Pengaruh Buku Pop-Up terhadap Penguasaan Kosakata Siswa
The research addressed the issue of insufficient vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Kubung during the 2022/2023 academic year. The students' limited proficiency in vocabulary was attributed to factors such as rote memorization and the lack of diverse instructional media. Consequently, pop-up books were selected as a teaching medium to investigate their impact on students' vocabulary mastery. The research employed a quasi-experimental design, and the population comprised 94 eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Kubung for the 2022/2023 academic year. Cluster random sampling was utilized to select a sample of 63 students, with 31 assigned to the experimental group and 32 to the control group. The experimental and control groups were determined through a random draw. The pre-test score averaged 32.68, but it significantly increased to 70.41 after the intervention. Analysis using an independent samples T-test indicated that pop-up books had a more substantial impact compared to traditional pictures. The rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) suggested a significant positive effect of using pop-up books as a teaching medium on students' vocabulary mastery in the eighth grade at SMPN 1 Kubung for the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the findings, it is recommended that teachers consider this research when exploring a broader range of teaching media to enhance student engagement in vocabulary learning. Furthermore, future researchers are encouraged to explore additional avenues for improvement and refinement based on the insights gained from this study
Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning di Kelas VI UPTD SD Negeri 06 Maek
The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Discovery Learning model in class VI SD Negeri 06 Maek. This type of research is a class action research conducted in two cycles. This research was conducted at UPTD SD Negeri 06 Maek, Bukuk Barisan District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class VI UPTD SD Negeri 06 Maek in the 2023/2024 academic year totaling 15 people consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, tests, and attitude journals. The results showed that learning on theme 2 increased every meeting from cycle I 67% of students scored above the Minimum Completion Criteria, Cycle I Meeting II reached 80% and cycle II reached 93% until cycle II. So it can be concluded that the improvement of student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the discovery learning model in class VI SD Negeri 06 Maek
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Projek Based Learning dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Anekdot Siswa Fase E SMAN 3 Painan
This study is aimed to determine: (1) the difference of students’ writing anecdot text ability between low and high motivated students taught by Project Based Learning model and conventional learning; and (2) the effect of learning approach and learning motivation in writing news text ability. The theory that became the reference in this research is the contextual opinion of Johnson and Komalasari, theory of motivation is adopted from Sardiman, and writing news text is gotten from Panggabean. This study is a quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was all students of class X SMAN 3 Painan, the total number of students is 120. The sampling technique is cluster sampling technique. The sample was X E1 as experiment class, and X E2 as control class. Based on data analysis, the result of research was done at the 95% level of confidence: (1) The improvement of writing news ability of students taught by using contextual learning was significantly higher than students taught using the conventional learning because t_observed = 7.48> t_table = 2,021; it can be seen that the students' response in the process of teaching and learning by using contextual learning is better (2) the improvement in the students' writing news ability who have low learning motivation which is taught using a contextual learning is significantly higher than the students who have low learning motivation taught by using the conventional learning, with t_observed = 6.99> t_table = 2.048; (3) the improvement of students' writing news ability with high learning motivation which is taught by using a contextual learning is considerably higher than students who have high learning motivation taught by using conventional learning, t_observed = 2,36> t_tabel = 2,048 (4) there is an interaction between learning approach and student's learning motivation on year twelve students' writing anecdot text ability at SMAN 3 Painan, with Fobserved = 5,554 <Ftable = 4,02; in conclusion, the contextual learning can be used as an appropriate learning approach and improve the learning outcomes of news text writing ability.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis teks anekdot terhadap motivasi yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan konvensional; dan (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap keterampilan menulis teks anekdot. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, membandingkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok yang diberikan pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Projek Based Learning (PjBL) atau kelompok eksperimen (X) dan kelompok yang diberikan pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot tanpa model pembelajaran peojek based learning atau kelas kontrol (Y). Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis data, diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 79,52, sedangkan untuk kelas kontol 66,29. Dengan demikian, diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks anekdot kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes unjuk kerja .Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil penelitian, yaitu (1) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,000, atau probabilitas dibawah alpha 0.05(0.000<0.05). Dasebut maka Ho ditolak dan H? diterima.(2) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelompok kontrol sebesar 0.000, atau probalitas di bawah alpha 0,005 ( 0.000 ? 0,005). Dari hasil tersebut Ho ditolak dan H? diterima.(3) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0.001, atau probalitas di bawah 0.05(0.000 ? 0.05).Dari hasil tersebut maka Ho ditolak dan H? diterima.
Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki selisih 13,23. dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Projek Based Learning (PjBL) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Painan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023 
AN INVESTIGATION OF GENDER DIFFERENCES AND SELF-EFFICACY IN WRITING PERFORMANCE AMONG COLLEGE EFL LEARNERS
This study was conducted to examine if gender and self-efficacy affected the writing performance of Indonesian EFL learners in college level. The research sample consisted of 150 students, comprising 67 males and 83 females. The sample was selected using convenience sampling technique, and all participants signed an informed consent form. This correlational study employed statistic analysis to determine the relationships among independent and dependent variables. Statistical analysis involved Pearson correlation test, independent t-test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results showed that writing performances of male and female groups were significantly different. However, the evidence strengthening the claim that male and female learners perform differently in terms of linguistic aspects of written outcomes was limited. Gender proceeded to explain considerable differences in writing performance, in addition to composition skills.

This research addresses the observed discrepancies among students in the second semester of the English program at UIN Bukittinggi in the academic year 2022/2023. Some students showed low vocabulary proficiency together with low listening proficiency, while others showed high proficiency in both areas. The study aims to investigate the relationship between students' vocabulary mastery and their listening ability. Using a correlational design, the research involved a population of 105 second semester English students at UIN Bukittinggi, using cluster sampling due to the larger population size. Data collection methods included tests to assess vocabulary mastery and listening skills. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) was used for analysis using SPSS 25. The results showed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.892) between students' vocabulary mastery and listening ability. This correlation falls in the high range (0.70-0.90), indicating a robust relationship between the two variables. Hypothesis testing further supported this correlation, with the calculated rxy (0.892) exceeding the critical value of the r-table (0.344) at ? = 0.05. Therefore, the research accepts the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejects the null hypothesis (Ho), confirming the positive correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and listening skills
Pengaruh Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbasis Karakter Percaya Diri terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa SMP
This study was motivated by the low ability of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study was to determine whether students' concept understanding ability after is better than before using the RME approach based on confident character. This type of research is quantitative research using Pre-experimental design. The subjects of this research were ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. Hypothesis testing was carried out with non-parametric tests, namely the Wilcoxon test because the data was not normally distributed. Based on the results of the analysis obtained analysis = 29 and = 126 this means H0 is rejected so that H1 is accepted meaning that the ability to understand the concept of students after better than before using the RME approach based on confident character
PENGARUH MODEL KUNJUNGAN GALERI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN 4C SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN CERPEN
The research entitled "The Influence of the Gallery Visit Model on Students' 4C Ability in Short Story Learning" was motivated by students' lack of interest in short story learning. This happens because teachers have not been able to use appropriate learning models for learning short story texts. The aim of this research is to see whether the use of the gallery visit model can influence students' 21st century skills, namely what is known as 4C (Cerative, Communicative, collaborative and critical). This research uses a qualitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. In this research, data was obtained that the classes that received treatment showed an increase in 4C abilities compared to classes that did not receive treatment.Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengaruh Model Kunjungan Galeri terhadap Kemampuan 4C Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Cerpen” dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran cerpen. Hal ini terjadi karena guru belum mampu menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk pembelajaran teks cerpen. Tujuan peneliatian ini yaitu untuk melihat apakkah penggunaan model kunjungan galeri dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan keterampilan abad 21 siswa yaitu yang dikenal dengan istilah 4C (Cerative, Communicative, collaborative, dan critical thinking). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif dengan metode quasi eksperiment. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa kelas yang mendapatkan perlakuan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan 4C dibandingkan dengan kelas yang tidak mendapat perlakuan.
 
PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN BELAJAR DARI PENGALAMAN (EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING) DENGAN BERBANTUAN MEDIA BUKU TEMPEL (SCRAPBOOK) DALAM MENULIS TEKS LAPORAN HASIL OBSERVASI (LHO) KELAS X (FASE E) DI SMAN 3 PAINAN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis Pengaruh Keterampilan Menulis Teks LHO dengan Menggunakan Metode Experiential Learning dengan Berbantuan Media Scrapbook pada siswa kelas X (Fase E) di SMAN 3 Painan. Teori yang menjadi acuan dalam penelitian ini tentang metode pembelajaran Experiential Learning dan media Scrapbook dalam menulis teks LHO. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasy experimental design). Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa di SMAN 3 Painan yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dan menetapkan kelas X E3 dengan peserta didik sebanyak 29 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X E2 dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 29 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu : 1) Nilai rata-rata Kemampuan menulis teks LHO yang diajar melalui Metode Experiental Learning dengan berbantuan Media Scrapbook sebesar 36,72, lebih tinggi dari pada nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang diajar melalui Metode pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 33,36. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan peserta didik yang diajar melalui Metode Eksperimen menulis LHO menggunakan Scrapbook dan Metode Konvensional. Perbedaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang diajar melalui Metode Eksperimen menulis LHO menggunakan Scrapbook lebih baik dari peserta didik yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran Metode Konvensional. 2) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara Metode pembelajaran Experiental Learning dan media Scrapbook dalam memengaruhi keterampilan menulis teks LHO kelas X (fase E) di SMAN 3 Painan. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Hasil Keterampilan menulis teks LHO peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode (Experiential Learning) lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode konvensional. Tidak adanya pengaruh antara Metode Experiential Learning dengan media Scrapbook dalam kemampuan menulis teks LHO kelas X (Fase E) di SMAN 3 Painan.

Pengaruh Peran Guru terhadap Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Kubung
The teacher is someone who has a very important role and is related to the success and quality of education. One of them is the successful implementation of the curriculum. The purpose of this study was motivated by the lack of understanding of some teachers regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Kubung, because the independent curriculum was only implemented at SMP Negeri 1 Kubung at the start of learning in 2022. This study aims to examine the influence of the teacher's role on the implementation of the independent curriculum in Kubung 1 Public Middle School. This type of research is quantitative research. The analysis technique used is Simple Linear Regression. The results of the study show that: there is a positive and significant influence on the role of the teacher on the implementation of the independent curriculum, where tcount > ttable (5.563 > 2.048) is obtained with a significant level of ? = 0.05
Pengaruh Minat Baca dan Sumber Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Solok
This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. This is thought to be due to low interest in reading and learning resources in the learning process. This research aims to examine, 1) the influence of interest in reading on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City, 2) the influence of learning resources on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City, 3) the influence of interest in reading and Learning Resources for Social Studies Learning Outcomes for Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. This research method is a quantitative method. The subjects in this research were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires, observation and documentation. From the research results it was found that 1) there was no partial influence between interest in reading on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP N 5 Solok City, 2) there was no influence between learning resources on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP N 5 Solok City and, 3) there is no simultaneous influence between reading interest and learning resources on students' social studies learning outcomes class VIII SMP N 5 Solok City.
