    COVID-19 Awareness Survey Data, Knowledge and behavior among Sétif students

    COVID-19 is a serious infectious disease caused by the novel Coronavirus; SARS-CoV-2. It causes acute respiratory problems. This virus is highly infectious and can be transmitted by droplets or by close contact.These data presents a survey data describing COVID19 awareness, knowledge and related behaviors among Sétif students. The data were collected from students through a survey distributed by an online questionnaire, assessing personal information (four items), COVID knowledge (five items), and related behaviors (one item), from April until June 2020. The samples consisted of 500 students who were willing to fill an online questionnaire. Microsoft Excel 2013 was used to present the data.The results showed that the cultural level of the students reflects a large knowledge of this virus, its contagion, its transmission and the methods of prevention

    Supervision of master's theses at the time of Covid-19 impact and lessons learned

    The suspension of all educational activities during the Covid-19 health crisis in all Algerian university establishments had significant repercussions on teaching / learning in general and on the supervision and writing of master's theses in particular. The social distancing measures imposed by the pandemic context have guided teachers towards researching and adopting new communication alternatives in order to effectively replace face-to-face work.This contribution examines the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic on the supervision of master's theses. Indeed, this study is based on the analysis of the results of a questionnaire administered to teachers in the French department of the University of Constantine.Analysis of the data collected showed that the Covid-19 pandemic had both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, the results of this study confirm that the deadlines and quality of writing dissertations were negatively affected; on the other hand, computer literacy among teachers has improved remarkably

    Post-traumatic stress disorder COVID-19: A clinical study on one case

    The current study aims at detecting the trauma disorder of infection with the Coronavirus Covid-19 in one 35-year-old case who has contracted the disease since July 2020, who was diagnosed using the clinical approach and case study, based on the fifth Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-5), besides to content analysis of the semi-directed clinical interview conducted with the case.The study indicated that the case suffered of psychological trauma as a result of infection with the Coronavirus Covid-19; the main symptoms of which are panic attacks, death anxiety, feeling frustrated, avoidance behavior, eating and sleep disturbance

    Communication and health in Algeria between information and rumor: Diagnosis of students knowledge and sources of information about the Corona virus

    The sudden appearance of Covid 19 in the world has changed the communication and coexistence behavior of individuals. For its part, health in Algeria was not prepared to face a crisis marked by the rapid transmission of a new virus and a serious lack of information, which accelerated the emergence of rumors.The present study diagnosed the knowledge and sources of information of a sample of young people that consisted of 120 students by distributing electronic questionnaires) on Covid 19 to determine the rumors and the reasons for their emergence.Preliminary results confirmed that not all student’s information were correct, but instead contained rumors that were arisen for several reasons: -The absence versus the need for official information which was not sufficient.-The novelty of the virus and the lack of consensus between specialists.-Social networks made it easier to spread rumors and shared them

    The present study aimed at identifying the positive and negative thinking students at the sociology department/Abou Bakr Belkaid university (Tlemcen) . It also sought to test the effect of some variable as gender and family socio-economic level .The field study was conducted on a sample of 100 students at the University of Tlemcen who were subjected to the types of thinking scale of Abdul Aziz Hanan (2012) The result of the study indicated that-the students thinking style was positive ,and-there was no significant differences between males and females in the thinking style.-there was no significant differences in thinking style due to the socio-economic level in favor of the higher level

    Psycho traumatic symptoms among those recovering from Covid-19 virus after hospitalization

    Assessment of burnout syndrome among secondary school teachers (Yaoundé-Cameroon)

    This study determined the prevalence of burnout and identified the socio-demographic and professional factors that influence burnout among secondary school teachers. A study by self-administered questionnaire made it possible to collect the data. SPSS version 20.0 software allowed us to analyze the data. 244 teachers aged 20 to 60 were included. The prevalence of burnout was 57.79%. Note that 19% of the variance in emotional exhaustion is explained by length of service in the establishment, age, marital status and sex [R2 = 0.19, F (4, 239) = 4.96, p <0.05]. Also, 21% of the variance in depersonalization, is explained by Seniority in the establishment, the number of children in care, sex and marital status, [R2 = 0.21, F(4, 239) = 16, 94, p <0.05]. Finally, 15% of the variance in loss of personal accomplishment is explained by marital status, seniority in the establishment and age [R2 = 0.15, F (4, 239) = 15.03, p <0.05]. This study shows that burnout among secondary school teachers is a reality. Age, marital status, number of children in care, seniority in the establishment and gender have a significant influence on burnout

    The effect of cognitive-behavioral and narrative group counseling on decreasing anxiety and depression in divorced and widowed Syrian women

    The current study sought to examine the effect of a group counseling program that combines cognitive-behavioral therapy and narrative therapy in reducing anxiety and depression among a sample of divorced and widowed Syrian women.The experimental group (n = 20) and the control group (n = 20) were chosen from a total available sample (n = 81) of the divorced and widowed Syrian women who visited one of the NGOs in Dhaleel, Zarqa, Jordan.A group counseling program was developed that consisted of (14) sessions with a rate of (3) weekly sessions, based on the perspectives of cognitive-behavioral therapy and narrative therapy.The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the scores of the control group on the measures of anxiety and depression in the post-test in favor of the experimental group
