No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the chosen marketing strategy in increasing shoe sales at Yap Yek Home Industry in Bukittinggi. Technical analysis of data using the SWOT method, namely analysis of the factors of strength (strength), as well as knowing weaknesses. Meanwhile, analysis of external factors must be able to determine the opportunity (opportunity), and also know the threat (treat) by filling out a questionnaire. After that, these factors are analyzed using the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, SWOT matrix, and weight-score table analysis.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the marketing strategy used by Yap Yek's home industry with the highest total weight score on the Strenghts-Opportunities (S-O) strategy is 3.87. By optimizing the strength to take advantage of existing opportunities. Namely maintaining and improving product quality to attract new customers and retain existing customers, making constant innovations in products, especially in design and color to attract more consumers to use shoe products, maximizing marketing of owned leather shoe products, especially during the holiday season, following every major events and events such as the exhibition of industrial products by providing a bigger discount.

Pengaruh Celebrity Endorser dan Daya Tarik Iklan terhadap Minat Beli Ulang Shampo Pantene (Studi Kasus Kecamatan Padang Panjang Barat)
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of celebrity endorsements and attractiveness of advertisements on consumers of Pantene shampoo in Padang Panjang Barat sub-district. The type of research used is quantitative associative research. The sample in this study were 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that 1) Celebrity endorsers had a significant positive effect on repurchase interest and 2) Ad attractiveness had a significant positive effect on repurchase interest. Based on the analysis that has been tested, the celebrity endorser and the attractiveness of advertising together affect the repurchase interest of Pantene shampoo consumers in West Padang Panjang District. The value of R2 is 0.563, so it can be concluded that the contribution of celebrity endorser influence and advertising attractiveness to repurchase interest is 56.3%
THE STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON TEACHERS’ BASIC TEACHING SKILLS IN ENGLISH CLASSROOM
No full text The research was conducted due to difference students’ perceptions on teacher basic teaching skills in English classroom at SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya. The design of this research was a survey research. Data were obtained through questionnaire using the likert scale. The sample was collected from 96 students at SMKN 1 Tanjung by using simple random sampling. Additionally, the analyzing of the data was done by identifying the respondent’s responses, analyzing the data and making a conclusion. The finding remarked that the students viewed teacher ability in explaining lesson was good with score 77.38%. It indicates the teachers mostly applied all the indicators of explaining skill in teaching and learning in the classroom. Furthermore, teacher ability to guide discussion skill was good enough with mean score is 73,37%. It assumed that during teaching and learning process, the teacher did a good enough to guide the discussion in the class

Speeches containing figurative meanings contained very rarely spoken by the community, some younger generations lack the understanding of the figurative meanings contained. The custom of malala gala still gets its place in the middle of society and always done in every traditional ceremony. In addition, a small proportion of the younger generation are still willing to learn about Malewa Traditional gala. The purpose of this research is to describe the meaning in the metaphor in the text of Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu customary speech in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. The object of research is the text of Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu customary speech in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. The research findings of figurative meanings are improper meanings, the language is based on figures. The figurative meaning is conveyed in the text of the Malewa tradition of Gala Batagak Panghulu. In the data that has been obtained in the research, that on the meaning of metaphor in the text of custom speech Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Subdistrict Solok Regency there are 140 where there are 7 idiom data idiom meaning that is 5 full idioms and 2 partial idiom data, meaning kias phrases contain 13 which are entirely word or group of distinctive words to express something meanings with the meaning of the metaphor of data and the meaning of the maxim of the proverbs there are 120 data which 6 including the proverbial thimbles, the proverbial proverbs, the 50 proverbs, 2 proverbs of the parable, and 17 including proverbs are like. Suggested community leaders in order to preserve and socialize the values ??contained in the figurative meaning in the text of Malewa Gala Batagak traditional speech Panghulu.Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok merupakan latar dalam penelitian ini masyarakatnya menggunakan bahasa Minangkabau dalam penuturan sehari-hari. Tuturan yang mengandung makna kiasan yang terkandung sangat jarang diucapkan oleh masyarakat, sebagian generasi muda kurang memahami makna kiasan yang terkandung tersebut. Adat malewakan gala masih mendapat tempat di tengah-tengah masyarakat dan selalu dilakukan dalam setiap upacara adat. Selain itu, sebagian kecil generasi muda masih ada yang mau belajar tentang Adat malewakan gala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna dalam kiasan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Objek penelitian adalah teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Temuan penelitian makna kiasan adalah makna yang tidak sebenarnya, bahasanya berdasarkan kiasan. Makna kiasan disampaikan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu. Pada data yang telah didapat dalam penelitian, bahwa pada makna kiasan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok terdapat 140 dimana terdapa t makna kias idiom 7 data yang merupakan 5 idiom penuh dan 2 data idiom sebagian, makna kias ungkapan terdapat 13 yang seluruhnya merupakan perkataan atau kelompok kata yang khas untuk menyatakan sesuatu maksud dengan arti kiasan data dan makna kias peribahasa terdapat 120 data yang mana 6 termasuk peribahasa bidal, 9 peribahasa pepatah, 50 peribahasa teromba, 2 peribahasa perumpamaan, 2 peribahasa tamsil dan 17 termasuk peribahasa ibarat. Disarankan pemuka masyarakat agar dapat melestarikan dan mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam makna kiasan pada teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu
VALIDITAS LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN BASED LEARNING DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to describe the validity of Student Worksheets (LKPD) for junior high school students. LKPD was developed using a 4-D model, which consists of four stages, namely: the stage of defining, designing, developing. (develop), and spread (disseminate). However, this research is limited to the development stage. The results of this study are LKPD on the material of two-variable linear equation system in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Validation involves three validators, namely 2 mathematics education lecturers and 1 Indonesian language lecturer, using the LKPD validation sheet in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the study on the validity were declared valid by the validators in terms of content and language aspects, which from the content aspect obtained an average score of 3 as well as the language aspect obtained a score of 3 as well

Get PDFThis research aims to determine the suitability of value-added tax accounting actors at PT. Tiran Makassar with accounting treatment according to the VAT Law Number 42 of 2009, this type of research uses quantitative and qualitative data using comparative hypothesis and descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study are primary data consisting of interviews with PT. Tiran Makassar and secondary data in the form of documents from the company, namely, purchasing and sales data, profile, history, and company structure. This study focuses on value-added tax which focuses on purchasing and sales data of PT. Tiran Makassar, The results showed that the comparison of value-added tax accounting treatment at PT. Tiran Makassar and according to the Taxation Law Number 42 of 2009 concerning VAT have not complied with the applicable laws and regulations, where PT. Tiran Makassar in the acquisition of taxable goods (BKP) or taxable services (JKP) whose input tax is collected by the issuance of tax assessments. PT. Tiran Makassar only pays value-added tax (VAT) payable on the acquisition or utilization of taxable goods or taxable services after the issuance of a tax assessment

The purpose of this research is to produce a Pocket Book on valid Social Arithmetic material based on the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI). This type of research is a research and development (Research and Development) which uses a Plomp development model consisting of 3 stages, namely Preliminary Research, Design and Develop Protype, Evaluation. The Preliminary Research stage addresses analysis. Design and Develop Protype stages are designing, developing and testing Pocket Books. Evaluation stage is evaluating the product that has been produced. Furthermore, data collection using assessment instruments in the form of a questionnaire validated by 4 validators before being tested. The instruments used were questionnaire material experts, media experts, linguists, educator responses and students' responses. Then tested on class VII.3 32 Junior High School 2 Solok City. Based on the data analysis obtained 85,00% material expert questionnaire validation, 83.33% media expert and 82.00% linguist. While the results of the analysis of the questionnaire responses of educators 93.70% and responses of students 90.82%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Pocket Book that was developed is valid and practical
Pengaruh Disiplin dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang Kota Bukittinggi
No full textThis study aims to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang in Bukittinggi City. To conduct the research, the authors used data from a structured questionnaire and a sample of 75 employees of PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi City. This study uses the SPSS version 22 program and the test instruments used are validity and reliability tests using binary logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi City and motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Jam Gadang in Bukittinggi City and the most dominant variable affecting satisfaction is Work discipline.
