The Influence of Motivation and Work Environment on Nurses Performance in Public Hospitals Sundari Medan
Get PDFHospital is a means of health efforts that carry out health service activities and is an institution for providing services. Complex services need to be managed professionally for human resources. One of the service providers at the hospital is a nursing staff. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on the performance of nurses at RSU Sundari Medan in 2020. The research method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 60 nurses at Sundari Hospital Medan. The sampling method using the total population. The results of the study prove that motivation has a significant effect on the performance of nurses at Sundari Hospital Medan. This shows the results with a P-value (0.000) which is significantly smaller than α = 0.05. The work environment has a significant effect on the performance of nurses at Sundari Hospital Medan, showing the results with a p-value (0.081) which is significantly smaller than α = 0.05. The conclusion from the results of this study shows the influence of motivation, work environment on the performance of nurses in the hospital. Sundari Medan in 2020. It is hoped that the nursing managers can improve the quality of hospital services both in quality and quantity and minimize work stress and workload for nurses

The Effect of Life Quality on Erderly with Hypertension at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital
Get PDFThe process of aging affects physical and mental changes which result in decreased endurance, resulting in various diseases such as hypertension. An increase in blood pressure is thought to be influenced by poor quality of life. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of quality of life in the elderly with the incidence of hypertension. This type of research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches (Mixed Methods). The research was conducted at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia General Hospital. Population of 360 people and sample of 78 people. The research informants were 7 people.. The results showed that the quality of life in the dimensions of independence, intellectual function, and back depression had an effect on the incidence of hypertension at Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia General Hospital, p = 0.000. The most dominant variable or the one with the greatest influence on the incidence of hypertension in this study is the variable level of independence which has a value of Exp (B) / OR = 3,943, meaning that the elderly with independence depending on their activities with other people have the opportunity to experience high category hypertension (Grade 2) of 3.9. times higher than the elderly who are independent. The conclusion of this study is that the incidence of hypertension in the elderly is influenced by quality of life (independence, intellectual function, and depression back). It is recommended that Mitra Medika Tanjung Mulia Hospital make a policy on geriatric services by providing counseling services for the elderly, providing counseling on prevention and management of hypertension, such as occupational therapy (healing process through activities)

Description of Fertile Age Couples with Long Term Contraception
Get PDFThe use of LTCM has many advantages and more recommended by the government than non-LTCM because it is more efficient, safer and more effective. However, the facts on the ground are that women with FA prefer non-LTCM. Data from the Pasar Merah Village were LTCM acceptors (34.42%), while non-LTCM acceptors (65.57%). This study was to analyze the descriptions of long-term contraceptive users (EFA). This research was an analytic survey with a Cross-Sectional design. The research was conducted in Pasar Merah Village. The populations were 610 women with a sample of 86 people. Data analysis was univariate, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression with 95% confidence (α=.05). The results showed that variables associated with long-term contraceptive method users by women of FA in East Pasar Merah Village were knowledge (p=.001) and husband's support (p=.012). Unrelated variables were age (p=.118), parity (p=.019), education (p=.122), income (p=.375), health worker support (p=.128). The most dominant factor, namely the knowledge variable, had a value of Exp (B)/OR = 5.938, meaning that the respondent had good knowledge, the opportunity to use LTCM was 5.9 times higher than respondent with less knowledge. The conclusion of this research is that the husband's knowledge and support are related to the use of LTCM. It is suggested that PKB and PLKB increase counseling for women with FA and husbands so that the knowledge of women with FA increases, husbands can provide positive support. Counseling can be done individually or in groups online during the Covid-19 pandemic

Perception of Foreign Tourists towards Gorontalo Tourism Destinations
Get PDFThe purpose of this study for the purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of transit tourists about Gorontalo Tourism Destinations through tour guides and recommendations from efforts to develop Gorontalo Tourism Destinations. This type of research is qualitative with four data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that tourist perceptions are positive because Gorontalo Tourism Destinations are used as the main destinations in their visits. Destinations are developed and attractions are created to be served to tourists. Another thing to note is the provision of information boards for tourists who go to places far from the city, such as the Hungayono Forest. The information board is related to directions to the nearest hospital or health center along with telephone numbers that can be contacted and the nearest police station along with telephone numbers that can be contacted. This is needed so that if something happens, tourists know what to do, where to go and know the phone number to contact the needed party. Of course, this gives tourists a sense of security to visit faraway places without any doubts even if they are accompanied by a tour guide. Not only the environment, but cultural preservation also needs to be maintained and maintained in an effort to achieve the creation of sustainable tourism development
