Ultrawideband (UWB) antenna can be improved by introducing simple microstrip transitions between the 50-ohm feed line and the printed disc. In this paper a dual step feed is proposed between the feed line and radiator. It also offers a very simple geometry suitable for low cost fabrication and straightforward printed circuit board integration. Here triangle slot is provided on the ground plane in order to reduce the ground plane effect. The radiator used here is elliptical disc

NANOMETRIC MODELISATION OF GAS STRUCTURE, A MULTIDIMENTIONNAL QUANTUM WELL

    Get PDF
The present work is dedicated to the numeric physical modelisation of the potential to the interface of a heterostructure in GaAsAl/GaAs. Calculs, using some projective methods, permitting the integration of Hamiltonian, with Green functions in the equation of Schrödinger, for a rigorous resolution with the equation of Poisson are elaborated. A study of convergence of globally no linear system is done and it confirmed for ten bases functions and a very determined electric wall position. The different parameter influence on performances of the GaAsAl/GaAs heterostructure is put in evidence; what will permit us subsequently to consider the dynamic of the carriers in a HEMT heterostructure by rigorous and complete manner

AN OPTIMIZED ARM SCHEME FOR DISTINCT NETWORK DATA SET

    Get PDF
Association rule mining (ARM) discovers correlations between different item sets in a transaction database. It provides important knowledge in business for decision makers. Association rule mining is an active data mining research area and most ARM algorithms cater to a centralized environment. Centralized data mining to discover useful patterns in distributed databases isn\u27t always feasible because merging data sets from different sites incurs huge network communication costs. In this paper, an improved algorithm based on good performance level for data mining is being proposed. In local sites, it runs the application based on the improved LMatrix algorithm, which is used to calculate local support counts. Local Site also finds a center site to manage every message exchanged to obtain all globally frequent item sets. It also reduces the time of scan of partition database by using LMatrix which increases the performance of the algorithm. Therefore, the research is to develop a distributed algorithm for geographically distributed data sets that reduces communication costs, superior running efficiency, and stronger scalability than direct application of a sequential algorithm in distributed databases

GENERIC LOSSLESS VISIBLE WATERMARKING BY USING TRANSLUCENT AND MONOCHROME METHOD

    Get PDF
Images make up a major component of multimedia content. Digital arts, illustrative diagrams, cultural heritage paintings in digitized for and digital photographs are examples of images. Advances in computing hardware, software, and computer networks have created threats to copyright protection and content integrity. In this paper, a new method for lossless visible watermarking is proposed by using appropriate compound mappings that allow mapped values to be controllable. The mappings are proved to be reversible for lossless recovery of the original image. The approach is generic, leading to the possibility of embedding different types of visible watermarks into cover images. Two applications of the proposed method are demonstrated, where opaque monochrome watermarks and non uniformly translucent full-color ones are respectively embedded into color images

ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL BEHAVIOR OF SOI LDMOSFET WITH RESPECT TO TEMPERATURE AND DOPING USING T-CAD SIMULATOR

    Get PDF
In this paper, the effect of temperature variation and doping variation of p-body on various parameters like Breakdown voltage, on resistance, drain leakage current, threshold voltage etc of SOI laterally diffused MOSFET has been analyzed. Since power mosfet is designed for radio frequency power amplifiers which is used in wireless system-on-a-chip applications. The device is fabricated on a thin-film SOI wafer in order to reduce the leakage current and also prohibit the formation of parasitic diode with substrate. On the basis of analysis we are able to prove that this SOI LDMOSFET has +ve temperature coefficient for breakdown voltage, negative temp coefficient for threshold voltage, positive temperature coefficient for on resistance and +ve temperature coefficient for drain leakage current

Reliability Analysis of A Radial Distributed Generation Distribution System

    Get PDF
Distributed Generation (DG) plays an important role in current power systems with high demand growth. DG provides an alternative to the traditional electricity sources like oil, gas, coal, water, etc. and can also be used to enhance the current electrical system. DG distribution is likely to improve the reliability of a power distribution system by at least partially minimizing unplanned power interruptions to customers due to loss of utility generators or due to faults in transmission and distribution lines/equipments. In this paper, a typical distribution system is considered and to show the reliability enhancement of the system, different components (fuses, disconnects, DGs) are step by step taken into account and added to the system in five cases. Analytical methodology is used for the analysis. The results demonstrate that DG does improve the reliability of the distribution system

    Get PDF
As we know internet has become a very important factor in our day today life. It is a wide media for communication and exchange of ideas for people staying in any nook and corner of the world. We have proposed a system in which we are developing a speech interactive web application services. Our main aim is to provide these services to the special ones who are unable to make use of the current system so efficiently. In our proposed work we are mainly focusing on the WEB APPLICATIONS. Many a times the disabled people are unable to access internet, for them this system will help to download news, or even access their mails through speech. Our proposed system mainly deals with the ability to handle web applications along with the O.S, mouse and keyboard control through speech, so that they can be used by persons without the use of the hands to develop an interface between the computer and the user. In our proposal we have used SAPI .It provides commands to the main central application which is handled by the GUI. Thus we look forward to develop web application through speech interaction

ESTIMATING THE EFFECT OF MACHINING PARAMETERS ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS DURING MACHINING OF HARDENED EN24 STEEL USING COATED CARBIDE INSERTS

    Get PDF
In the present study, an attempt has been made to evaluate the performance of multilayer coated carbide inserts during dry turning of hardened EN24 steel (47 HRC). The effect of machining parameters (depth of cut, feed and cutting speed) on surface roughness parameters (Ra and Rz) were investigated by applying ANOVA. The experiments were planned based on Taguchi’s L27 Orthogonal array design. Results showed that surface roughness parameters (Ra and Rz) are mainly influenced by feed and cutting speed, whereas depth of cut exhibits minimum influence on surface roughness (Rz) and neglegible influence in case of surface roughness (Ra). The experimental data were further anlyzed to predict the optimal range of surface roughness parameters (Ra and Rz). Finally, second order regression models were carried out to find out the relationship between the machining parameters and surface roughness parameters

INTERNET ACCESS IN REMOTE AREAS USING NXP MICROCONTROLLER AND GSM MODEM

    Get PDF
In India and many developing and under-developed countries, providing internet facility to many school-going students is still a far-fetched concept. Also, in places like DRDO, DRDL and ISRO campuses, where internet is blocked due to security reasons, lack of internet causes many problems even to those who have blocked it. In places where natural calamities have struck or in warzones where the attacker has taken down the internet infrastructure, contacting loved ones through social forums or just accessing basic internet facilities is impossible. In this paper, which is based on our project, we propose a new system which circumvents the internet architecture by using GSM infrastructure to access internet services, albeit on a reduced scale. This can be done by using a GSM Modem interfaced to a microcontroller (NXP in this case.) The command sets of each service offered in the system are integrated in the source code. The GSM Modem is controlled through AT Commands and sends SMS messages to access internet services and receives information in the form of SMS messages. All subsystems in the module are interfaced to the microcontroller
