    Purpose: This study discusses the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation of boarding-based education on Sunan Pandanaran Aliyah Madrasah religious program students and how the results helped by considering the implementation of this pesantren-based character education. Method: This research is a field research, the data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were students of Sunan Pandanaran Aliyah Madrasah. This study discusses qualitative descriptive, namely research that discusses what phenomena are discussed by research in this case the students of Sunan Pandanaran Aliyah Madrasah in the implementation of boarding-based character education. Findings: The results of this study indicate that (a) pesantren-based character education planning is well integrated with the madrasah vision and mission announced on all subjects and the purpose of developing affective / physical aspects both spiritual and social. (b) Implementation of pesantren-based character education integrates character education in all subjects, according to the RPP made by each subject teacher, then the character education requested through explanations, providers of examples and challenges to facing challenges, habituation to noble behavior is done every day, and teachers and boarders provide good role models

    Background: Environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and biodiversity loss, which have been exacerbated by human activities, have become a global concern, where education plays a crucial role in raising awareness and fostering more environmentally conscious behavior in society. Purpose: This research aims to describe the management of environmental education in Adiwiyata Mandiri School at SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan include planning, organizing, actuating, controlling, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. Method: This research is a qualitative approach conducted. Techniques of collecting research data are interview, observation and document analysis. The main informants are the Principal, Vice Principal, Environmental Coordinator. Supporting informants are teachers and students. Data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative analysis with stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Techniques of checking the validity of the data used in the research is data triangulation. Findings: Result of research  indicated that management of Environmental Education in Adiwiyata Mandiri School at SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan cover planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling have done well. Supporting factor is commitment of the school's residents to environmental education, qualified human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and cooperate with various stake holder. Inhibiting factors are the motivation in developing environmental education is still fluctuating, skills in integrating environmental education in subjects is still limited, and limited funds. The undertakings include new student orientation based on environment, and involving the school's residents in environmental-themed education and training activities

    Setiap ibu pasti akan memberikan yang terbaik kepada anaknya seperti pada saat proses menyusui atau pemberian ASI. ASI direkomendasikan untuk diberikan hingga anak usia dua tahun atau lebih. Dalam proses menyusui tersebut, ibu akan mengalami beberapa faktor yang mengganggu seperti ASI keluar tidak secara lancar. Hal ini tentu saja akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap anak dan ibu. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk menghindari ASI keluar secara tidak lancar pada proses menyusui. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 02-08 Januari 2024 menggunakan konsep community-based participatory research (CPR).  Jumlah responden yaitu 5 orang. Media yang digunakan berupa leaflet dan materi edukasi mengenai massage oksitosin. Kuisioner pre dan post test digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil pemahaman ibu hamil Desa Saradan Kab. Sragen tentang massage oksitosin

    Background: Textbooks are essential in facilitating independent and structured learning for students, supporting teachers in delivering curriculum-aligned material, and ensuring vocational high school students gain relevant industry skills for effective knowledge transfer and achievement of learning objectives. Purpose: This study aims to produce textbooks for making men's shirts that are worthy of being used as instructional materials and to know the effectiveness of using textbooks for students of class XI at SMK Negeri Gunungkidul District. Method: This study is research and development (R&D) with reference to the Borg and Gall development model, namely:1) Conducting product analysis, 2) Developing initial products, 3) Expert validation and revision, 4) Small-scale field trials and product revisions, 5) large scale field trials and final products. The product trial design consists of media experts and material experts, as well as field trials. Data collection techniques are, observation, questionnaires and tests. The feasibility test of teaching books was analyzed using descriptive analysis. Whereas to test the effectiveness of textbooks, data were analyzed using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05.   Findings: The results showed that textbooks for making men's shirts were categorized as feasible, with the assessment of media experts getting an average score of 4.6 and based on the assessment of material experts, they got an average score of 4.28. The resulting textbook is effective to be used for students of Class XI Fashion Design at SMK N 1 Saptosari, as evidenced by the average pretest value of 64.12 increasing in the posttest of 83.21, the result of tcount ≥ t table (22.028≥ 1.696)

    Background: Teaching in the 2013 curriculum emphasizes scientific methods, with one model that applies this approach being inquiry. Inquiry is considered a learning strategy that focuses on the role of students, where they are actively involved in a series of learning activities, including searching for information, analyzing and concluding the results of their findings during the learning process. Purpose: The aim of this research is to develop an inquiry-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) regarding belief in the books of Allah and love of the Koran and also determine the feasibility of the inquiry-based LKPD. Method: Employing the Research and Development (Rnd) methodology, the study follows Thiagarajan's 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Findings: LKPD is validated by material experts and media experts. Validation is carried out twice by the material validator. The final validation results by material experts reached a percentage of 96% in that "very feasible" category. That final validation interpretation by media experts, which were carried out once, obtained a percentage figure of 94.6% in the "very feasible" category. Testing of teacher responses showed a percentage of 90% with positive responses. Meanwhile, testing the responses of students in small groups showed a percentage of 90.6% with positive responses. Thus, based on the research results, it can be concluded that the development of inquiry-based Islamic Religious Education and Character Worksheets for class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bekri is suitable for use as a learning medium in the learning process at school

    This research aims to conduct a literature review on students' mathematical understanding ability in solving problems on ratio and scale material at the junior high school level and to understand the importance of mathematical understanding for students in the learning process so that students are able to solve mathematical problems and are able to see the importance of students' mathematical understanding in everyday life. The method used in the research is a literature review of various indexed sources with the source of the study in the form of students' mathematical understanding in mathematics learning. It is necessary to teach ratios to students with a high level of mathematical understanding in addition to forcing them to memorize formulas. Moreover, as a means of promoting good comprehension during the learning process, students receive additional, varied practice questions. In order to further encourage students to improve their mathematical grasp of ratio content, teachers should also play a role in encouraging a type of early appreciation in the development of students' mathematical understanding and by giving them several opportunities to review and fix errors

    Background: Indonesian as a subject is not only important in academic aspects, but also plays a role that is influenced by external and internal factors, external factors such as National Examination scores, internal factors such as discipline and motivation to learn. Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the influence of the Indonesian Language National Examination Score, discipline, and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language students in junior high schools throughout Pandak District. Method: The research is survey research with cross-sectional method. The population in this study were 658 grade VIII junior high school students in Pandak District, including SMP Negeri 1 Pandak, SMP Negeri 2 Pandak, SMP Negeri 3 Pandak, SMP Negeri 4 Pandak, and SMP "17" Pandak, while the research sample consisted of 228 respondents determined using proportional random sampling. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. Findings: The results of the multiple linear regression test found that variable X1 had a positive and significant partial effect on variable Y, based on rxy (0.325). Variable X2 had a positive and significant partial effect on variable Y based on the rxy value (0.206). Variable X3 had a positive and significant partial effect on variable Y based on the rxy value (0.211). The Indonesian National Examination Score, discipline, and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language in junior high schools in Pandak District, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta based on the F count value (14, 558). The form of influence is positive, namely there is a tendency that is directly proportional between the independent variables and the dependent variables

    Background: The Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK) is a form of evaluation implemented by the Indonesian government in order to measure the achievement of graduate competencies at certain levels of education. However, the implementation of UNBK also presents its own challenges for students, especially in terms of technological readiness and the ability to adapt to computer-based systems.. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of information technology and communication guidance, motivation, and understanding of computer use on the readiness of 9th grade students to deal with computer-based national examinations in SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Pajangan. Method: The type of this research is quantitative research, which is carried out in the Public Middle School in Pajangan Subdistrict, Bantul, DIY. The method of collecting data through a survey with a questionnaire, with a population of 464 and a sample of 210. The analysis technique of the study used a prerequisite test of descriptive analysis, normality, linearity, multicollinearity and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 23. Findings: Simultaneous multiple linear regression test results obtained f count of 18,199 greater than f table of 2,65, then between information technology and communication guidance, motivation and understanding of computer use affect the readiness of 9th grade students in dealing with UBNK. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest several things: (1) The Education Agency should propose that information and communication technology be re-incorporated into the curriculum structure, (2) Teachers are advised to motivate students to be better prepared to face the UNBK, (3) Students are advised to better understand computer usage and matters related to the implementation of UNBK

    Purpose: This research aims to explore and analyze learning management carried out by art teachers at Vocational High School (SMK) 5 Yogyakarta. The main focus of this research is to identify effective learning management strategies, which consist of planning and implementing learning carried out by art teachers at the school. Method: This research is qualitative. Subjects of this study were art teachers of ceramics crafts, wooden crafts, and metal crafts at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Determination of the subject is done by random sampling, which consists of 3 teachers and the object of research is the effectiveness of art teachers learning process. Data was obtained using observation, interviews, and documentation, as descriptive analysis. Findings: The results of descriptive research reveal that art teacher learning at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta is viewed from the aspects of learning planning and learning implementation. Learning planning activities carried out by teachers have been realized in the form of a syllabus and lesson plans. Teacher learning activities at SMK Negeri 5 Yogyakarta go through three stages, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The learning carried out by the teacher was declared successful as proven by the students' work with good work in terms of creativity, beauty, form and completion of the final result. Evaluation of learning by teachers is realized by scoring in the form of numbers based on minimum completeness criteria

    Background: This research is motivated by the importance of teacher performance in determining the quality of education. Factors such as supervisory supervision, principal leadership, and teacher work motivation are thought to have a significant contribution to teacher performance. Method: To test this hypothesis, quantitative methods were used with multiple and partial regression approaches. Data was collected from 21 schools and analyzed to determine the extent to which each factor influences teacher performance. In addition, the data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression and partial correlation.   Findings: The research results show that there is a significant positive influence on the contribution of supervisory supervision, principal leadership, and work motivation on teacher performance with an effective contribution of 76.8%. These findings indicate that these three factors play an important role in improving teacher performance. Therefore, efforts to improve teacher performance should be focused on improving the quality of supervisory supervision, principal leadership, and teacher work motivation
