pupils Screening with academic difficulties in Algeria: A field study on primary middle and secondary schools
In this article, we present the first part of our work. It is a question of referring to Quebec's experience in preventing school dropout.The main objective of the research is to verify the primary and secondary school failure rates in Algerian schools.Two steps were necessary, namely:1. the development of a screening tool for students at risk of school failure and 2. The screening test in primary and secondary schools includes 12 teachers and some 560 pupils.Research results show that students' difficulties are of the following order of importance: 46% with learning difficulties, 30% with internalized behavioral difficulties and 24% with externalized behavioral difficulties.An analysis of the results of the comparison between boys and girls shows that, in general, girls are identified as good pupils more frequently than boys. Indeed, among the latter, the risk rate is higher than among girls (55%) so more than one among two boys, is at risk of dropping out of school whereas for girls, it is 36%, that means one girl among 3girls
Quality of life and its relation to psychological adjustment among middle school students
The study was designed to identify the relationship between quality of life and psychological adjustment among middle school students A field study was conducted on middle school students. The study sample consisted of (60) students of middle school in the state of Mostaganem for the academic year 2017/2018, using a descriptive approach. The relationship between self-efficacy in the methodology of scientific research and self-efficacy and guidance level among university students
The present study aims at identifying the relationship between the degree of self-efficacy in the scientific research methodology and the self-efficacy and the degree of ambition among the university students.In order to achieve the study goals, the descriptive approach was applied. Concerning the study sample58 graduated students were selected in a simple random way.The self-efficacy scale in the methodology of scientific research and self-efficacy scale, and the level of ambition scale were adopted.the results indicated the following:. The average score on self-efficacy in scientific research methodology reached 195.74,- the level of ambition reached 69.27,- the indicative self-efficacy scale reached 103.68.-There was a significant relationship between self-efficacy in the methodology and self-efficacy among university students.-There was no significant relationship between self-efficacy in the methodology and the level of ambition among university students -There was significant relationship between self-efficacy and the level of ambition among university students
Challenges and perspectives of distance teaching in Algerian higher education: A case study on ENS in Setif during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis
The objective of this contribution is to draw up an inventory of online teaching during a period of confinement. It is about presenting the representations of a new experience, strewn with pitfalls, encountered by most university teachers and more particularly those of the department of letters and French language at Mentouri Constantine 1 University.Our approach is based on a questionnaire administered to these teachers, aimed at identifying the strategies deployed by them in order to make contact with their students, pass on teachable knowledge and assess knowledge.The results show that the asynchronous mode dominates the other modes of distance education, no doubt due to the ease of use of the e-mail and the faculty site, excluding almost any form of real-time communication such as “chat” or videoconferencing, thus posing problems of monitoring and evaluation
The impact of the Spread of the Corona "Covid 19" Pandemic on the Degree of Appreciation of the Sense of Death Anxiety among A sample of the Parents of the University Students in Gaza Governorates
The study aimed at identifying the effect of the spread of the Corona pandemic "Covid 19" in the degree of estimating the feeling of death anxiety among a sample of university students' parents in Gaza governorates in the light of variables: (sex, health level, social level), the study followed the descriptive approach in its analytical field, and the sample of the study was selected from (660) Parents of students of Al-Azhar University in Gaza governorates and the study tool consisted of a scale designed by the researcher, and the study found that the study estimated the impact of the prevalence of the Corona pandemic in the degree of anxiety of the parents of the university in Gaza governorates. University students in Gaza governorates received relative weight (43.28%) that' slow. The study also confirmed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the individuals in the sample of the impact of the corona pandemic in the degree of estimation of the sense of anxiety of death in a sample of the parents of university students in the governorates of Gaza due to the sex variable. While, the study showed statistically significant differences due to the change in health level, the differences were in favour of the "chronically ill" and "often a normal disease". The study also showed statistically significant differences in the overall degree of resolution attributable to the change in the social level, and the differences were in favour of the poor families
The Reasons Behind Parental Reluctance in Communication With Schools from Teachers Perspective in Gaza Strip
The study aimed at identifying the reasons behind parent’s reluctance in communicating with UNRWA school in the Gaza strip.The researchers used the descriptive-analytical method (survey).The study sample consisted of 260 UNRWA teachers from Gaza stip.The results showed (88.2%) of teachers agreed that the main reason behind parent’s reluctance is due too parents ignorance of their children and not follow them, about (87%) of the sample found that it is due to the low educational level of parents, in addition (85.1%) found that parents are busy all the time, also (84.5%) of parents as thinking that the school is the responsible for the education process
The Visually Impaired Children Teachers’ needs For Teaching Skills
This study aims at identifying the visually impaired children teachers’ needs for the teaching skills, and knowing the extent to which their needs for these skills is related to gender and visual ability variables (sighted, partially sighted and blind).The researchers had prepared a questionnaire of teachers’ needs for teaching skills, where distributed to a sample of (102) dispatching on 7 willayas of Algeria (Laghouat, Batna, Biskra, Algeries, Constantine, Bordj Bou Arreridj, El-Oued).The results of the study showed that there were low capabilities of Teaching skills among teachers in all dimensions of the questionnaire; it was also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the needs for Teaching skills due to the sex and visual ability (sighted, partially sighted and blind)
The impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) on the actors and components of the educational system
The COVID-19 crisis has led several countries to close their schools, heavily disrupting the learning process of many pupils and students, as well as their families. During this period, distance-learning solutions were implemented to ensure pedagogical continuity. But, despite all these measures, school closures according to several studies could have negative effects on education systems around the world.This article aims to know the effects of the virus on education systems around the world, based on the content analysis of the results of studies and reports on the Covid-19 disease that have been carried out by researchers, international institutions and organizations such as (UNESCO, UNICEF, World Bank, OECD, and African Bank).The results showed that this virus has significant and varied negative effects on the actors and components of the education system
Recreational Sports Activities Programs and their Contribution to reduce Anxiety and Stress among Teachers under Quarantine Circumstances: A field study on the municipality level of Ain Oussara, Wilaya of Djelfa–Algeria
This study aims at recognizing the extent of sports activities programs contribution, to reducing acute anxiety and stress among teachers in the light of quarantine circumstances against corona pandemic.Hence, this study was conducted on a purposive sample which included 150 teachers (males and females).To achieve the goals of the study, a descriptive method was used through distributing questionnaire forms on the participants.The percentage and the chi2 test were adopted to analyze and interpret the results.The main results that were concluded are: sports activities programs of recreational nature have effective contribution to reducing acute anxiety and stress among teachers, especially in this phase we are going through (corona pandemic)
The attitudes of the female doctors towards the professional stress in the light of corona virus pandemic: A field study on the public hospital institution of the martyr’s saad guermech saoudi/amar/ahmeida in skikda, Algeria
This study aims at finding out the doctors ’attitudes towards the organizational climate of the health institution in the state of Skikda. a questionnaire was used in data collection; it was distributed on a sample of 40 doctors.the results indicated:-The presence of negative trends among doctors work conditions, after the the application of incentives and rewards system and after the pattern of supervision.-the presence of positive trends towards communication and technology in light of the repercussions of the Corona virus.Consequently, doctors have negative trends towards the organizational climate change in the health institution in light of the repercussions of the Corona virus
