DAMPAK MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STAD TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA EKSTENSIF TEKS BERITA PESERTA DIDIK MTs HALABAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014-2015
Get PDFThis research was doing to know the effect of STAD method to improve exstensive reading texs ability students of MTsS Halaban in 2014-2015 academic year. The population and sample of this research the students of eight class. The research method used is descriptive method. The data gathering by using observation, triangulation, and full participant. Analysis of the data qualitative and also by using numeric and percentace. Research design used is planning, acting, observing, and reflecting was consist of three cycles. The result of the three cycles showed the improvement of students’ average score. The students’ average score in Pre-Test were 48,27; at the end of the first cycle the students’ average scores were 64,00; at the test of the second cycle students’ average score achieve 82,70; and at the last test of the third cycle students’ average score achieve 86,70. It means that the STAD method in learning activities can improve reading extensive texs ability.

Get PDFBackground of this research was student’s communication activity during learning process in classroom that used inapposite Indonesian language based on enhanced spelling (Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan). The using of Indonesian language by Computer Informatics Management program student class of 2015 was still under expectation. It could be seen from conversation that happened in some classes; a lot of them were still doubtful and not confident in using Indonesian language whereas, Indonesian language has been learned since elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), senior high school (SMA), and also in college. Aim of this research was to describe the effect of right and good Indonesian language use in student’s conversation in Computer Informatics Management program class of 2015 Economic Faculty University of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok 2015-2016 school year. This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach by using some techniques: observing technique, listening technique and recording. In analyzing data, the writer listened to the recording of student’s conversation utterance that was uttered by student of Computer Informatics Management program class of 2015. After the data collected, researcher classified and analyzed the result, and it would be displayed descriptively as a form of research presentation. Based on the result and discussion that had been conducted, the conclusions were as well; first they were as many as 41 non standard data, 5 slang words and 1 foreign language that were found from object research, second, lexical meaning was also found as many as 29 data

The researcher then recorded and recorded the expression of belief. From the results of research conducted in the field found 50 data. The purpose of educational value for the people of Jorong Limau Puruik Kenagarian Sungai Nanam, Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok Regency is all areas of life, in choosing and fostering a good life in accordance with human dignity. and also as a continuous process of humanity and humanity.Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat dijelaskan bahwa data ungkapan kepercayaan masyarakat di Jorong Limau Puruik Kenagarian Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok diperoleh menggunakan bahasa daerah Jorong Limau Puruik atau bahasa Minang. Untuk memperoleh data tersebut, peneliti mewawancarai 6 orang informan yang menjelaskan dan memahami tentang ungkapan kepercayaan masyarakat di Jorong Limau Puruik Kenagarian Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok. Peneliti kemudian mencatat dan merekam ungkapan kepercayaan tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di lapangan ditemukan 50 data. Tujuan nilai pendidikan bagi masyarakat Jorong Limau Puruik Kenagarian Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok adalah segala bidang penghidupan, dalam memilih dan membina hidup yang baik yang sesuai dengan martabat manusia. Proses interaksi manusiawi yang dilakukan oleh subjek dewasa untuk menumbuhkan kedewasaan pada subjek yang belum dewasa, dan juga sebagai proses kemanusiaan dan pemanusiaan secara terus-meneru

Get PDFBased on the research conducted by researchers at the Department of Economic Education, Panca Sakti University, Bekasi, this study aims to analyze: 1) Knowing the impact of online learning on the world of education, 2) There are limitations of learning media in online learning that affect teaching and learning, and 3) Knowing the success rate of online learning for social studies lessons at SMPN 20 Bekasi. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between online learning (X) on social studies learning achievement (Y). Based on data processing and data analysis assisted by the SPSS version 16 program, a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.242 means that the influence of online learning on social studies learning achievement has a significant effect, as indicated by R Square = 0.128 which means that 12,8% of variable variation learning achievement can be affected by online learning

THE TRANSLATION OF SLANG WORDS IN TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE MOVIE
Get PDF The objectives of the study to find out the types of English slang words used and strategies in translating slang words from English to Bahasa uttered in “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” movie. The data were collected using the theory of Partridge and Bloomfield, and theories of translation strategies by Mona Baker. The result showed that there were 61 slang words were found in this movie. They were classified into 7 types of slang words namely cockney slang, public house slang, workmen’s slang, slang in theater, slang in art, slang in public school and university, and society slang. Society slang is the utmost type of slang used in the movie and other pop cultures. The translation strategies used were translation by more general word, translation by more neutral/ less expressive, translation by paraphrase using the related word, paraphrase using the unrelated word, translation using loan word, cultural substitution, translation by omission, and translation by illustration. In conclusion, the researcher mostly used translation strategy named translation by a more general word in this research which has been determined by analyzing each source of data.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kata gaul yang digunakan dan strategi dalam menerjemahkan kata-kata gaul yang ada. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teori Partridge dan Bloomfield, dan teori-teori penerjemahan. strategi oleh Mona Baker. Hasil penelitian terdapat ada 61 kata slang yang ditemukan di film ini. Mereka diklasifikasikan menjadi 7 jenis kata gaul yaitu bahasa gaul cockney, bahasa gaul rumah umum, bahasa gaul pekerja, bahasa gaul di pertunjukan, bahasa gaul dalam seni, bahasa gaul di sekolah umum dan universitas dan bahasa gaul masyarakat. Bahasa gaul masyarakat merupakan jenis bahasa gaul yang paling banyak digunakan dalam film. Teknik terjemahan yg dipakai yaitu terjemahan dengan kata yang lebih umum, dengan lebih netral, dengan parafrase menggunakan kata terkait, parafrase menggunakan kata yang tidak berhubungan, menggunakan kata pinjaman, dengan substitusi budaya, dengan penghapusan, dan dengan ilustrasi. KAHOOT APPLICATION FOR GRAMMAR AND READING COMPREHENSION TESTING: DESIGNING, DEVELOPING, AND VALIDATING
Get PDF This study aims to develop Kahoot application for grammar and reading comprehension tests on the subject of simple past tense, recount text, and narrative text. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) by using Borg & Gall model. There were only applied three stages in this research: 1) research and information collection 2) product planning 3) development of a preliminary form of the product. At the stage of research and information data collection, the researcher conducted need analysis. To find out the need analysis, the researcher interviewed an English teacher and some students. The next stage was product planning. In this stage, the researcher determined the exam content outline as a reference to make a quiz and collecting the material. The next stage was to develop a preliminary form of the product. It involved designing, developing, and validating the product. The subjects were 28 students in class X network computer engineering at SMKS Pembina Bangsa Bukittinggi in the academic year 2020/2021. The data collection techniques were interview and validation sheets. Based on the results of the validation sheet from three experts by the means score of percentage was obtained 68,66%, It means that English quiz using Kahoot application for grammar and reading comprehension test was feasible to be used in learning English.

This research is a Research and Development (R & D) research using model used from ADDIE project. Validation is done by 9 validators ie 3 mathematicians, 3 linguists, and 3 media experts. Data analysis using material expert validation 89,16% with criterion very valid, validation of media expert 88,14% with criterion very valid, and validation of linguist 82,66% with valid criterion and practicality by educator with value 90,99% with very practical and practical learners 89.6% with a very practical ratio. The conclusion produced Leaphlet based on Realistic Mathematics Education on the material of convergence of one variable for students of class VII 9 SMPN 2 Kota Solok with criteria very valid and very practical

Therefore, this study aims to produce practical Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) -based Student Worksheets (LKPD). This type of research is development research (Research and Development), using the Plomp development model which consists of 3 stages, namely Preliminary Research, Design and Develop Protype, Evaluation. Furthermore, data collection using teacher response questionnaires, and student responses. The trial was conducted in class VII Khadijah SMPIT IQRA 'Solok City with 19 students. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis, the responses of educators and students reached 85.55% and 81.12%, so that a very practical LKPD was obtained

Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to develop a valid pocket book on set material. This research is a development research using the Plomp development model. The subjects of this study were 6 validators, one of the validators was educators at SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok and 5 from UMMY lecturers who were suitable in their respective fields of validation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results of validation by material experts obtained an average of 86.66% with a very valid category, the results of validation by linguists obtained an average of 88.00% with a very valid category and the results of validation by media experts obtained an average of 80.00% with very valid category. The validity of the Pocket Book produced both from the aspects of content / material, presentation and language reached very valid criteria up to the criteria of 86.00%. The conclusion in this study is to produce a valid pocket book using the Problem Solving Learning Model on Class VIISMP 4 Class Assemblies in Kota Solok
