Research on financial risk forecast model of listed companies based on convolutional neural network

    Get PDF
Journal articleWith the continuous improvement of China’s market economy, many listed companies enjoy the unlimited development opportunities brought by the market economy environment but are also threatened by various potential risks. They may be labeled “ST” at any time due to financial risks. The label may even end up in danger of delisting. Most companies encountered serious financial crises or even bankruptcies in the later period because they did not pay enough attention to the financial problems that occurred in the early stage and did not take effective measures to deal with the crisis in a timely manner. This is extremely detrimental to the subsequent development of the company. Therefore, more and more attention has been paid to the research on the financial risk status of enterprises. Therefore, on the basis of analyzing the financial information of listed companies, this article extracts the characteristics of listed companies and images them and uses convolutional neural networks to construct a financial risk prediction model to improve the accuracy of risk prediction. Specifically, this article also compares and analyzes the financial risk prediction models of different types of listed companies, optimizes the index system, and uses the convolutional neural network method to construct a targeted financial risk prediction model with data characteristics. The actual operation data and actual risk data of the listed companies are verified, proving that it has strong adaptive ability to face different types of data, strong operability, and high prediction accuracy

Abstract onlyA vocational school is an educational institution that can refer to either secondary or post-secondary education which aims to give vocational education or technical skills necessary to accomplish the requirements of a specific career. Barangay Luca, Ajuy is rich in livelihood skills that can help the families and their community as a whole. The barangay has a great number of weavers but without a proper avenue to display and cater to that skill. To address the concern, the town needs a vocational center to cater to the weavers which helps in the expansion of the livelihood as well as raise the economic status. The vocational center can not only be an avenue for the weavers to express their skill but to raise awareness and encouragement to the next generation of weavers as well. The proposed vocational center is a one-storey building made of reinforced concrete with a steel truss. The design standards and structural analysis of detailing works in the structural plan were based on the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) 2015, and Ultimate Strength Design (USD). Programs including AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel were used to calculate and design the project. The proposed vocational center in Barangay Luca, Ajuy has a total floor area of 513.11 square meters. The construction of the project has a total duration of 125 calendar days with a total cost of Php 2,776,003.89Includes bibliographical referencesBachelor of Science in Civil Engineerin

Abstract onlyThis study aims to design, fabricate, and test a grains mixer for a flatbed dryer in Barangay Badiangan, Ajuy, Iloilo. The farmers suffer low corn quality, and stirring the corn is labor- intensive. A mechanical dryer stirrer is to increase the corn quality of the place while at the same time eliminating or reducing the labor force. The stirrer is a horizontal paddle- type stirrer that employs both translational and rotational motion to thoroughly mix the corn. The stirrer consists of the main shaft, trapezoidal paddles, and 1.5 HP electric motor with a gear-based drivetrain, frame housing, and foundations around the perimeter of the dryer. The main tests are cost analysis and the comparative calculation between computational and the actual. The cost analysis showed Php 13, 391 in savings. After completing the investigation and analyzing the data, the researchers operated the grains mixer, and it was functional. The results except the rotational speed were within 10%. The stirrer can move over a 6-meter width truss-type platform and a 12-meter length railings. The paddle arm was able to reach at the bottom of the bed with a clearance of 7 cm to make an allowance due to the identified obstruction and the condition of the bed such as the uneven steel matting and entangled nets. The RPM was 13.5, which is quicker than manual mixing. Since the calculations were based on a full capacity of the flatbed dryer, comparing rotational speed is more realistic with 200 sacks of com grains. Overall, the stirrer was working and the computational values compared to actual were expected.Includes bibliographical referencesBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineerin

Journal articleThis study, which aimed to determine the financial attitude towards budgeting, saving, borrowing, and investing among students of a private higher education institution in Iloilo City, utilized the descriptive research design. The stratified random sampling method was used in choosing the 256 respondents who were drawn from a population of 714 which consisted of 382 third-year and 332 fourth-year students who had taken a course in Personal Finance. The data needed in this study were gathered using the researcher-made questionnaire. The frequency count, percentage and standard deviation were used for descriptive statistics. The t-test and the ANOVA, set at .05 level of significance, were used for inferential statistics. The results revealed that students had favorable attitude towards budgeting, saving, borrowing, and investing but the t-test computations revealed that a significant difference was noted when respondents were grouped according sex. A significant difference also existed in students’ attitude towards borrowing when grouped according to age which, therefore, resulted in the rejection of the null hypotheses. However, no significant difference was noted when respondents were grouped according to year level but when grouped according to age, there was no significant difference in students’ attitude only towards budgeting and saving. Likewise, the ANOVA computations showed significant differences in students’ attitude towards saving when grouped according to course specialization but no significant differences in students’ financial attitude towards budgeting, saving, borrowing, and investing when respondents were grouped according to course specialization and monthly allowance which led, therefore, to the acceptance of the null hypothesis.Central Philippine Universit

    No full text
AbstractClassroom management relies heavily on teacher’s philosophical beliefs and principles. However, due to the demands of teaching alone, and now the demands of the new learning modality, it is significant to ask if they still have time to reflect if their teaching principles are tailored in students’ learning. Thus, this descriptive qualitative study sought to map out teachers’ practice principles in teaching speaking in an online class, through their reflective practices. Reflective practice is an integral part of the teaching-learning process. Through this, teachers can meditate on one's actions so as to involve in a process of continuous learning. In this study, Schon’s (1983) Reflective Practice Model was used to map out ESL teachers’ reflective practices and principles in teaching speaking in an online class. The respondents of the study were the five teachers who handle Oral Communication in Context for Senior High School learners, from pre-determined private schools in Iloilo. Semi-structured interview guide was utilized to gather data from the official participants through an online individual interview via Zoom Meeting. For the analysis procedure, thematic analysis was used. The general results of this study presents the following teaching principles of ESL teachers who teach speaking in an online ESL class: learners with low ‘affective filter’ will learn speaking skills faster; the language input should be interesting for the learners; for novice learners, teachers should focus on their delivery rather than the form; input in the target language should be provided sufficiently; the input should be understandable for the second language learners; learners should be given avenues to practice speaking in second language; the competency or objectives of the course should always be aligned with the activities; the assessment tools should be carefully planned; instruction needs to consider learners' individual differences; and motivational activities should be planned and well-thought of.Includes bibliographical referencesMaster of Education (English as a Second Language
