Hubungan Antara Penggunaan Gadget dengan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VI UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto
The purpose of this study was to describe how strong the relationship between the use of gadgets and the learning outcomes of mathematics students in class VI UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto in the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is correlative quantitative research. The sample in this study were VI grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto in the 2022/2023 school year as many as 10 students. The instruments in this study were questionnaires and tests. From the results of the analysis, a correlation value of 0.806 was obtained, meaning that there is a very strong correlation between the use of gadgets and the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI UPTD SD Negeri 12 Guguak VIII Koto students in the 2022/2023 school year

This study aims to determine whether the GRASP approach can improve reading comprehension of class VIII students of MTs Al-Kifayah Riau. The research methodology was classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each consisting of 4 meetings. Reading test was used as an instrument of this research. To obtain the data, 33 class VIII students of MTs Al-Kifayah Riau became the research subjects. Based on the results of the research, class VIII students of MTs Al-Kifayah Riau were able to improve their reading comprehension using the Guided Reading and Summarizing Procedure (GRASP) strategy. Students improved better after the second cycle of action. Therefore, the Guided Reading and Summarizing Procedure (GRASP) strategy is sufficient for reading comprehension of class VIII MTs Al-Kifayah Riau.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pendekatan GRASP dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas sebelas MTs Al-Kifayah Riau. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Masing-masing dari dua siklus yang peneliti lakukan termasuk empat pertemuan. Itu menggunakan penilaian membaca sebagai alatnya. 33 siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Kifayah Riau dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Peneliti ingin melihat seberapa baik siswa dapat memahami apa yang mereka baca. Hasil tertulis siswa dari siklus I dan II terlihat perbedaan hasil. Siswa meningkat lebih baik pada akhir tindakan siklus kedua. . Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan GRASP dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sebelum dan sesudah evaluasi siklus I dan siklus II. Persentase peningkatan dari tes membaca ke Siklus I sebesar 45,45 %, dan dari Siklus II sebesar 87,87 %, menurut penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Kifayah Riau mampu meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dengan menggunakan metode Guided Reading and Summarizing Procedure (GRASP)
Hubungan Hasil Belajar Kalkulus I Dan II Terhadap Hasil Belajar Statistika Matematika I Mahasiswa Matematika Universitas Negeri Padang
The Mathematical Statistics I course in the Padang State University Mathematics Study Program can be taken by students after studens have taken Calkulus I and Calculus II courses. The purpose of this study was to examine the significance of the contribution of Calculus I and Calculus II learning outcomes to Mathematical Statistics I learning outcomes. The population in this study were all UNP Mathematics Study Program students and the sample was students majoring in mathematics Class of 2018 with a total sample of 42 people. The technique used to take samples in this study is using cluster sampling or taking samples in groups. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression using Excel. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant contribution between Calculus I learning outcomes and Calculus II learning outcomes towards Mathematical Statistics I learning outcomes
REFLECTIVE TEACHING DONE BY ENGLISH DEPARTMENT STUDENTS IN MICRO TEACHING CLASS
Reflective teaching is done to know the strength and weakness from process of teaching. Opening skill, arranging lesson skill, timing allocation skill, explaining skill, giving stimulus variation, and closing and evaluating skill were reflected by candidates of teacher in this research. This research used descriptive research in qualitative method. The purpose of this research was to know the implementation of reflective teaching in micro teaching class. The method of this research was descriptive research. The participants of this research were the sixth semester in micro teaching class at English department of STKIP Yayasan Abdi Pendidikan Payakumbuh. In collecting the data, the researcher applied observation, students’ journal, and recording. In analyzing data, the researcher used some steps, they are: data managing, reading/memoing, classifying, interpreting, and writing report. After doing the research, the researcher got the result that 63,3% students in micro teaching class were able to reflect themselves. Thus, the students were able to implement reflective teaching in micro teaching class
INTEGRATING POWTOON VIDEO INTO WHATSAPP GROUP CLASS IN TEACHING READING
This research integrates Powtoon videos and WhatsApp group classes to teach reading in Intensive reading subjects. It describes the implementation of Powtoon Video and Whatsapp Group Classes in Intensive Reading classes for English Teaching Department students of Universitas PGRI Madiun during the pandemic era. Descriptive qualitative was chosen as a research method. The subject of this research is the first-semester students of the English Teaching Department consisting of 16 students. The research data were collected through observation and interviews. The collected data was then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result of this research shows that, in general, the process of online teaching by using Whatsapp Group Class and Powtoon video is conducted into two sections. The first is preparation and the second is implementation. In preparation, the lecturers have to prepare some teaching devices, such as lesson plans, Powtoon video material, YouTube channel, and some rules for conducting the class. The class implementation consists of pre, main /breaking time, and closing activities. The different things in this research are found in the main activities or it’s called breaking time. It’s different from real classroom activities. The class was conducted with extraordinary treatments and in boundless time caused of the low access to internet signal and most of the students live in rural areas. This type of combination makes the students feel comfortable because they can access the material at every time and everywhere. By this situation, it will create a meaningful teaching-learning process, the student’s motivation will appear automatically, and they become a more active and self-individual learner.
 
TRANSLATION IDEOLOGY ON MUALLAF NOVEL: VIEWED FROM PROCEDURE APPLIED
Muallaf novel contains many cultural terms and concepts that translator was faced with translation ideology, whether translator will maintain cultural concept of source text or adapt it to cultural concept of target text. This choice has implication for the application of translation procedures. This research was focused on two objectives, namely translation procedure used by translator and translation ideology chosen by translator. Researchers used qualitative research as the approach and descriptive qualitative as type of research. Primary data was Muallaf novel by John Michaelson and secondary data were some appropriate journals and related books. Data collecting technique used was documentation. Sample was gained from four subparts of novel. Data analysing technique used was data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. First research result indicated that there were 11 procedures used in translating the novel that categorized into foreignization (SL-oriented) including literal, borrowing and calque and other procedures that categorized into domestication (TL-oriented) including free, adaptation, transposition, description, modulation, reduction, amplification and word for word. The finding about procedures was then used to generate second research result which showed that translator applied foreignization and domestication to be carried out in translating novel. The results of this research can provide input and new insights for translators to combine two ideologies rather than to adopt one of two ideologies in order to produce translation that can still reflect cultural aspects of SL while on the other hand readers do not feel if what he is reading is a work of translation. Due to previous researches that use this novel as an object of study this research can add findings from different point of view. This research also become input for next researchers to study translation ideology to improve translation quality
MAKNA KIASAN DALAM RANGKAIAN TRADISI MANGGODOK NAGARI KUBANG NAN DUO KECAMATAN PAYUANG SEKAKI KABUPATEN SOLOK (KAJIAN SEMANTIK)
The background of this research is that the people of Nagari Kubang Nan Duo, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency, do not understand figurative eating itself. The manggodok tradition is not something that is done without any meaning behind it. A group of people carry out a custom or tradition without understanding the meaning of the custom itself which results in the community not understanding the series of customs themselves. Therefore, it is feared that there will be ignorance in the regional culture so that the cultural values ??in it will fade and disappear slowly. The purpose of this research is to describe the figurative meaning of the manggodok tradition in Nagari Kubang Nan Duo, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency (Semantic Review). This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The object of this research is the Manggodok tradition in Nagari Kubang Nan Duo, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency (Semantic Review). The steps for collecting data in this study are as follows: 1) Researchers carry out field observations by coming directly to the house where the manggodok tradition is carried out. 2) Doing documentation or taking photos in the manggodok tradition in Nagari Kubang Nan duo, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency. 3) interviewing and recording informants' speeches as well as asking questions about the manggodok tradition. 4) Record the results of the interviews that have been interviewed. The findings of the semantic review research are idioms, expressions, and proverbs. Based on the data obtained in the research, the figurative meaning in the manggodok nagari tradition of Kubang Nan Duo, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency (Semantic Study) contains a total of 46 data, 20 idiom data, 17 expression data, and 9 proverb data. These semiotic studies cannot be separated from one another. It is hoped that the community will be able to preserve and apply figurative meanings in the series of manggodok nagari Kubang Nan Duo traditions, Payuang Sekaki District, Solok Regency.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masyarakat nagari Kubang Nan Duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok yang kurang memahami makan kiasan itu sendiri. Tradisi manggodok bukanlah sesuatu yang dilakukan tanpa adanya makna dibelakangnya. Sekelompok masyarakat menjalankan suatu adat atau tradisi tanpa memahami makna dari adat itu sendiri yang mengakibatkan masyarakat kurang memahami tentang rangkaian adat itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, dikhawatirkan terjadinya ke tidak mengetahui dalam budaya daerah sehingga nilai-nilai budaya yang ada di dalamnya akan memudar dan hilang secara perlahan. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mendeskripsikan tentang makna kiasan dalam rangkaian tradisi manggodok di nagari Kubang Nan duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok (Tinjauan Semantik). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah rangkaian tradisi manggodok di nagari Kubang Nan duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok (Tinjauan Semantik). Langkah-langkah pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut 1) Peneliti melaksanakan observasi lapangan dengan datang langsung ke rumah yang melaksanakan tradisi manggodok. 2) Melakukan dokumentasi atau menfotokan dalam tradisi manggodok di nagari Kubang Nan Duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok. 3) mewawancarai dan merekam tuturan informen sekaligus memberi pertanyaan tentang rangkaian tradisi manggodok. 4) Mencatat hasil wawancara yang telah di wawancarai. Temuan penelitian tinjauan semantik adalah idiom, ungkapan, dan peribahasa. Pada data yang telah didapatkan dalam penelitian, bahwa makna kiasan dalam rangkaian tradisi manggodok nagari Kubang Nan Duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok (Kajian Semantik) keseluruhan 46 data, 20 data idiom, 17 data ungkapan, dan 9 data peribahasa. Kajian semiotika tersebut tidak dapat dipisahkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Diharapkan kepada masyarakat agar dapat melestarikan dan menerapkan makna kiasan dalam rangkaian tradisi manggodok nagari Kubang Nan Duo Kecamatan Payuang Sekaki Kabupaten Solok
Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Mahasiswa Melalui Contextual Teaching And Learning Di FKIP UMMY
The purpose of this research is to improve students' ability to solve mathematical problems in calculus 2 courses. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in 2 cycles. The steps in each cycle are planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting, which are the basis for planning improvements to the next cycle. The research subjects were students of the mathematics education study program who took the Calculus 2 course at FKIP UMMY for the 2011/2022 academic year, a total of 19 people. The research data were analyzed descriptively from the test. The results showed increased students' mathematical problem-solving ability from 21.1% in cycle I to 52.6% in cycle II. So it can be concluded that the CTL approach can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in calculus 2 lectures at FKIP UMMY Solok
ANALISIS NILAI MORAL DALAM NOVEL SURAT KECIL UNTUK TUHAN KARYA AGNES DAVONAR
The background of this research is motivated by the existence of moral values ??that are very useful for readers. Little Letter to God, famous for the real life story of a teenage girl who suffered from soft tissue cancer for the first time in Indonesia. This is the background to the research problem which contains moral values, namely the relationship between humans and themselves, the relationship between humans and other humans, the relationship between humans and nature and the relationship between humans and God. The aim of this research is to describe the analysis of moral values ??in the novel Little Letters to God by Agnes Davona. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection can be done using the following steps: (1) Reading the novel repeatedly to understand the content of the novel to be studied. (2) Code and underline quotes contained in the novel Little Letters for God by Agnes Davonar that contain moral values. (3) Record the data that has been coded in the Novel Little Letters for God by Agnes Davonar. Data analysis is: (1) Read again all the data that has been collected. (2) Classify the data containing Moral Values ??in the novel Surat Kecil untuk God by Agnes Davonar based on the table format in the research instrument. (3) Draw conclusions from data analysis. (4) Write a complete report. The amount of data found was 146 data, so in the novel Small Letters for God by Agnes Davonar, many moral values ??were found, namely the relationship between humans and themselves.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terdapatnya nilai moral yang sangat bermanfaat bagi pembaca. Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan, terkenal dengan kisah kehidupan nyata seorang gadis remaja yang menderita kanker jaringan lunak pertama kali di Indonesia. Hal inilah yang menjadikan latar belakang masalah peneliti yang terdapat nilai moral yaitu hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, hubungan manusia dengan alam dan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhannya. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan Analisis Nilai Moral dalam Novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan Karya Agnes Davona. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Membaca novel secara berulang kali untuk memahami isi novel yang akan diteliti. (2) Memberi kode dan menggarisbawahi pada kutipan yang terdapat pada Novel Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan karya Agnes Davonar yang mengandung nilai moral. (3) Mencatat data yang telah diberi kode pada Novel Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan karya Agnes Davonar. Analisis data yaitu: (1) Membaca kembali semua data yang sudah dikumpulkan. (2) Mengklasifikasikan data-data yang mengandung Nilai Moral dalam novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan Karya Agnes Davonar berdasarkan format tabel yang ada di instrumen penelitian. (3) Menarik kesimpulan dari analisis data. (4) Menulis laporan secara utuh. Jumlah data yang ditemukan sebanyak 146 data, jadi pada novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan karya Agnes Davonar banyak ditemukan nilai moral yaitu hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri
KEMAMPUAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI UNSUR-UNSUR TEKS DRAMA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER II SMP NEGERI 4 LEMBANG JAYA TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023
This research aims to describe the ability to identify the elements of drama texts for class VIII Semester II students at SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive methods. The population of this research was class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya, Solok Regency. The research sample for class VIII C students registered in that academic year was 72 people, with a sample size of 24 people. The research sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling technique by taking subjects from each stratum or each region determined to be balanced or comparable with the number of subjects in each stratum or region. The data collection technique in this research is a performance test. Data analysis techniques include reading, correcting and scoring student test results, converting raw scores into grades, classifying student grades on a scale of 10, making a histogram, and summarizing the results in the form of a thesis. The results of the research on the ability to identify the elements of a drama text, the average score of students' ability to identify plot elements, namely 94.33, is in very good qualifications, students' ability to identify elements of characterization, namely 95.75, is in very good qualifications, students' ability to identify dialogue elements, namely 100, are in perfect qualifications, students' ability to identify elements, namely 100, is in perfect qualifications, students' ability to identify theme elements is 55.04, is in almost sufficient qualifications, students' ability to identify message elements, namely 88.66, is in very good qualifications. . Based on the qualifications above, it can be concluded that the students' ability to identify the elements of drama texts in class VIII Semester II of SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya for the 2022/2023 academic year has been able to identify drama texts in very good qualifications with a mastery level of 86-95% with a score average 89.06.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama siswa kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengguanakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok. Sampel penelitian kelas VIII C siswa yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran tersebut adalah berjumlah 72 orang, dengan jumlah sampel 24 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive sampling dengan cara pengambilan subjek dari setiap strata atau setiap wilayah ditentukan seimbang atau sebanding dengan banyak subjek dengan masing-masing strata atau wilayah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes unjuk kerja. Teknik analisis data berupa, membaca, mengoreksi dan memberikan skor hasil tes siswa, mengubah skor mentah menjadi nilai, mengklasifikasikan nilai siswa dengan skala 10, membuat histogram, dan menyimpulkan hasil dalam bentuk skripsi. Hasil penelitian kemampuan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama, nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur alur yaitu 94,33 berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur penokohan yaitu 95,75 berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur dialog yaitu 100 berada pada kualifikasi sempurna, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur yaitu 100 berada pada kualifikasi sempurna, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur tema 55,04 berada pada kualifikasi hampir cukup, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur amanat yaitu 88,66 pada kualifikasi baik sekali. Berdasarkan kualifikasi di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama siswa kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya tahun ajaran 2022/2023 telah mampu mengidentifikasi teks drama berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali dengan tingkat penguasaan 86-95% dengan nilai rata-rata 89,06
